“The restaurant is simply first class, white linen tables decorated with roses and the entire restaurant presented a beautiful ambience. The food was superb. Service equally fantastic, We had crab cakes for an appetizer and being from New Orleans I was skeptical that it would be a good choice but boy was I surprised with how well it was prepared. Just excellent. The blackened halibut was lightly blackened and prepared perfectly. A must if you eat there. Likewise, the snapper was delicious. Most desserts were made in house and all will more than satisfy the sweetest tooth. Overall on a 0-10 scale I give the Creeks a 12! It's definitely now my favorite restaurant in Boerne and the surrounding areas. Also you can eat outside on a beautifully decked out area overlooking water. What more can you ask for? Oh, a good musician? They had that as well!”
“The chicken for my online order was accidental served to an inhouse customer. They immediately communicated the fact and their regrets. Then proceeded to make it right! Exceptional!”
“I had already been to Boerne Taco House with my boy and enjoyed the tacos but I have to say I was BLOWN away with the Pollo Asado! Super juicy and tasty!! I highly recommend this plate.”
“First time here and it's definitely a little bit off the main road and hidden pretty well actually but... Don't sleep on this place! This is the best chicken fried steak that I've found in a minute, so tender i can cut it with a fork. The potatoes are fresh and have chunks of skin in them and the breaded okra is absolutely next level. Even the green beans are fresh and crisp. Make the drive! Amazing food! And the service was just as good as the food. I can't wait to go back and try the catfish and I also heard their burgers are fantastic as well. (The price is also very reasonable for the food received, this dinner was $17)”
“Great Place! We've stopped here for years while riding motorcycles in the Hill Country. So sad it burned down recently. Praying for a Phoenix to rise from the ashes and keep Hillbillyz going for many more years!”

“Amazing Hill Country location. Fantastic food in a rustic setting. You can dine al fresco, or inside. Very fresh, locally sourced choices prepared by a talented chef. Impressive wine list. Perfect for special occasions. Upscale food, with a casual feel.”
“Love this place!!! Everyone is extremely nice and helpful on the selection. They have the best Sake and wine options!! We love thier flights and very giving on pours. This is a mistake go to place for anyone visiting Boerne !! Next time we come here we want to try the food ...”
“We came upon this spot by accident, and now it's our go-to spot when we are in town from the ranch. Great staff! Delicious food!! And it's a cozy casual atmosphere for the whole family to enjoy. High recommend. Someone give these guys a "Best in Boerne" award now.”

“We asked at the hotel front desk where we could get good, local Mexican food, and were told we should visit Las Guitarras. We were pleasantly surprised to walk in and were greeted by the host, and the owner, escorted to our table, and were shortly brought chips and salsa and water while we perused the menu. The building interior appeared warm and inviting with a large 3 storey wall behind me and about a third of the tables occupied by other customers. We ordered drinks and our meals after being undecided because of the large selection, which we aren't used to seeing. Very pleased with the meal and some guidance offered by Aden, our server. Before we left for the evening, Fernando, the owner we'd met upon arrival, came by to ensure we were happy with our visit, which we assured him that we were leaving with full bellies. BTW, we can recommend the Chile relleno, and the Tri color enchiladas and the queso dip appetizer.”
“I’ll have to remember to snap pictures next time, but it was so delicious everyone gobbled it all up before I could! We ordered to go because they were super busy, but the service was great and my order was ready quickly and was just as ordered. This is the second time I’m ordered from them and been impressed both times. Definitely a must try in Boerne!!!! If you haven’t been go check it out! Thanks for the great food and service you guys!”

“Small local chain (3 locations?), serving really good tacos and various plates. Almost always busy, but the service is fast. There's a small army of employees in an open air kitchen and the orders fly out quickly. Highly recommended.”
“It's Christmas Eve, my wife and I went out for a drive and ended up at Free Roam Brewing Company, first off, Boerne TX is a great little spot to visit. The place was busy, football on all the TVs and plenty of seating inside and out. Nothing in terms of food here, good thing we stopped at Buc-ees on the way in. Chips and cookies were available, we stopped for the beers. Service was great, they stayed busy the entire time we were here. Good beer selection, and a friendly crowd. This place is a long way from home but honestly worth the trip.”
“I got a complimentary cookie to try out and it was warm and just perfect !They also have crystals and other items tor sale .I was picking up a door dash order for one of their costumers , but I have a feeling they treat everyone with the same respect and make them feel just as welcomed as I felt . Thank you so much-Verna Jean”
“I go to lulus about twice a week and am on my 3rd punch card. They have amazing service and great tea. I get the taro smoothie with cheese foam and boba and it is to dieeee for.”
“Great food, I love spicey food but you can get x10 spice!!!!! But you can get it with out it! The service is great and they are all nice. The food is delicious. Definately a 10+++. Try it and if you feel adventurous go for the heat. Big portions too.”

“The staff is very friendly, efficient and fast. They listen to any requests you might have. I love that if your dog is in the car with you they will always give you a doggie treat. Such a special touch! It is obvious that their staff is well trained on great customer service.Kid-friendliness: Kids always feel welcome.”
“We usually stop in here on the way back and forth from fredericksburg for breakfast. The baked goods and coffee are excellent. I particularly enjoy the blueberry muffin and usually will get a cookie to go. Nice ambience.”
“Stopped in with my son who loves bubble tea, however to our surprise there was no tapioca boba available. The employee told us that it would be a 20 minute wait if we wanted the tapioca boba which is really disappointing....one would think that a boba tea shop shouldn't run out of their main menu item's especially at 11am. We opted for tea with popping boba instead, which was very good. The only other issue was that when the employee handed us our drinks she wasn't sure which tea was which. We thankfully figured it out after tasting them but this could be an issue for someone with food allergies. We will give this place another shot, hopefully they will have the tapioca boba available at that time.”

“Tremendous! It's the Texan Starbucks! very good room, very warm place, lots of good merchandising, and best of all, the coffee is excellent!!!! very highly recommended.”
“This is a great place for Italian food! The staff is great however the place needs a remodel but I will not eat anywhere else! Ribeye is tender so I get to have both Italian and steak!”
“Well, it was time for another luncheon with my retired teachers group. This year I let 12 of the retirees pick the place for a month. One of them picked Richter's, so that's where we went for February. My wife had been there with her group before and gave it her seal of approval. I had heard that there was plenty of parking. However, the lot right next to the restaurant is now a paid lot. It cost me $6.35 to park for three hours. The restaurant supposedly gives a discount for parking, but I didn't ask for it, so I don't know. I was with a lady who can't walk far, and would rather pay the money than park for free at the courthouse and hike over. Still, I wish the website had something about the paid lot. The other surprise for us was that on Tuesdays, they have a smaller "selective menu". It was still a nice menu, but everything I had planned on when I studied the menu on the website was missing. I ended up settling for a Butternut Power Green Salad that turned out to be AMAZING. The textures of the pepitos and the dried pomegranate seeds blew me away. The dressing was tart and tangy. I asked the server for an extra little cup of it, and it was just the right touch. I ordered a chicken thigh for my protein. It was served on its own little cast iron skillet. It was nicely cooked and tastily seasoned. They had a selection of desserts including several flavors of boozy ice cream. I opted for the Chocolate Mousse Brownie. It was very good. I wish it had been brought to room temperature before being served. It would have been even better. There were 13 of us at the table, so there were lots of different orders. Everyone liked their meals. Two people never got served. When our wonderful server, Kayla, noticed the problem, she let both of them have their meals on the house. I don't know what the mistake was that left them foodless. Their food came out pretty fast after that. The venue is large. It feels like it is in an old factory or something. I really liked it. It is on the second floor of the building and has a special big-city-loft coolness to it. There is a beautiful old-style bar up front. I wish I had ordered a margarita. I saw a server carrying a tray full of them, and they looked great. I would like to go back some time with my wife to try the "real" menu. This is really a special date night type of place in my opinion.”
“Very nice place to hangout. The food was average. I wasn't impressed. I had the shrimp soup and it was very salty. I also had the birria tacos and nothing great to say about them either. The beer and wine selections is decent. For the most part the place is great for atmosphere and food just to take your hunger away. Food is okay. The service was good. You order when you come in the. You take your number and sit. The guys was friendly and helpful at the register. I'll come back again.”

“Ate lunch at this restaurant after a round of golf. The chicken sandwich and vegetable beef soup were both outstanding! This restaurant is nice and has high standards so come accordingly. Service was very pleasant and helpful as well. Highly recommended!”
“We visited Peggy's for brunch while in from NC and we absolutely loved it! The service was amazing! I had the Shrimp and Grits and my partner had the BBQ eggs Benedict! Both were delish! We loved the ambiance and decor! Their drinks rock too!”
“We loved this place. I loved how you can sit inside, on the patio, or on the tables in the back. And it's family friendly. The food was so good. We're definitely going back so we can sit outside when it warms up more.”
“The chef and waitress went out of their way to accommodate our to go order. Food was amazing and fresh! Can't wait to dine in!Dietary restrictions: I was able to make changes on ingredients based on my dietary preferences.”
“Vegetarian options: My meal was vegetarian tho I am not.Parking: Plenty of close parkingKid-friendliness: My husband hates pork chop and egg breakfast which was well prepared. I’m not much for breakfast so I had chili relleno. Besides being the best I’ve ever had I was able to order it at breakfast time. Breakfast is also served all day. It wasn’t a fancy just a comfortable place with locals gathering.”
“We had a great time at Botero! Loved the two guys playing boleros on their guitars. Staff was friendly and attentive! Highly recommend this for a fun date night!”

“We really like this place. The beer we had was tasty but I noticed the selection was dwindling. The sandwiches are always good. I had the Italian sandwich but I got a bite of the BLT and was definitely jealous. The bacon wasn’t stacked high but man it was good.If I could wish for a few things it might be appetizers (Brussel sprouts), a full bar (Boerne needs more of these), and access to the balcony, just saying.”

“Congratulations and a huge thank you to Owner Don Kretz, Dave and the crew for giving Boerne area a fabulous, family friendly pub.28 Songs is a real destination wirh THE best selection of beers anywhere. The kitchen too, turns out excellent no-substitutes food. This is an out-of-park homerun. And with the many large screens streaming sports and more, you can actually have a conversation not having to compete as in other places that push screamin electronic g audio levels.Cheers ya'll.Art Humphries”
“I had one called ‘Spa Day’ and ever since I always make sure to walk by and see if they are serving this one. It’s the best ice cream I’ve had. I hardly do reviews but this place deserves all the stars!!”
“I can only recommend the cinnamon roll here but that's because it's so big we couldn't get anything else. It's nice and crispy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside. I have to give them a lot of props because they use a vanilla cream frosting instead of cream cheese, very tasty :) But based on the cinnamon roll we will be going back to try other items here.”
“Excellent breakfast. I’m from Texas and was looking for TexMex. Instead, I had the El Salvadoran breakfast #5. Fried plantains with cream, eggs, alvacado, refried beans and thick corn tortillas. It was amazing. The coffee is also unique and delicious. The service was great and the food came out fast! I highly recommend.”

“I never knew that frozen adult beverages could be so good. I don't want to go crazy and call them "artisan" but they take what they do seriously and are happy to explain why they have a better product. No syrups here; just real fruit purées and flavors to make a better Rita / Daiquiri / Pina Colada / etc... I always make a point of partaking as often as reasonable when I'm in town. Thanks for setting the "gold standard" by which all other frozen drinks are measured for me. Cheers!”
“This is a great place for Italian food! The staff is great however the place needs a remodel but I will not eat anywhere else! Ribeye is tender so I get to have both Italian and steak!”
“Split the reuben (hot) with my guest, and both got a cup of broccoli cheese soup. Soup was excellent, and I liked it was served in a mug. Flavors of the reuben were all there, but we didn't care for the bread sub style. Was still very good! I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area and excited to try a different sandwich!”
“Got the fajita taco, the Mague's special; husband tried the picadillo and thr chorizo & egg; the tortillas were so soft and fluffy and the filling was fantastic!”

“This is a neat little place. Just not very convenient as far as seating and parking. We stopped here for an omelette on the way back from picking up a car and the food was definitely tasty. It's basically a storefront that was turned into a makeshift restaurant. Very tight fit when it's busy and the parking was an absolute nightmare. The food is good but in my personal opinion not really worth the hassle it takes to get it.”
“Best BBQ in Boerne. Is there more to say? Generous portions. Great prices! You could go get a prime rib on main street and pay twice as much for half the quality. The prime rib is to die for, but really everything is amazing here. They don't know how to do mediocre. One last thing. The kids they have working there are amazing. Great customer service and communication. Love Fritz'sVegetarian options: The baked potatoes are a full meal, without meat. Lots of good side options too. And the prices are very reasonable at about $10 for a full vegetarian meal.Kid-friendliness: Great atmosphere. Very down to earth. Big roll of heavy duty paper towels at every table. And roomy booths.”
“Food order was correct and ready when I got there. The restaurant seemed clean the staff was polite. The pizza was good, the meatballs were better, and the smoked wings were outstanding.”
“Love, love, love, the Dodging Duck! My wife and I have been coming here since the time it first opened its doors. It is a bi-annual pilgrimage for me when I make it home to SAT every 6 months of so from my work overseas. We'll see you all for our pretzel and beers and dinner in April!”
“Went to the Smoothie King in Boerne Texas. Since it was my first time I needed help with a special drink because I am a diabetic. The girls were so so helpful and very very friendly. KUDOS!!”

“We stopped here a bit late but with over an hour before closing. The food was very good. However, the serving size was small for a 2 platter. The staff was neither rude nor friendly, but it was late. The restaurant was clean.”
“They forgot a sandwich but when called offered to deliver or refund us. When asked for delivery, they were quick! Great customer service!! Kudo’s to the manager.”
“This is a great place that serves great food.It has always been fresh, clean great fresh food items every time.We love this place since they opened in the 1980's. From breakfast, lunch to quick dinner's..It's good!”

“This is such a fun stop while on the road. All the walls are covered in plates and there are so many interesting ones. We had breakfast. The service was good and fast. The food was stellar. We tried the chicken fried steak combo and malted waffle combo. Both dishes we’d have again. The waffle was crisp and the malted flavor added dimension. The chicken fried steak was tender and came with a tasty sausage gravy. Definitely a must try!”
“The pizza was great! No complaints about that. Menu looks awesome, you want everything on it. It's a busy place that seems very popular. Food took a while to come out. The salads come flying out but everyone's pizzas took a while.”

“One of the best coffee shops around. The coffee, the atmosphere, and the food are all incredible. The service is wonderful and the space is beautiful. It is one of my favorite places to sit and work or talk with friends. Very grateful for The Cup. It is truly a gem in the hill country.”
“This is a food truck located in the Fairfield Inn parking lot. The breakfast tacos are huge and delicious. The street tacos are amazing. The chicharone tacos are a must. They also have Mexican sodas.”
“We had a great time seeing Mario Flores and Diamond Rio. Venue is really nice, bathrooms clean, bartenders were very friendly. We did purchase a 6 top which were "VIP" but never once did a waitress come to our table. We had to get our own drinks. So not sure what the VIP status was about?! ?? We would go again but certainly not pay for VIP table.”
“This is the kind of place that gives food trucks a good name. The food was fresh, tasty, not expensive. Some outdoor seating, some shaded, is available. I had an everything-bagel grilled cheese, not a bagel, but panini with everything-bagel seasoning, melted cheese, bacon, tomatoes, and other goodies. All served with a smile.”
“This tavern is a diamond in the rough. It has an extremely large outdoor area with a nice play area for kids. The menu has a good selection of appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, wings (bone-in, boneless, and tenders), pizzas, salads, even a kids menu. It has a very laid back vibe and a good selection of beer, booze, and wine. Definitely going back!”

“Hadn't been here since new owners took over years ago. Very pleased with experience. Party of 5 with Fried Rice Combo, Sesame Chicken, Moo Goo Gai Pan, Hunan Pork and Chicken. All rated very good. Fried Rice is one of best we've had in years. Lite background music and some Chinese shows on the TV screens added to experience. Service was fine and no issues arose. Everybody had enough leftovers for another meal. Excellent value for the price. Will certainly be back.”
“Great place for brunch, the food is very delicious. Service is good if they go on a wait be prepared to wait w/ your server also. The ambiance is great, they even have a store in the back by the bathrooms that sells women clothing and baby items.”
“Food was fast and very tasty. My lips are still on fire from the red hot sauce, or maybe the jalapenos that come standard in the tacos. I am thinking highly of this little place today and maybe tomorrow also.....”
“~This place is so cute! My son loved the variety of candy! The ice cream was delicious. The 2 young gals working could of been a little friendlier. Other than that, we enjoyed this unique little dessert shop.”

“So I have eaten brunch here a number of times with friends over several years at 259 Brantley's Bistro. I've tried a bunch of items off the brunch menu over the years and have enjoyed them all. This time I went big as it is quite a full plate and one I could not finish. But had the leftovers for lunch the following day. The wild boar schnitzel was nice and crisp with no grease taste to it. The bacon was delicious and the eggs were perfect...not too hard, not toò runny. The potatoes added a nice bite to the meal. The tiny green beans were nice but I didn't get an almondine flavor. But that might be me not the dish. As I have been on antibiotics. All in all well worth the cost of the meal. In fact I had plans to stop at another place for dessert but I was just too full. Now I ordered a frozen margarita for the first time there... I got a small. It was a very generous pour. In fact I drank little of it as I knew I was driving back to San Antono. Again unusual for me but you might want to take a driver when you try it the first time. We had a group of about 16 and the nook was set aside for us. We could not have had better service...two waitstaff, one for each side of the room. Our waitresses was very nice. Patient with people trying to decide what to eat. So many goodies to chose from, never rushing anyone, answering questions with a smile. My long table seemed very satisfied with their meals. Crab cakes, three sets of eggs benedict, salad with added shrimp, another wild boar plate and I missed one or two. The consensus of the bottom of the table was you had to try the pitcher of fresh berry lemonade and it did look wonderful! It is a bit of a drive from my part of San Antonio but when not rushing I used to take Babcock to Boerne Stage Rd with turns into Scenic loop rd and eventually crosses I10. Which was a nice drive...I'm afraid it might be built up with houses now.”
“Just had dinner with Cheyenne as our server and had a fantastic time!! Enjoyed the deviled eggs, baked pimento cheese, quail, and fried steak. All delicious and highly recommend for the great food and wonderful service!!”

“The food is good but if you're expecting hot you better go for the four flames. The regular sauces are sweet and hot but more sweet than Heat! The night we went they're playing trivia which was quite loud and a little bit irritating. People writing down answers on papers and then darting through the restaurant to turn it into try and win, quite distracting...”

“The day before my birthday, my wife wanted to take me to lunch. She has been trying to find a restaurant in the Boerne area to try and we found this place called Gather Boerne. We pass it every time we go to Boerne so this was a great opportunity to experience their food and service. They did not disappoint. The food is excellent, period. You order your food at the counter, pay, and then they will bring the food to you where you choose to sit. We wanted to sit outside but even though it was September, it was still pretty warm, so we choose to sit inside. It was a Friday lunch crowd and boy, it was pretty loud in there. There was a table full of ladies and they were catching up on the news, and this being an old house remodeled as an eatery, the noise is reflected instead of absorbed. It was loud! I wanted to move outside but the food came and we had to concentrate on the food. The menu choices may be limited but oh, was the food tasty and delicious! I would have licked the plate but I decided not to. The beef was so tender, moist, and absolutely delicious. It came as a sandwich but I ate it like a meal. The soggy bread soaked up the deliciousness and it was part of the fun! After lunch, we walked around a bit and took a few pictures. The area is picturesque and had picnic tables under tall trees. It looks very inviting. I'd go back there again but we will sit outside next time.”

“I absolutely love this place! All of the service is absolutely phenomenal! The food is absolutely delicious every time! I've been here multiple times and there has never been a bad experience. 10 out of 10 would ”
“Small local chain (3 locations?), serving really good tacos and various plates. Almost always busy, but the service is fast. There's a small army of employees in an open air kitchen and the orders fly out quickly. Highly recommended.”

“The food was good, but the service took a little bit to get our food out. Ussually, they are faster. It seems like they were short staffed, and they had an unusually large lunch crowd.”
