OMG, The best service ever!! The manager Ellen, was our hostess, party of seven. Even though we could tell she was short of staff, and it was a little warm due to the air conditioning not working, Ellen was extra polite, all smiles, and had amazing customer service. Her restaurant was clean and the food was delicious. Thank you Ellen and staff for making an uncomfortable situation out to be a rememberable and enjoyable experience. You rock!!! I recommend the waitress Monica Barrera at the IHOP in Panorama City Calif as she gives such great and wonderful service. She asks if everything is ok and always comes back to give refills. This is much appreciated. Best wishes from the original Johnny Blaze, and "may the Blaze be with you."

While the service is great, some staff conversations in the dining area could be more discreet. IHOP also serves a mix of menu items that may confuse some diners, leading to comments about it feeling like an identity crisis between IHOP and Applebee's. Overall, IHOP is a great place to stop, even for those with mobility issues, and is accommodating to travelers with hours from 5 am to 1 am.
