Golden Chick provides a friendly and clean dining environment. The roast chicken is super delicious, and the chicken salad is spectacular. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including mac and cheese, which is out of this world delicious. The staff is extremely friendly and works as a team to ensure good service. Customers have praised Elsa for her delightful service and the manager, Peter, for going above and beyond, even reopening the kitchen late to serve a satisfying meal. The restaurant is always kept very clean, and every table is spotless. The management makes sure that customers have a top-notch experience, and the atmosphere is calm and welcoming, not like typical fast-food places. Parking is available on HWY 181 SOUTHBOUND, with plenty of space and accessible tables for wheelchairs. All chicken options, including tenders, fried chicken, and roasted, are delicious. The Floresville location is a favorite, with all dishes served perfectly. The rolls are never over-baked, and sides are prepared with excellence. The half-shade patio is a great place to dine with dogs. Free soft serve vanilla ice cream is available when dining in, adding to the enjoyable experience.
