They communicate very well, on time and even stayed late into the night to ensure it set before the rain started. Could not give them a higher recommendation.”

“We placed a to go order for four people. The girl taking our order was very nice and the order was ready in a timely fashion. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals of street tacos , biraccho beans, chicken quesadilla, and chicken fajita taco salad. Definitely a good choice!”

“Texas Pride Barbeque made our company luncheon absolutely phenomenal! I ordered catering for 45 people, and everything was perfect from start to finish. There was more than enough food, and the portions were large and satisfying. They provided everything needed to serve lunch, which made the process so easy. The flavor of the food was incredible, and even with delivery, everything arrived fresh and hot! Our luncheon was a huge success, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. “We order an entire meal this Thanksgiving and it was excellent the turkey, stuffing and gravy were excellent. We didn’t expect turkey to be smoked. It was so delicious! With prices being so high, their prices were comparable to H-E-B We made waffles with our stuffing. They were delicious!”

The chicken and beef fajitas were incredibly tender and packed with flavor—served alongside rice, beans, and all the fajita fixings, every single guest left happy and full. Beyond the amazing food, the staff at Rabel’s truly stood out. They were attentive, friendly, and made sure both the wedding party and our guests were taken care of the entire time. That level of service made such a special day even more memorable. Even though we live in East Texas, we’ll definitely be stopping by Rabel’s every chance we get when we’re near La Vernia. The food was exceptionally fresh, the batter they use is wonderful and the coleslaw is about the best I’ve eaten in my 74 years. The food was hot and served quickly and the waitstaff is phenomenal. The place is clean and everyone was so gracious. Highly recommend!!”

I literally leave in a better mood every morning. (even when I am already in a good mood!) The food is great the servers are great and the price is right. If you are one of the folks who had come here pre-covid and experienced the opposite, let me tell you, this is not the same place. This is worth the drive over even when I am not on my way to work!!”

“I really thought the staff would be friendly, but unfortunately that’s not what I received. I pulled up to the window to order 2 drinks, I said hello and nothing in return except getting my order. In the middle of my 1st drink order, I was interrupted by the drive thru lady when she was trying to finish my drink order before I could say the rest of what I wanted in it. So I had to repeat myself because she repeated it wrong. The 2nd drink order, I was interrupted again and therefore had to repeat the order again. After I paid, she only handed my payment and receipt and all she did was close the drive thru window in the middle of me attempting to say thank you. I then make it to the pick up window to see drinks that I didn’t order what were given to me. I let the lady know that it wasn’t the correct order. After asking what I had ordered she offers to remake them. I then receive the orders to find they were still wrong. At this point I was just going to deal with the drinks I received and proceeded to say thank you and have a good day to the window being closed while trying to be courteous to them. I would give it less than 4 stars because not being friendly in that field of work it definitely a turn off from the place but from my half correct order, the coffee seemed to taste good and I can’t complain on the pricing. Eventually I may give this place another try but for now I was disappointed in the not so friendly service.”

“My last two visits to The Human Bean have been pretty terrible experiences and I’ve reached out twice trying to speak with someone about it and haven’t heard back, other than from someone that said my message forwarded to the right people. The last visit was so bad I had to throw my drink away. Other than those two visits and the lack of customer support, other experiences have been perfect. We’ll be taking a small break for now from The Human Bean though and won’t be giving a specific location a third chance.”
