There was more than enough food, and the portions were large and satisfying. They provided everything needed to serve lunch, which made the process so easy. “We order an entire meal this Thanksgiving and it was excellent the turkey, stuffing and gravy were excellent. We didn’t expect turkey to be smoked. It was so delicious! With prices being so high, their prices were comparable to H-E-B We made waffles with our stuffing. They were delicious!“

“My husband and I had dinner there last night for the first time. The young lady who took our order was very patient and friendly. The food arrived to our table within a few minutes and it was great. Prime rib was on point and the pork ribs were as well. I could eat a whole plate of their green beans. A man, maybe a manager, came to assist us at our table as we were trying to get my hubby's wheelchair closer in for him to eat. “At the corner of Hwy 181 and SE 1604 in Floresville TX sits a little shack looking like something out of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, that boasts having The Best Barbacoa in The World. We pass it twice a day and have often laughed about it. Shame on me for violating my own premise that the best food comes from the most unassuming dive joints. We finally tried it and Holy Smokin' beef cheeks, Batman. The service is good and the people friendly. The barbacoa is super tender, flavorful and moist, without being greasy. It comes with whole avocados, pico de gallo, your choice of flour or corn tortillas. If you order flour you're doing it wrong. You can optionally get it with the requisite beverage, Big Red. If you order any other drink, you lose your Texican card. It doesn't matter if you hate Big Red as I do. Go Big Red or go home. It has all the ambience of being broken down in your car on the side of a busy highway intersection, which of course is exactly the ambience it should have. They also have tamales and menudo, but online reviews suggest Larry should stick to what he does best--The World's Best Barbacoa--and leave it at that. oh...they only take cash, so leave your credit cards at home, and mindya bizness about if he reports all of it to Uncle Sam. 5 out of 5 stars 🌟“

“The tamales are SO GOOD ugh I haven't had good tamales in years. These knock the store bought and the in laws' tamales out the park. They're nice and moist, not dry at all. The seasoning for the meat is great and it's a perfect ratio of masa and meat. They aren't ginormous but they aren't flat and tiny (I've had some paper thin ones before). I think they're a decent size, especially for the flavor and value ($30 for 2 dozen). Gotta try their barbacoa next time!“

“Old restaurant that's been a staple in this small town. Food is great, service was great and pricing are reasonable. Wife had chicken fried steak and I had their cheeseburger. Their fries are cooked golden brown to perfection. Fried okra is another great side.“

“I got the 3 meat and 2 side order that came out to a little over 20 dollars. I'm so used to the serving sizes other barbecue places give for that amount, that I was astonished at the amount of sausage and brisket I was given. Meat and vegetables were cooked to perfection and I can't recommend them enough.“

There were about 10 cars in front of me in the drive thru line but within 14 minutes I was in and out of the parking lot.
My kids love the buckaroo chicken tender meal, very fair in size it almost seems to be the size of a regular combo #4. Only difference that I noticed is a kids drink versus a regular sized cup.
Bonus points for the brownie with nut dessert included 🙂 $6.30 for this meal“

“This is my favorite Bill Millers. The service is always great and so is the food. Chicken is always on point. I have never received bad service or food from this spot. I remember one day all the power was out and they were still frying chicken. They had that back door open so they could have some light in the kitchen and they served us fresh hot chicken with a smile. I laughed but never forgot that day. If you don’t mind waiting all their food is good. I said they have a Great Manager because she found a way to serve the customers 😁😁“
