“You know how old people, maybe your great grandparents, talk about how people used to be. People were friendly and enjoyed meeting new people. They sat out on their front porch at night talking. They had neighbors over for dinner once a week or so. They helped a man that needed help, and kicked a man's butt that needed kicking. You can still find those kind of people. This is that place. Plus you can get fair prices buying or selling on everything from goats to cattle.“
“You got to try this place! Such a quaint little sandwich shop with some nice seating on the sidewalk outside. Beautiful view of the square as you enjoy your sandwich and chips. I enjoy this place very much and love to take people from out of town there when they come here.“
“Simple furnishings... Nothing fancy but they treat you like family... Very caring and above and beyond service..... Great little salad bar too... Sorry I forgot to take photos but it's full of goodies: green leaf lettuce only.... Pickled okra... Olives.... Cranberries.... Croutons.... Broccoli.... Carrots.....tomatoes...cheese...cucumbers.... Spinach.... Red onions.....yellow peppers, marinated cauliflower mixand more .. Their website shows it....it's small but has a lot..... The chicken fried steak was sooooooo crunchy on the outside and perfectly tender cooked on the inside.... I'm a city girl who doesn't eat much country fried food but this is worth going out of the way for....I suggest getting the gravy on the side so it stays crispy..best I've had in Texas......“
“Always love going to Gigi's. The staff is nice. They're friendly. The food is great and they're deluxe sandwich is extremely goodDietary restrictions: Could not have dairy and they were kind enough to take the cheese off of my sandwichKid-friendliness: The staff knows better than to put condiments or appetizers next to the baby. They brought us a cup that was kid friendly so that she can drink out of itWheelchair accessibility: Everything is ground level. They have a ramp going up into the sidewalk. Wide isles between tables.“
“I had chopped brisket sandwich with a side of potato salad and it was tender and well seasoned ( the secret ingredient in the salad wasn't for me but still good). The coconut cream pie was AMAZING! My husband said the catfish was also very good.“
“Our first visit and they messed up our drive-thru order. However, they were very quick to correct the order, treating it as a priority issue in spite of the fact that it was dinner time on a Friday. We were impressed and will be back again. Customer service is a forgotten art that Kirby's has not forgotten.“
“Went late I guess after 10:30pm1st time ... didn't know if I was suppose to wait in the car go in ?♀️ (not a very inviting place) anyway I tried the pork chop plate (20min wait) I don't mind waiting I use that time to delete old stuff off my phone) anyway my plate was perfect 2 pork chops juicy delicious rice, beans and tortillas very good I plan to go back ? I gave it 4 stars needs an upgrade more welcoming look“
“Server was more interested in her phone than paying attention to her tables. One of my party members order was completely wrong to the response of, "oh I wonder how that happened". Since we were on a schedule he chose to keep it.Food itself was excellent, fries were a bit cold but the catfish was killer and we loved the atmosphere of the old power plant. Would visit again, but seriously, service needs to be more on point instead of screwing around with each other by the kitchen.Parking: Parking lot is split into two lots. Might be tight during weekends and peak. Take it slow.Wheelchair accessibility: Long wheel chair ramp. Non-poweres chairs might need some assistance depending on the person, but I was happy to see the accessibility.“
“Ordered a French Dip, dinner salad, potato salad and a lemonade. The French dip was very good but the au jus was terribly over salted. The dinner salad was on the small side, the potato salad was good, the pickle was really good and the lemonade was excellent.“
