We'd pick up frozen pulled pork in Tennessee and bring it back to Texas as a treat. Nothing to compare until our first visit to The Purple Pig in June. Meets and exceeds our high standards to perfection. Don't miss this delightful experience. There are many things that makes the pulled pork extraordinary. Quality. Pecan smoked, not common to Texas. “It’s been a few weeks since I last had H-E-B Texas barbecue, and somehow I forgot just how ridiculously good that brisket is. One bite in and—boom—instant reminder. Juicy, tender, piled high on a toasted bun… I added coleslaw and went full Texas-size. Honestly, I almost needed a nap halfway through.
The brisket-and-pinto beans? Let’s just say they did not skimp on the brisket. Flavor for days, just the right amount of sauce, and I even topped it all off with a little extra spicy sauce because why not?
They had just opened at 11 a.m., and the service was excellent—shoutout to Desiree! Food came out hot, fast, and smelling like happiness.

“Always take your receipt , yesterday me and my hubby went there for lunch , we paid , I did a custom tip and didn’t take a receipt , well now today when checking my bank account my waitress took the liberty to tip herself an extra $15 but of course since I didn’t take the receipt I can’t dispute it , so if you’re gonna eat there always take your receipt but overall the food is good“

“We came in from out of town. Our family recommended us to go eat there! It was our first time eating Korean BBQ! We loved it!!!! Our children liked the shrimp tempura, shrimp friend rice and ramen. Make sure you order just the regular broth with the ramen 🍜 if it’s for your kids. If not it’s a bit spicy if you don’t. It’s very temp hot too. Ethan are server was pleasant and attentive. Great for birthdays too! I love how they sing to you and play the happy birthday song with glow sicks! Love of delicious sides come with the meal. We really enjoyed ourselves! “Where to start, where to start.... Our party had 2 early arrivals that grabbed a table as the other 5 of is were instructed to go to Texas Roadhouse across the highway... Once we learned of the faux pas the 5 of us crossed over and met up. Unfortunately, there were 7 total, not 6 like the hostess was told, but we added a chair and went 3 wide on one side since they wouldn't allow us to drag another UNUSED small table over (that table was EMPTY ALL NIGHT TOO) EVENTUALLY, our darling server showed up and took our drink order and food order at the same time as we had plenty of time to carouse the menu waiting for her. Eventually our drink order showed up (sodas/tea/water) Salads all came out in a large serving with a generous serving of dressing. Two of our salads were incorrect dressing so they went back. Our server made a great joke when she brought the corrected ones back, joking it was a different dressing again. Salad was a great house salad W cheese, croutons, tomatoes, cucumbers all diced up nicely. Our table ordered all across the menu, ribs, dinner salads, CFS, grilled shrimp, chicken tenders. Sides were all excellent from Brussel sprouts to sweet potatoes. The wait for the food was worth it, we had serious conversation we needed to tend to anyways. Server disappeared for quite a while, I needed a refill on water but never got it, thankfully, that's exactly why I drink SLOWLY until I know if I'm going to get topped off frequently or not. Half our group finished our meals and stacked plates, but server never showed up to collect them and took forever to bring our checks. Once checks were divided it took quite a while to get them back to sign and retrieve our credit cards again too. Server was friendly, funny and nice, just lacking attentiveness (didn't see her at any other tables on our area either) Food was DEFINITELY BETTER than Texas Roadhouse... Especially the grilled shrimp. NEVER EVER ORDER THEM AT TEXAS ROADHOUSE, it's like eating a block of salt !! Half our group took home doggy bags as portions are large and worth eating as leftovers again for sure! Will probably return someday, we don't live very close by, but it was overall a decent experience and not overpriced.“

I'm so used to the serving sizes other barbecue places give for that amount, that I was astonished at the amount of sausage and brisket I was given. “Very impressed with this Bill Miller BBQ location! Place was slammed but everyone was performing well and diligently! Chloe at the register was composed and collected! Travis, the manager, brought our food out to us and held the receipt with pencil lines through each item indicating that he personally made sure we got everything we paid for! On the way back in, Travis took a quick second to straighten out the curbside signs and unfurled the American flag that had wrapped itself around its pole! Food was hot, fresh, and delicious! “Speedy service and friendly service!
There were about 10 cars in front of me in the drive thru line but within 14 minutes I was in and out of the parking lot.
My kids love the buckaroo chicken tender meal, very fair in size it almost seems to be the size of a regular combo #4. Only difference that I noticed is a kids drink versus a regular sized cup.
Bonus points for the brownie with nut dessert included 🙂 $6.30 for this meal“
