“Dont let the rustic look on the outside of the restaurant fool you. This is the best Mexican restaurant in the Floresville/La Vernia area! I tend to order the Alambres Plate and a Torta. Fresh tortillas, sauces, sweet teas and Mexican drinks made in house.I would buy more and save for left overs at home, as they last a couple of days in the fridge. And even tasted as good the day it was made. If you can microwave your left overs and taste as good, I am definitely coming back!Parking: 2 spots, but plenty of seating inside.”

“Went through drive through and talk about small town friendliness! Best drive through service with a smile and the lady was very attentive to allergy needs. I ordered the Rose chai latte with Almond milk and real rose petals on top for garnish! Not only was this a beautiful drink but amazingly delicious. I've had many chai lattes before and of course none are bland but this one has so much beautiful flavor, definitely a top notch signature latte..... 100 times better than Starbucks. Something I will crave. “You may question the structural integrity of the building (however, just like all of Downtown Floresville, it's aged and historic). BUT you will not question the food. Excellent taste and choices. Service was fantastic and timely. Price was reasonable and less than 40$ for two people with appetizers and drinks. Highly recommended to try!”

“What formerly used to be Olivias. We still call it that ? Best Tex Mex food in town! Seriously, number one out of my top three. We always come here. We used to be acquainted with the old owner and the family. As it was a family owned business. Since the new owner took over, the staff and everyone is just as nice and the food is the same. Always very welcoming. Depending on the time of the day, they can get pretty busy. But if you know the times to go, you can catch them when they're not as full, If you like more of an empty, quiet atmosphere. Puffy tacos are to die for. Usually I get the no 3 (enchiladas and crispy taco plate) and ask for a puffy instead of a crispy. ? Not that there's anything wrong with a crispy. Their puffy is just amazing. The carne guisada is also sooo good. The prices are very fair. The waitresses always go above and beyond. Most of the time, we sit down, and they bring us our drinks right away, already knowing our usual drinks without having to ask. Now that's really good service. Always a pleasure. Thanks, yall!”

“Our first time visit. I know good Mexican food. This is it. My husband got the Mexican plate, and i got the beef fajita plate. First thing. Best restaurant tortillas I've ever had. My husband's meat was perfectly tender. My beef fajitas plate was huge. There was enough meat for 4 to 5 tacos. The beef was the most tender I have had as far as fajita beef. It comes with peppers, and onions, so if you don't normally have that just ask for no peppers, or onions. The food came out in less then 7 minutes. That was a pleasant surprise. My only issue was only one waitress, and also she cashiered. I needed a to go box, and I could not get her attention. She was super nice, but you have to follow up with your table. Do yourself a favor, and give this place a try. Your tummy will thank you. Oh side note. Prices are great in this economy. It was $24 for 2 dinners, 2 sodas, and of course chips, and salsa.”

“It's a small place, in a historic building, almost blink, and you'd miss it, but t hen you'd miss some of the best breakfast tacos around. I'm a bean and cheese taco guy, and they are excellent here. The wife has no complaints, loves the food.”

“I ordered the country fried steak plate. I was extremely surprised at how good it was and how tender it was as well. We encountered two problems for people with disabilities. Number one was the entrance, the way the concrete ramp is shaped makes it very difficult to push someone in a wheelchair into the restaurant. The other issue is the hallway to the bathroom and the bathroom itself. Very narrow hallway. The bathroom is extremely small, a wheelchair doesn't fit. Lastly, the toilet itself is low to the ground which makes it difficult for a disabled person to sit down or get up from it.”

“Friendly atmosphere. Beer is cheap. He only takes cash. There is no atm in the bar, but but behind the bar is a bank. He does not sell liquor, but he does allow you to take your own bottle of liquor in. There is 2 pool tables and one dart game.”

“No pics because the food was gone quick it was so good! I came with my dad and my kids- the fried pickles were amazing! Dad and I both got the special- the hamburger steak which was delicious! And the kids got chicken strips and grilled cheese kids meals. The fries were a huge hit with the kids! The atmosphere and vibes of the place were so nostalgic and cosy- it reminded me of going to the vfw or American legion hall with my grandparents as a kid- and they were even setting up for bingo! “Typical hole in the wall bar. 2 pool tables, juke box and a few tables. The owner is the only bartender. Really nice guy, remembers your face and your order. Great place to escape and relax with a friend or 2, if you're wanting a beer without a crowd”

“When AJ said the Chicken Rollantini was "king" he wasn't kidding. The crab and cheese stuffed chicken breast in a mushroom cream sauce was outstanding. The house dressing on the salad was excellent as well, and the garlicky dip for the house made bread was wonderful.Overall if you are hungry in Wilson county you should definitely stop by Guiseppe's!!!”

“This place has great consistency food wise. The setup to order is a little unorthodox and the wait to time when you do order is what makes this not a five star restaurant. You wait 15-20 minutes sometimes more to get your food. The food however is great portion wise and the meat is usually really tender. However the wait outways the greatness of the food.”
