I arrived a few minutes before the estimate completion time. Food was ready to go within the next few minutes. Food prepared correctly and everything ordered was present. Note: it was a Wednesday evening but the flow of to go orders were steady.“

“Hello, this post has been a long time coming and I can finally give kudos to this lovely dining experience and delicious food! My work team had our year end lunch here for about 17 people including two kiddos and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate even in a mom/pop size restaurant. We felt like one big family hanging out eating some great food (***** stew, oxtail, catfish and bomb sides). You can bring your own drink too (and act appropriately of course?). My company has also catered food with Momma Luvs and the food is just as great as dining in! Please come by and get your plate(s) and I’m sure you’ll be back because my coworkers and I have surely been returning customers!! Big up!“

“It's surprisingly good. Interior didn't look like a well taken care of a place, but it was clean. Employees were busy, and still, they tried to clean tables as often as they could.

They recommended the burger and the ckn strips, and they were really good. Fries werent great. They were smooshy, high oily flavored, poor seasoned.

I would recommend to present the room better and use stronger aromatics so it doesnt smell like old dinner from the 60's.

The service its good and they are doing great on food. 1st impression is not the food but the actual place. If this is improved, when the food comes in, its a full 5 star experience.“

“Oh my goodness!! My waitress Juran has got to be the absolute best waitress & service professional in the world. When I tell you she takes care of her guests, she goes all in for her guests. “We've been three times now, and the first two times were great. Tonight made us not want to go back for a long while. The women's bathroom was disgusting. We ordered our food and they were out of bread bowls and potatoes. My daughter ordered off the kids menu, and we paid then 10 minutes later an associate came over and said they don't carry what she ordered anymore. So we switched to something else, that cost less, and we had to ask for the refund of the difference later, they didn't offer. We switched to carry out because the AC was broken (not their fault). One of my kids ordered the kid's Mac and cheese and they gave us a tiny side portion as her meal and when I asked the cashier about it she said it was correct. But then I saw a kid with a sandwich and a side of Mac and cheese and his Mac was the same size as her entree portion. I mentioned this and they said oh yah, you're right, and gave us a second one. We left and I realized we didn't get our drinks, we just ordered water so no loss but just irritating. They also didn't give our kids their cookies in this kids meals, which I didn't realize until we got home. My husband broccoli cheese soup was very watery, and my chicken enchilada soup had maybe 2 pieces of nickel size chicken and nothing else but the soup part. Our sandwiches were good and the kids' food was good. The manager was very nice.“

We'd pick up frozen pulled pork in Tennessee and bring it back to Texas as a treat. Nothing to compare until our first visit to The Purple Pig in June. “Where to start, where to start.... Our party had 2 early arrivals that grabbed a table as the other 5 of is were instructed to go to Texas Roadhouse across the highway... Once we learned of the faux pas the 5 of us crossed over and met up. Unfortunately, there were 7 total, not 6 like the hostess was told, but we added a chair and went 3 wide on one side since they wouldn't allow us to drag another UNUSED small table over (that table was EMPTY ALL NIGHT TOO) EVENTUALLY, our darling server showed up and took our drink order and food order at the same time as we had plenty of time to carouse the menu waiting for her. Eventually our drink order showed up (sodas/tea/water) Salads all came out in a large serving with a generous serving of dressing. Two of our salads were incorrect dressing so they went back. Our server made a great joke when she brought the corrected ones back, joking it was a different dressing again. Salad was a great house salad W cheese, croutons, tomatoes, cucumbers all diced up nicely. Our table ordered all across the menu, ribs, dinner salads, CFS, grilled shrimp, chicken tenders. Sides were all excellent from Brussel sprouts to sweet potatoes. The wait for the food was worth it, we had serious conversation we needed to tend to anyways. Server disappeared for quite a while, I needed a refill on water but never got it, thankfully, that's exactly why I drink SLOWLY until I know if I'm going to get topped off frequently or not. Half our group finished our meals and stacked plates, but server never showed up to collect them and took forever to bring our checks. Once checks were divided it took quite a while to get them back to sign and retrieve our credit cards again too. Server was friendly, funny and nice, just lacking attentiveness (didn't see her at any other tables on our area either) Food was DEFINITELY BETTER than Texas Roadhouse... Especially the grilled shrimp. NEVER EVER ORDER THEM AT TEXAS ROADHOUSE, it's like eating a block of salt !! Half our group took home doggy bags as portions are large and worth eating as leftovers again for sure! Will probably return someday, we don't live very close by, but it was overall a decent experience and not overpriced.“

“On our last stop before heading back home to Houston we were searching for a good place to eat. The place we found didn’t open till 1 pm it was 12:30. As we were looking for reviews at places near our location. We noticed this place along the road and the parking lot was packed. Rule thumb if a place’s parking lot is full, it’s usually very good. And we were right, good homemade food even the coconut cream pie we ended up sharing cause we were so stuffed. I truly tried to stop eating but the food was so good.
