“We took a different route to the beach and we were hungry. Looked up places in Stockdale and stumbled upon Down and Out. We ordered the special, a crispy fried chicken thigh sandwich with jalapeño slaw and hot honey.
Served fresh and was one of the juiciest fried chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. If you are in the area highly recommend!!!”

“On 8/12/26, my mom and I stopped by Dairy Queen and were helped by Kristof. From the moment we walked in, he greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome. My mom is pretty picky and was having a hard time deciding on a flavor because of all the different options and add-ins, and she didn’t see the flavor she wanted on the menu. “The food was great! I got 6 crab rangoon, egg roll, cup of soup, and a huge plate of Pad Thai for under $20. It was cooked fresh and the couple that was working were so sweet! The cook (husband) came out to ask if we were ok waiting a little longer cause the pad thai noodles still needed to soften more. It was not long at all though. We will return!”
