“Went to Brenham with a different lunch plan in mind but the BBQ smelled so good we stopped by. We ordered a loaded baked potato, chopped brisket sandwich, and pulled pork sandwich. the meat was perfect, some of the best pulled pork I've tasted. my son loved the wagon wheels! the potato had a generous helping of all the fixings and was cooked perfectly. Not only was the food great but the price was lower than I expected. highly recommend!”

“I drove through town on the way to visit my brother and needed some coffee. The girls there were so sweet. They made me an iced white chocolate mocha latte with cold foam and let me tell you it was delicious. I wish yall were in San Antonio so I could go every day. But I will definitely stop by every time I come through Nixon. Would definitely recommend. I’d love to try their food next time as well.”

“stopped here with my 2 kids on our 6 hour drive home food was Awesome but wait staff was rude, she took our order,brought our food then never checked on us or asked if we needed anything or if everything was fine brought us the check I asked for to go containers when she brought them I said Thank You and she just turned around and went back to the table with her boyfriend and im assuming friends or family. waitress really needs to work on her communication skills and work ethic”

“I have been all over Texas eating in small town restaurants. Taco Ranch is by far the best food and service personale.I have found it to be Absolutely out of bounds.5 star restaurant in a small town setting.”

“We were traveling thru town and decided to grab some sandwiches. After ready some ‘local’ reviews - I got a few laughs. To start, just remember that Subway is a sandwich shop and that’s what anyone who stops in really wants to know. As for the staff - the two young ‘sandwich artists’ did a fine job. Our sandwiches were made to order with a pleasant demeanor. I didn’t see any staff issues. Like with all subways that we have stopped in at across Texas - you do grab your own bag of chips from the selection they have laid out right in front and you get to fill your own drink or pull it out of the beverage cooler. What’s the big deal? Try looking at it positively - if you decide to change up the flavor of your drink - you can, hassle free. No issues - and they were sweet enough to help me find the local park so we could sit outside under a tree and enjoy our subs & drinks!”
