There was more than enough food, and the portions were large and satisfying. They provided everything needed to serve lunch, which made the process so easy. The flavor of the food was incredible, and even with delivery, everything arrived fresh and hot! Our luncheon was a huge success, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Prime rib was on point and the pork ribs were as well. I could eat a whole plate of their green beans. A man, maybe a manager, came to assist us at our table as we were trying to get my hubby's wheelchair closer in for him to eat. “At the corner of Hwy 181 and SE 1604 in Floresville TX sits a little shack looking like something out of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, that boasts having The Best Barbacoa in The World. We pass it twice a day and have often laughed about it. Shame on me for violating my own premise that the best food comes from the most unassuming dive joints. We finally tried it and Holy Smokin' beef cheeks, Batman. The service is good and the people friendly. The barbacoa is super tender, flavorful and moist, without being greasy. It comes with whole avocados, pico de gallo, your choice of flour or corn tortillas. If you order flour you're doing it wrong. You can optionally get it with the requisite beverage, Big Red. If you order any other drink, you lose your Texican card. It doesn't matter if you hate Big Red as I do. Go Big Red or go home. It has all the ambience of being broken down in your car on the side of a busy highway intersection, which of course is exactly the ambience it should have. They also have tamales and menudo, but online reviews suggest Larry should stick to what he does best--The World's Best Barbacoa--and leave it at that. oh...they only take cash, so leave your credit cards at home, and mindya bizness about if he reports all of it to Uncle Sam. 5 out of 5 stars 🌟“

“My brother travels nearly an hour just to get barbacoa and tamales from here. My cousin travels 30 mins. My best friend nearly 30 mins. My mom passes at least 3 other places to take the 20 min drive. Everyone LOVES this place. Always the same good food. You will NOT be disappointed.“

“I had seen videos on Facebook and wanted to try this place out. Our first time here and the bbq was awesome! My wife and I got the all you can eat to try a little of everything. To start off with you get to choose 3 meats and 3 sides, we got brisket, ribs, regular sausage, jalapeño sausage and turkey. The brisket was falling apart the ribs were perfectly seasoned and delicious (my favorite ) both the regular and jalapeño sausage was good and my wife loved the turkey. “Old restaurant that's been a staple in this small town. Food is great, service was great and pricing are reasonable. Wife had chicken fried steak and I had their cheeseburger. Their fries are cooked golden brown to perfection. Fried okra is another great side.“

“I got the 3 meat and 2 side order that came out to a little over 20 dollars. I'm so used to the serving sizes other barbecue places give for that amount, that I was astonished at the amount of sausage and brisket I was given. Meat and vegetables were cooked to perfection and I can't recommend them enough.“

“Speedy service and friendly service!
There were about 10 cars in front of me in the drive thru line but within 14 minutes I was in and out of the parking lot.
My kids love the buckaroo chicken tender meal, very fair in size it almost seems to be the size of a regular combo #4. Only difference that I noticed is a kids drink versus a regular sized cup.
Bonus points for the brownie with nut dessert included 🙂 $6.30 for this meal“
