“We were in Kerrville for a quick visit and found “The Lakehouse” ! We were NOT disappointed. First off, our server Cody was gracious, attentive and top notch. He did a great job. We would give him more than 5 stars if possible. And we must mention the food. It was scrumptious. Our group had everything from catfish to fried shrimp & chicken fried steak. Oh yeah and the onion rings were hand batter and delicious! We even got peach & blackberry cobbler for later. We are sure to sleep good tonight after all the comfort food! If you haven’t been there, you should definitely check it out. We just wish this little gem wasn’t 4 hours away from where we live!“

“Exceptional atmosphere inside and out. Wonderful food. It will be a regular stop. We met a traveler in San Antonio, and she told us about Cate at The Ridge. We drove to Kerville, (25 miles out of our way), to try the Cafe. We have told several people about it. Guess what? They already loved the place. Are we the last to discover this heavenly restaurant? None of the people we mentioned the restaurant to live in Kerrville. They all drive a distance to eat there!“

“When I get the craving, this is where I go. My favorite is the stuffed potato with pulled pork.They are huge! Everything on it plus jalapenos is my go to item. All their sauces; regular, sweet, spicy are superb! There is absolutely no way to devour this in one sitting. Wish I would have taken an image of it to upload but once it's in your hands, you can only focus on biting into this gem.
