“We loved it. The only thing we were disappointed with was that we haven't been here sooner! The Carne Verde breakfast taco was delicious. The Carne was perfectly cooked. The pancakes were fluffy and flavorful. The Chile relleno was on-point! Our daughter loved the midas plate and really liked the fresh tortillas. The beef fajita taco was one of the best tacos my husband has had in Hill Country. We will definitely be back.“

“When you think of a restaurant located within a gas station, you might write it off as a "hole in the wall" place that sells greasy uninteresting food. That's not the case here. With any restaurant located in a gas station, there is no seating inside. You'll find benches outside to sit and eat, but this is probably best to take out and go back home or take back to work and eat. You don't really get too much from a service standpoint either. It's order and go. The food itself is amazing. The rice is freshly made and kept warm in the rice cooker (the way it SHOULD ALWAYS be). The chicken was crispy and spicy and full of flavor. Perhaps too flavorful, because I wanted to take a nap after eating. If you are in need a quick bite to go, stop by and get some!“

“I work right down the highway from Chilito's and pass by it every day. I never knew the glorious food I was missing out on. If you're ever driving through Boerne be sure to stop by. I do recommend their burrito and this isn't on their menu but you can ask for a tamale bowl which is just 4 tamales on a bed of their rice (which btw is divine) and refried beans topped with a cheese sauce. It's a simple dish but their poblano sauce (kika sauce) just brings it to another level. They also sell their tamales by the dozen... to take home. I'm definitely stopping by on my lunch break more often.“
