“Sunny’s was an amazing brunch spot and absolutely worth the wait. You cant book reservations more than 2days out and no less than 3hrs prior. We waited about 1.5 hours, but they use a text system, so we were able to explore Boerne and made it back to the restaurant within 6 minutes of being notified…just make sure you actually reply back to their text saying you are coming. All of the food was incredible. Our table shared the truffle fries as an appetizer, and they were delicious. For mains: Le French Toast features thick cuts of toast and was very good, though I’d recommend ordering a side of bacon or eggs to make it more filling. MAIN CHICK savory crepe was a 10/10! Harvest bowl was also great, but make sure to tell your server how you like your eggs cooked. If you don’t specify, they come out over-easy/sunny-side up. I personally prefer a well-fried egg. Overall, fantastic food, great system for handling the wait, and a must-visit brunch spot in Boerne.”

I was a bit skeptical about “to go” filets, especially since we live miles away, but that’s what I wanted so that’s what we got. Not only was the meal absolutely delicious, they wrapped everything so it was all still hot when we got home. Now I have to add yet another favorite to my list of Hungry Horse meals… thanks guys!!! The 1776 is another fan favorite, a nod to American history in every sip. My personal go-to is still the Betsy Ross—its classic, bold flavor is absolutely my favorite!
The service here is consistently superb. The baristas are not only friendly and efficient but are also knowledgeable about their products. They're always ready with a smile and a recommendation.

“Still enjoy N's but something was off tonight. Ordered our Pad Thai like we normally do. Combo with Beef, Chicken and Pork. Barely any chicken, flavor didn't really open up and was very single note. No spice at all. No lime served with it and the noodles didn't seem like Pad Thai style noodles. No sprouts. It really tasted like a completely different dish. It was tasty but just disappointing when I was expecting the great pad Thai I'm used to. Is someone new in the kitchen? Did they get the order wrong somehow? I asked the young lady at the register and she says she's certain that this is definitely their Pad Thai. I'm very confused.”

They serve amazing teas, energy drinks, coffee, and little protein waffles that hit the spot. What really stood out to me is their water—they explained the Kangen system they use, which is a $6,000 machine that produces 9.5 pH water full of minerals. They even make all their drinks and ice with it, and you can really taste the difference. 💧 Everything is made with high-quality Herbalife products, and it all tastes so good. The staff is super friendly, and the owners are there most of the time, which really adds a personal touch. This place is awesome in every way if you know what great tex mex and fantastic service is supposed to look like. I judge by the simplest of terms in Tex Mex food as it's a simple cuisine that relies on the right combination of spices and materials to be both authentic and delicious. We have that nailed here. So for all the tourists looking to be seen in the fancy place dumping loads of money on overpriced and not so good food, keep going down to that place on Main in San Antonio. Otherwise to see what it feels like to be treated and fed like family, go to El Rio in Boerne. Also, don't order more than one margarita without a driver. They go down like Kool aide and are to die for. I will drive across San Antonio and pass all the other places for a plate of enchiladas in Boerne. Atmosphere is authentic and the family run feel is as real as it gets. Don't expect mariachi singers unless you bring a band. This is the real deal. So five stars isn't enough, but they get it easily.”

“Stopped by around 3pm on a Monday. Mr. Cleary was so friendly and I admire his devotion, particularly to the in-house ice cream making. The chocolate banana ice cream was delicious - I am always on the hunt for ice cream with banana flavor. There were also the sour mini Krabby Patties I used to love getting on Halloween - those aren’t out in the wild much anymore! If things seem overpriced, it’s probably because Boerne is a smaller town and may not the easiest to do business in.”

“My husband and I chose to stay at the Bevy for our anniversary. Phillip(GM) and staff went above and beyond to make us feel special. We did have an unfortunate interaction with the evening bartender where he scolded us for having a bottle of wine at the pool that the GM provided us. Then, at dinner while feeding my toddler he screamed across the bar to me, “no outside food ma’am!” I moved my child and fed her elsewhere. The room was lovely and we will be back and won’t be sitting at the bar.”

“We love Marco’s pizza but I’ve noticed in the last year this location stopped caring about what they’re putting out, providing the orders by the quoted time, and getting the orders right. I hoped to message them privately about our constant issues, however that option doesn’t appear to be available. Every time we order a flavored crust, it’s forgotten. Okay fine, no big deal. My husband is lactose intolerant and orders pizza without cheese, I can’t name how many times they’ve screwed up his pizza. Tonight we ordered an “all meat” with no cheese and added pineapple. We got home and they gave us a pizza with sauce and pineapple only, NO meat! We order about 3x a month but I’m so tired of supporting them when they don’t care enough to get orders right and on time.”

It was horrible, I order the onion and tomatoes omelet and hardly any tomatoes but big pieces of onions in it. Bacon that had seen better days, and it didn't taste good. “As someone who’s from SETX it’s hard to find food in the area that is close to homes. HOWEVER longhorn did it. Longhorn seasoned all their food and I’d 10/10 recommend this. I’d go even as far as this is the best restaurant in Boerne. Everyone was really friendly, food amazing, UNBEATABLE prices, and they also have arcade games. We got the queso (10/10 for sure), chicken fried steak (HUGE portion 2 people could share tbh), with green beans and Mac n cheese. This is definitely a need to see place.”
