If you are one of the folks who had come here pre-covid and experienced the opposite, let me tell you, this is not the same place. This is worth the drive over even when I am not on my way to work!!”

“The Purple Pig was recommended to me, and I recommend this outstanding BBQ eatery enthusiastically. The best pulled pork BBQ I've eaten has been in Tennessee. Nothing to compare. We'd pick up frozen pulled pork in Tennessee and bring it back to Texas as a treat. Nothing to compare until our first visit to The Purple Pig in June. Meets and exceeds our high standards to perfection. Don't miss this delightful experience. There are many things that makes the pulled pork extraordinary. Quality. Pecan smoked, not common to Texas. Wonderful sides. Add to the excellence of the food is the service and the quaint, charming setting. Five stars.”

“TLDR: Try this place, you won’t be disappointed
Delicious, generously portioned food. My husband got the lamb curry (spice level hot) and chili cheese naan and I got saag paneer (spice level medium) and garlic naan. Both dishes were spiced perfectly and prepared fresh. The strawberry lassi was prepared to order and the perfect thing to cook the heat down from the spices. Very well priced for the amount of food also”

“My family finally checked out this place and I'm not sure why we haven't until now!! Staff was all incredibly nice. Very clean restaurant. Prices were good. Everything we had was delicious and made to order. You can tell that love and care were put into everything we got, something I definitely appreciate. I had catfish and fries, it was perfect and definitely satisfied my craving that day. My husband had a Chicago dog and it looked amazing, he enjoyed it. One kid had a gyro and wow, it looked great. She wouldn't let me try it lol. The other kid had kid chicken tenders. They were not your typical frozen nuggets y'all, they were fresh fried chicken and she loved them (picky kid). We will be back. I can't wait to try everything else. Maybe next time I'll remember to get pictures but trust me, give them a visit.”

“I love on the grind so much more than Starbucks. They have a good selection of coffee, comes hot, cold and blended. They even offer a stamp card and after you buy 10 coffees you get one free. They dont even scam you by making the free coffee something nobody wants like a small black. I just redeemed my free drink today and got a large iced chocolate Carmel coffee. Their drinks dont taste as sugary as Starbucks, which I like, but they are still quite sweet. Ive gone here for a few years now and never have they gotten my order wrong, everyone is always very happy and even if the line looks long still go! They do the same thing chick fil a does and will get your order on an iPad and get you out with your drink fast. I love this place. They are dog friendly too and my dogs love coming to get a pup cup. What is not to like?”

“For our Anniversary in 2022, my wife and I decided we wanted to get a cake to celebrate. We both like old-fashioned butter-creme icing, and not that new light, marshmallow-ish stuff that bakeries put on cakes today. We wanted a layer-cake with thick butter-creme filling, as well as icing on the outside. Emily's Cakes came through for us. The cake we got was more than expected and was absolutely delicious! We're planning to order another one this year, if we haven't waited too late. We need it by Sunday of next week 7/14/24. Is that even possible?”

“Never did I thought that in the 13 years that I’ve been in this country I’d find something so close to home! This Tex-Mex restaurant had more Mex than Tex. It is the MOST authentic food I’ve eaten and brought me back to my childhood. The prices are good, the food is delicious, the service is decent. We come from Dallas and best believe we’ll be coming back to Melanie’s!”

“I have been coming in here twice a week for the last six months. I must say it’s my favorite Quick food place. The people are courteous. The food is great and they never mess up an order, nothing but huge kudos for this restaurant. Actually, I’ve been coming in here the last 10 years and they’ve always done a great job! The manager is always super friendly and so is, I don’t know her name but the lady who normally works the evening cashiers shift for years is so so nice, really if you’re tired of the same old burgers and chicken sandwich come to this fresh hotspot you’ll love it.”

“Recommend 100x - I visit this location at least a couple times a week. Today, I witnessed something truly amazing. I was in the drive thru. I heard one of the employees tell another employee that a lady in a curbside spot was having a bad day. Whenever she delivered her food to her, I noticed that the employee was praying for the customer. This blew my mind, as I had never seen this happen at a restaurant before. Very, very special. Thank you for hiring people that not only do their job, but go above and beyond for their customers.”

“I love eating here. tonight left a sour taste in my mouth . last week I ordered extra cane sauce. it was left out when order was being checked. I went this evening, requested a cane sauce at no charge. I explained reason. cashier checked with mngmnt as I was standing there, manager told the young man that he can't be giving out free food. so what does the young man do? he pays for it. once I realized what was going on, I advised the young man I could pay for it BUT he wasn't giving away FREE food! I PAIS for that sauce. thank you to the cashier an👎👎👎 to the manager !!”

Never stepped for inside but have ordered this on uber maybe 20 times over the last few months and it's always the bomb, gets there with all items, it's almost always still really hot (that's a win for uber), and flavors are on point. Will be coming back until they do something egregious, will update if needed. As of 5 July 22 though it's still the best wings place in cibolo schertz and UC that I've found.”

“If you’re looking for a really great sub, look no further. This JJs on 3009 is by far the best. I got the Ultimate Italian. And man, let me tell you. They put their heart into making that one. It’s the best one I’ve had around here. And to top it off, their sanitation grade is an “A”.”

“Yall. I’ve been seeing some bad reviews; but let me share my experience.
I come to little Cesar’s pretty often. Say once a week or once every couple of weeks. I call ahead or order online, and then go get my pizza. There’s only been a handful of times it wasn’t ready.
The pizza. This store has literally the best pizza. Perfect dough, crispy, but soft. Cheese bread is always soft and warm. We come for new braunfels just to get it because it’s perfectly made everytime. Out of the 4738 times I’ve been there in the last two years, never been disappointed. Well, except once, but that was DoorDash being idiots.
All in all, it’s a great place and while I’ve never had a problem; you can’t judge a store by a few bad moments.”

“The Smash Burger was great. The fries were seasoned too much for my taste. I would rather have just good ole' salt and pepper. The service was great and the guy was very friendly. A home run would be to offer regular fries (unseasonsed) and their seasoned fries. Best of both worlds. Read the reviews and I'm not the only one making this observation. I would be more of a repeat customer with non-seasoned fries. Don't get me wrong, I have had some seasoned fries in the past that I like, but I don't particularly care for these that the offer. Again, the burger was great!!!”
