We love visiting local, non-chain restaurants. This place was so nice! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The views of the Guadalupe were lovely. We had a great lunch today! The catfish and hush puppies were really good!
Waited two days for fried chicken... got there at 2 pm...an hour before close. Out of chicken!!!! Sooooo disappointed!. The parking lot is always overflowing on Sunday...poor planning.
Lake House Restaurant is a wonderful country\\-style restaurant\\! The fish was the best I’ve ever had—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked\\. Vicky was so nice and welcoming, which made the experience even better\\. We were just passing through the little town, but stopping there was such a pleasant surprise\\. I’m so glad we found this charming restaurant and would definitely visit again\\!

It’s a go-to place in Kerrville, offering a riverside atmosphere that feels like a special occasion at an auntie’s house—always with too much good food but impossible to stop eating. An "Old Timer" favorite for a unique treat.
