Bakery Lorraine at Boerne Reviews
All I have to say is Thank God! I hate how coffee shops have become this fast paced, to-go cup environment. All I want to do is enjoy a nice coffee in an actual cup! This place has that and great coffee! God Bless !
Fantastic breakfast, lovely patio, friendly staff. Definitely need to try this place!!
Don't miss the Veggie Quiche. Delicious!
I love the food, the coffee, and the welcoming stay-awile ambiance.
The only observation that gave me pause was that the counter staff always seem like they are suffering from the kitchen heat; surely they can improve ventilation in the kitchen?

Bakery Lorraine in Boerne is a must-stop cafe with friendly and attentive staff. The French-style cafe fare, pastries, and coffee are a delight, making it a favorite spot for many customers. The beautifully styled location offers indoor and outdoor seating, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere with gorgeous patios and views of grandiose old oak trees. However, flies can be an issue outside. Customers love the outstanding food, with desserts that are like works of art. Popular dishes include the Reuben sandwich, chicken club sandwich, avocado toast with pickled lentils and chili oil, macarons, and French toast. The portions are generous, allowing for sharing or saving for later. The cafe is open in the evenings, perfect for a late meal. While the back dining room can get loud, there is plenty of seating available. The staff keeps the place spotless and uncluttered, though service can be inconsistent—guests must grab their own utensils, napkins, and water from the cafeteria-style area. Prices are on the medium-high side, but the quality of the food and the portion sizes make it worth every penny. Overall, Bakery Lorraine in Boerne is a bright and roomy cafe with a rustic-minimalistic ambiance, perfect for a delicious and satisfying dining experience. Order at the counter, sit, and they’ll bring your food—just don’t forget to grab essentials yourself.
