“Awesome atmosphere and great food and the best coffee in this area. The building used to be a bank. They have old antique chairs and great coffee. They also have blue bell ice cream for floats. The sandwiches and desserts there are good. The service is great and just a very cool, relaxed atmosphere if you like old architecture and chairs, etc.”
“Greatest bar of all time. Best BBQ in the area. The mac n cheese bowl is truly the greatest culinary experience this side of the Atlantic. Perfectly cooked mac and brisket. Do yourself the favor and stop by.”
“Great little taco stop just off Hwy 78. I had the Carne Asada Street Taco Plate and it was awesome. The salsas are spicy (just the way like it), especially the habanero verde one.”
“Can't believe this place only had 4 reviews prior to mine. The food here was delicious, everything we ordered hit the spot! Also very good portion size plates.”
“Was out there recently visiting a friend to say country setting is an understatement but the people at the restaurant were very very nice very pleasant and the food was pretty okay I didn't care too much for the Barbacoa call but the quesadillas and the El pastor was good and their tea is pretty awesome ”
“I ordered the combination plate with 2 enchiladas cheese. It was so delicious I clean the plate. Salsas were so good too. Found a hidden gem will be come back soon again.”
“This is a delicious hidden treasure. Small country diner in the middle of nowhere but the food is absolutely amazing. The chicken fried steak was unbelievable and so tender you could cut with a fork. The sides were fresh and on point. And the homemade coconut cream pie will make your knees buckle its so good. I don't care where you are, it's worth the drive. Oh and it's clean and the staff are hella nice.”
“We came for dinner on a busy Wednesday evening. The hosted was very friendly and greeted us right away. We were sat right away, greeted by our server, and everything was great! Food, service, and overall experience was excellent! Carolyn was fantastic and did a great job!”
“My family and I had a great time at Muck & Fuss in New Braunfels, TX. The food, service, and ambiance were all delightful. Jo, one of the co-owners, welcomed us and made our visit fun. Highly recommended!”
“EXCELLENT! Diamond in the rough! It's literally one of the best restaurants we have been to in Texas. Been ages since we had such high quality steak at a restaurant. I had the braised beef with Risotto and it was so yummy, such a great blend of flavors.Bread pudding is phenomenal! Our service Kate was lovely too.Look forward to coming back soon.”
“What a lovely little K-Café situated in a quiet part of Cibolo! We were really missing Korean café vibes since we left Humphreys, and this place hit the spot tenfold. The owners are super sweet and friendly, and the drinks are top notch! Highly recommend the JollyPong Smoothie if you're a cereal lover like me. Would definitely return to try the rest of the menu!”
“I ain't saying anything, I'm just gonna let the good food do all the talking. Wished they sold their potato salad in to go containers. It is absolutely worth it if you want great ”
“Huisache Grill is a charming restaurant tucked off the main road. The building is a beautiful repurposed vintage structure along the railroad tracks. From appetizer to dessert, the food was absolutely delicious! The service was prompt, not pushy, and each course was timed perfectly. Even though we arrived later in the evening, we didn't feel rushed in the least. I would rate everything about the Huisache Grill a 15 on a scale from one to ten! Oh! The fried brie is to die for!! ??”
“The food was amazing and very fresh. Service equally good. It's not an easy place to find (it's literally behind LOL Liquor and Google Maps gets it wrong). The parking is limited and the restaurant is pretty small BUT did I mention the sushi? - FREAKING AMAZING and worth the rest.”
“They are not kidding about having the best bbq! The people working there are super personable and the brisket will ruin you for eating anywhere else. This was absolutely the best brisket sandwich I’ve ever had.”
“I love this place. It’s my favorite after church brunch location. The creme brulee latte, belgium waffle, and french toast are my favorites. Don’t snooze on the chimi sandwich, it’s also tasty. My latest visit on Easter I got their blueberry pancake special. It was almost too pretty to eat.”
“Really love this place but lately it seems they are struggling to maintain their regular hours of operation. Perhaps its a staffing issue like so many restaurants right now. It would be nice if they would update their situation via Facebook or put a recording on their phone. I'm praying for them to overcome, I would love to give them some business if they would open.”
“Very good german food and beer (there are no hamburgers). we had the Schnitzel with two different sauces (mushroom and sour cream) and really liked it! A little hard to find but once you get to the parking lot, it's the white building at the front”
“Try this place! We drove 46 miles to get here because we love the chicken. Such great grilled chicken. Recommend eating inside so you can take advantage of the great free toppings such as fresh cut limes, pico de gallo, cabbage with jalapeños, pickled onions with a habanero for a little kick. The packaging is a bit strange, but traditional.”
“This place is fantastic! The staff are super friendly and attentive. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and were sat at a table promptly. Our server Jessica was wonderful. The atmosphere was such a vibe. Good music playing overhead but not too loud. TVs throughout the restaurant playing things like Bob Ross, Sports and animal shows. The lighting is spot on. Not too dim where you need to pull out a flashlight to read the menu but not to bright that you need to squint. The food is delicious and fresh. Every thing I ate, from the chicken nuggets to the sushi rolls, was incredible. The menu is very diverse which is nice when for “all you can eat” because you can get a little of everything. The portion sizes are perfect. A lot of other places that do “all you can eat” serve super small portions. These were just the right size! This was my first time here and I will definitely be back! 10/10 highly recommend and worth every penny!”
“JOLT is the best coffee/energy drink spot in New Braunfels! Lots of awesome options. Customer service is amazing! Treat yourself and check it out. You”ll like it!”
“Honestly, I love this place! It came here for the first time last week and didn’t have a reservation. I waited at the bar until a table open. Their drinks are great, but my goodness their food! I got the lobster rolls and the crabcakes. I had to add some salt, but I had salt to everything. But I was in heaven!I came back this week and got the brown butter, curry shrimp, and the Aji tuna nachos! I’m in heaven. The jazz music was awesome. The service staff was incredible. And the food top notch! I’m not sure why I would go anywhere else! What a great way to spend a Friday evening!Oh, and the edamame. Amazing!”
“I was very pleased with the food, service, and atmosphere. The workers very nice and helpful, the rib tips were amazing good, the pulled pork plate was delicious, the sides are good as well. I almost forgot to add that the pulled chicken potato was good.Parking: The parking was located across the street and it wasn’t a lot of parking.”
“We like to come here for a little pick me up every now and then. Every time we've gone, it's been good. I like that they have virgin drinks so we can get something for the kids.”
“This place is really, really good! We had the oxtails, jerk chicken, beans & rice, cabbage, and fried plantains, and ALL of it was excellent. The service was also great - the woman who served us was cheery and helpful. We'll definitely be back!”
“First time coming here, the atmosphere and and the people were so friendly. I love that theirs local food trucks there aswell... 10 out of 10 I will be bringing all of my family ”
“Had a little bit of a wait, but that's because the place is great, and people enjoy the food, service, and atmosphere. We came for breakfast, and I had the Migas, which was delicious. Susan had the Hunger Texan, which was way more than she could eat. She said the home fries were great. We got cinnamon rolls with the buttercream icing, fresh baked, and they may be the best cinnamon rolls I've ever tasted. The staff was excellent, and the owner was very involved with customers. We talked with him a bit, discovered he had once lived in our area, and talked about his change over to the restaurant business. Highly recommended!”
“I would have loved to have shared photos of my food, but it was way too scrumptious to stop and take a Pic. Sorry, not sorry. We got here early bit stayed awhile to enjoy 3 orders of shareable and plenty of yummy wine. They had a really diverse selection, ready to make recommendations and extremely accommodating if for some reason they didn't have something available. You will not be disappointed if you want a lively, flavorful and relaxed night with pleasant company. Hubby and I will be returning and finding friends at some point in our busy lives so we can enjoy this place again.”
“We go several times a week.Drive for an hour to get there. The beer is always good. Large variety to choose. On location it's like 2 craft beer locations. Live bands several times a week.Last visit was my first disappointment. The selections are not the same from the front and the back.My favorites are in the front. It was closed and now for the year it is closed during the week and only open on weekends. Not sure about evening hours. Food is good but limited selection. I'll still be a regular customer. My price per person is based on a few beers and the food.”
“Our first time ever Axe throwing and we learned a lot from Johnnie who wad out assigned instructor. He had several games for our group to play that taught us team work, trained us in aiming, home in our unnatural throwing skill, made the competitive side come out, and was so great we want to come back even though we stay in Kingwood, TX.The establishment is very clean and organized.Several different table games to play for free that I have never played before. The owner takes pride in his place of business as well as making sure you feel safe and like everyone is family there. Many drinks to choose from as well as variety of food trucks that come by.Parking: Lots of parking in the front as long as people park right.Kid-friendliness: Arcade games are free as well as cornhole and pool table.Everyone there is so kind to kids of all ages.”
