“Visited friends and was super excited to see this new addition in Boerne. Amazing food! The chips and salsa were my favorite and I would go just for that. I typically don't enjoy salsa at any Mexican restaurant but the flavor here is amazing. I was struggling to make a decision on what to order and the cashier talked me into enchiladas verdes which I would have again. Order at the counter, take your number and wait for your food. Enjoy!“
“Wow! These tacos are fantastic. We’ve gone for breakfast three times and my favorite is the Sean. We have gone during the weekdays, when therethere was no line all, but I’ve heard on the weekends it’s more crowded, but you can order online ahead of time. The hot sauce is also delicious and the tortillas were so fresh! We’re looking forward to going back on the weekends when they serve tamales.“
“I work right down the highway from Chilito's and pass by it every day. I never knew the glorious food I was missing out on. If you're ever driving through Boerne be sure to stop by. I do recommend their burrito and this isn't on their menu but you can ask for a tamale bowl which is just 4 tamales on a bed of their rice (which btw is divine) and refried beans topped with a cheese sauce. It's a simple dish but their poblano sauce (kika sauce) just brings it to another level. They also sell their tamales by the dozen... to take home. I'm definitely stopping by on my lunch break more often.“
“This restaurant is nice with a great atmosphere. The food was really good. As for the service, it was excellent. We had a great waitress who was knowledgeable about the food items. My friend was excited about their fried plantains. While I'm not a big fan, she loved them. ❤️“
“This tavern is a diamond in the rough. It has an extremely large outdoor area with a nice play area for kids. The menu has a good selection of appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, wings (bone-in, boneless, and tenders), pizzas, salads, even a kids menu. It has a very laid back vibe and a good selection of beer, booze, and wine. Definitely going back!“
“Believe it or not this place has an AMAZING CHICKEN FRIED STEAK! It is huge. Very flavorful. My only comment is that I prefer mashed potatoes with mine, not fries. But seriously, hands down one of the best I've ever eaten.My husband has a compromised immune system and we asked to be seated away from people. They were so accommodating and very kind.“
“Stopped by today (Saturday) for lunch and ordered the asada and chorizo torta with charro beans and white rice along with the crispy cheese taco. The torta was very good, beans good and rice was ok. But the crispy cheese taco was amazing! The young lady at the window was very pleasant and our food only took a out 10ish minutes. I will definitely be back to try the rest of the items on their menu ?“
“Good food and relatively inexpensive , I usually get the Mexican plate or carne guisada and my husband gets the menudo . I love menudo but I cannot handle the spiciness of the menudo here . The refried beans are REALLY GOOD and I appreciate that , so many restaurants just phone it in but these guys add the flavor . The chips are thin and crispy and the queso dip is excellent and the salsas are flavorful even if a bit spicy . We will continue to eat here whenever we're in Boerne .“
“Visiting from out of state. Texas family suggested we all have dinner here. And I loved it. Our server was super attentive and efficient. The menu is awesome with great selection. Chips and salsa are the best I’ve had in a long time. The appetizer soup was definitely delicious. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Great for large groups. I’m not much for breakfast so I had chili relleno. Besides being the best I’ve ever had I was able to order it at breakfast time. Breakfast is also served all day. It wasn’t a fancy just a comfortable place with locals gathering.“
“We loved it. The only thing we were disappointed with was that we haven't been here sooner!The Carne Verde breakfast taco was delicious. The Carne was perfectly cooked. The pancakes were fluffy and flavorful. The Chile relleno was on-point! Our daughter loved the midas plate and really liked the fresh tortillas. The beef fajita taco was one of the best tacos my husband has had in Hill Country. We will definitely be back.“

Intimate booths and central table area. Full bar. Diverse menu selection. Enchiladas are great. I am stuck on the street tacos ... try all the meats. Now on to the entree... the MOST AMAZING entree to order is the "Chicken BLUE Corn Enchiladas" and ask for the option of the Over Easy Egg to be on top! BUT FIRST, you'll need to order the appetizer, "Queso Dip" because once your Chicken Blue Corn Enchiladas come out, you'll need to scoop some of that Queso to put on top of your fried egg that is already on top of the enchiladas stack... yes, stack because the enchiladas are layered (not rolled)! IT IS TO DIE FOR!!!! Take your leftovers home because this dish is even better hours later to even the next day as the flavors will be able to seep further into themselves!!! YOU WILL NOT FOR A SECOND BE DISAPOINTED IN TAKING MY RECOMMENDATION!!“
