We discovered this awesome place today! We got a cappuccino and a latte, and both were excellent. The flavors were really well balanced, and we loved everything we tried. The barista was super friendly and took the time to tell us all about the coffee. If you’re passing through, you definitely have to stop here! This will absolutely be our go-to stop whenever we’re on this route.
On our way back home from port aransas to dallas , I was craving a coffee and decided to go here based on the reviews. I got the coconut blondie with cold foam it was pretty good. My husband got the cinnamon roll it was decent , could be more moist the bread was more on the dry side. Would definitely stop by for the coffee again when we come back ! Also pretty nice that they have a drive thru.
We are on a long drive from coming from corpus and this place is the perfect spot for a morning pick me up. One of the only places open for an early trip. Upon ordering my oldest son got sick and the man in the drive thru jumped to our aid. Customer service went above and beyond. Based on the reviews, Diamond R Coffee Co. is a cute little gem off the highway. The coffee is delicious, with popular options including the iced white chocolate mocha latte with cold foam, the coconut blonde, and the iced salted churro. The food is also highly recommended, with the sausage biscuit being so good and the banana muffin being the best. There are plenty of food options, and the biscuit sandwiches are amazing. The staff is so sweet and provides great customer service, greeting customers with a smile and getting orders out quick. This spot is a great find for anyone passing through Nixon and is a reason to make a long drive again.
