“Burger and dog selection was good. Burgers were tasty and the tots spiced just right. Veteran discount is honored which is really nice. Great little place, when I am out this way, will definitely be stopping in.”

“I had the chicken kabobs with grilled vegetables. I'm normally not crazy about kabobs but will definitely buy this again!Everything grilled to perfection, portions were more than could finish(I had enough for 2 meals), and the prices are reasonable. Next plate I buy will be the chicken curry.”

“Kids have gotten addicted to these doughnuts. I normally get there by 530am, and its pretty neat to watch how they make them. They are always super soft, moist, and never dry. They are definitely thicker than your Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, but just as soft, if not softer. which is what I love about this place. We always get the pink and chocolate sprinkled, regular glazed and doughnut holes. The doughnut holes are addictive hahaha. They are small enough just to pop them in your mouth with coffee.”

“The Lou boy sandwich was very good. Best okra and sweet potato fries I've had in a long time. The waiter brought balloon animals out to my kids. This place is great.”

“?Our family travels to San Antonio quite a bit and we decided to stop in La Vernia to try out one of their restaurants. Armando’s is a gem! The restaurant is very clean and the service was top notch. We have 4 kids and they double sliced one of the pizzas for us. We didn’t even have to ask. ?My three year old said this is delicious! And he was right. We ordered 2 medium pizzas and we didn’t have any leftovers! I couldn’t believe it. Bonus, the ranch cups are included with the pizza.We highly recommend trying Armando’s. Super yummy. We will be stopping by again when we are passing through. ?Kid-friendliness: They have 4 TVs in the restaurant. We appreciated that everything showing was family friendly.”

“Hash browns!!!!! I love love love this place!!!! Pork chops are amazing! The omelets always make me feel adventurous and the pie choices are out of this world! Great staff! Always love helping the servers helping each other out.”

“It's a drive through snack stop, with limited parking to wait for your order.Plenty of alcoholic beverages even frozen margaritas. But plenty of gas station snacks and candies.But we got the cheese pizza, and it was surprisingly good. Not gummy how frozen pizzas are, so I'm assuming it was prepared fresh.”

“The wings were very big and juicy and thick. Can’t wait to get some more of their chicken in my mouth. I recommend the golden bear sauce. Bussin is an understatement when it comes to wing dogs.Wheelchair accessibility: You can easily roll up in a wheel chair and smash some wings.”

“Every food I've tried has been yummy. They're a small family owned business. The dining area is a bit small, so if they're busy, they'll fill up fast. You're able to easily order to go. I wish they had handout menus, though. But you can see most of what they do on the posted pictures. They're very friendly and make delicious food.Parking: There is parking out in front of the restaurant. It's limited to about what they can fit inside.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp to the front door. Inside the restaurant, it may be a little tight to maneuver. But all the tables are movable.”

“I had never eaten here before. Last week I got some chicken/shrimp fried rice and the orange chicken as takeout. I absolutely loved everything! Both menu items were out of this world and Rice 2 go will be a regular stop for me from now on!”

“Friendly staff and the food was fresh! We will be back!Also, I really enjoyed their complimentary chips and salsa! Even heard a lady ask the server if she could buy a jar of salsa. The servere replied, " Unfortunately, it is only available in a plastic to go container." The lady said, "dang, I live 600 miles away!" I new then I was not the only one who liked it a lot!”

“Lousy service today, and it was after the lunch rush! Orders were wrong, twice! So we asked one of the managers to please make them fresh cuz our sandwiches were cold by now going back & forth! She had the audacity to ask, Oh you want them fresh?! Really?! It’ll be a while if we’re ever to go back to this location!”
