We'd pick up frozen pulled pork in Tennessee and bring it back to Texas as a treat. Nothing to compare until our first visit to The Purple Pig in June. “The tamales are SO GOOD ugh I haven't had good tamales in years. These knock the store bought and the in laws' tamales out the park. They're nice and moist, not dry at all. The seasoning for the meat is great and it's a perfect ratio of masa and meat. They aren't ginormous but they aren't flat and tiny (I've had some paper thin ones before). I think they're a decent size, especially for the flavor and value ($30 for 2 dozen). Gotta try their barbacoa next time!“

“Always take your receipt , yesterday me and my hubby went there for lunch , we paid , I did a custom tip and didn’t take a receipt , well now today when checking my bank account my waitress took the liberty to tip herself an extra $15 but of course since I didn’t take the receipt I can’t dispute it , so if you’re gonna eat there always take your receipt but overall the food is good“

“We came in from out of town. Our family recommended us to go eat there! It was our first time eating Korean BBQ! We loved it!!!! Our children liked the shrimp tempura, shrimp friend rice and ramen. Make sure you order just the regular broth with the ramen 🍜 if it’s for your kids. If not it’s a bit spicy if you don’t. It’s very temp hot too. Ethan are server was pleasant and attentive. Great for birthdays too! I love how they sing to you and play the happy birthday song with glow sicks! Love of delicious sides come with the meal. We really enjoyed ourselves! “Such a caring and compassionate General Manager, I just spoke with Ipo and told her about my food allergies and she was so caring and accommodating and gave me a list of ingredients and alternatives that I could do and she said at the time of ordering let their manager know and they will cook my food off to the side to try and avoid cross contamination. And that they have designated fryers for their fries. Love love love restaurants that have compassion and care for their customers with food allergies!!!“

“They removed the tray and trash things during covid and never put them back. So now you just leave it and have to wait for the staff to come get your tray. It looks trashy. Put the dang things back. There are plenty of restaurants around that have the tray return stations put back. You're not saving the planet, you're just annoying your staff and your customers

You will impress that lovely lady with your choice of various sides such as coalSlaw, Spanish Rice (perfect for a Chicana), beans, and lots of American Pies 🥧 ! And brownies Chunks to choose from! The old country songs playing in the background will add to the romance and mood. That ambience in the air complimentary to the soft lighting that sets the mood for a first kiss! They also have great and tasty fried chicken and pico along with onions you can munch down all night if you don’t like your date so much. Highly Recommend“

“I got the 3 meat and 2 side order that came out to a little over 20 dollars. I'm so used to the serving sizes other barbecue places give for that amount, that I was astonished at the amount of sausage and brisket I was given. Meat and vegetables were cooked to perfection and I can't recommend them enough.“

There were about 10 cars in front of me in the drive thru line but within 14 minutes I was in and out of the parking lot.
My kids love the buckaroo chicken tender meal, very fair in size it almost seems to be the size of a regular combo #4. Only difference that I noticed is a kids drink versus a regular sized cup.
Bonus points for the brownie with nut dessert included 🙂 $6.30 for this meal“

“This is my favorite Bill Millers. The service is always great and so is the food. Chicken is always on point. I have never received bad service or food from this spot. I remember one day all the power was out and they were still frying chicken. They had that back door open so they could have some light in the kitchen and they served us fresh hot chicken with a smile. I laughed but never forgot that day. If you don’t mind waiting all their food is good. I said they have a Great Manager because she found a way to serve the customers 😁😁“

“We had breakfast at Bill Millers's while visiting my daughter in Cibolo. We chose to dine in and had a great experience. The food was delicious, the coffee strong and there weren't many people in the dining room. We stopped because the line in the parking lot, for their window pickup was CRAZY!! Figured it had to be good if that many people were willing to wait in that crazy line of cars! We weren't disappointed! Will definitely visit again when we return to Texas.“

Travis, the manager, brought our food out to us and held the receipt with pencil lines through each item indicating that he personally made sure we got everything we paid for! “I have been going to this breakfast buffet for years and it never disappoints. They give such a good variety of breakfast items that you don’t know what to choose so you ultimately get everything. However their omelette station is the best part. This year they had beef brisket and putting brisket in an omelette is genius. Their mini pancakes/waffles, pastries, and breakfast potatoes are all so good. If you’re not staying here you can still go anytime for breakfast and highly recommend.“
