Very good flavor, thin crust, friendly, great customer service. They opened in about 2020, if you have a chance and you’re in the LaVernia area, definitely give them a try!”

“Kids have gotten addicted to these doughnuts. I normally get there by 530am, and its pretty neat to watch how they make them. They are always super soft, moist, and never dry. They are definitely thicker than your Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, but just as soft, if not softer. which is what I love about this place. We always get the pink and chocolate sprinkled, regular glazed and doughnut holes. The doughnut holes are addictive hahaha. They are small enough just to pop them in your mouth with coffee.”

“This was our first time at Baldy’s La Vernia and we will be back. Sherry, our waitress, made it an excellent visit. She was kind, friendly and helpful. Food was excellent! I had the special, flat iron steak, salad, baked potato and chocolate cake, it was fantastic-a juicy, tender steak!”

“It's a drive through snack stop, with limited parking to wait for your order.Plenty of alcoholic beverages even frozen margaritas. But plenty of gas station snacks and candies.But we got the cheese pizza, and it was surprisingly good. Not gummy how frozen pizzas are, so I'm assuming it was prepared fresh.”

“It is an extremely comfortable place. It kind of looks like something you would not want to go into but that would be a mistake because the food is very good. Since it is small it can get packed very quickly.

“Our family has used this as a perk me up spot for coffee ,years now . The service is usually provided by young adults and they are always very polite and accommodating. The energy drinks are great in flavor but not strong enough for me however it resembles an Italian soda which i absolutely love !”

“The place has changed hands a dozen times over the last 10 years and as today it appeared to be doing a good steady business. The food was plentiful ( Had the breakfast buffer) well prepared and a good variety. Combination to standard American as well as the Tex Mex that we are all familiar with. “Can't go wrong with taco bell, and this one is better than most. I have never waited more than 5 minutes for my food even when theres 3 or 4 cars ahead of me.”

“Service was great…. Becky was very nice. Chef salads were freshly made (grilled chicken and chicken strips on the other) big salads. Chicken fried steak with coleslaw was very tasty and ordered a cheese Burger with fries to go. We will return to this restaurant.
