“Such an amazing brunch spot in Fredericksburg. Usually a 15-20 wait but so worth it. Have to try the Josephine. Don’t knock before you try it. It works so well together. Omelettes are always a hit too. Must go when you’re in town.“

“My wife and I are staying in an Airbnb nearby and decided to stop by along the way. We ate The Original Pig Sandwich and Everyone’s Favorite Pulled Pork Nachos. The sandwich was great and tangy, not too messy. The nachos were also excellent, coming with a white queso. The atmosphere was cozy and the knick-knacks around the place were neat to look at, especially the Houston Astrodome seats!“

“The place was amazing!! Our server, Rick, took excellent care of us last night. Even though he was double-sat when we fell into his section, I did not feel like an extra burden in any way. Rather, he felt like another member of our party, one with intimate knowledge of the restaurant and its menu, giving us things like a free sample of the carrot soup (which was amazing, btw). The grounds are absolutely stunning, and it makes me wish we could have stayed here, in one of the cabins. That being said, one of the only troubles we had is the bit where we had to wait for our table (and that only because the advertisement we say explicitly stated there is no reason for reservations). True, we did not have reservations but we were still seated within about a half hour on Saturday night, and there was plenty for us to look at in the meantime. It was not a big deal, but it is a comment for the future. Always get the reservation, especially on weekends. Finally, the food. Everything our server recommended was top notch. Of course, I've only been there once, so I can't speak for the whole menu, but what we had was amazing, especially the steak (I had the ten ounce strip), maybe the best steak I've ever had in my life. All in all, the most difficult thing to swallow is maybe the cost of everything, but when you consider the exceptional wait staff, the incredible atmosphere, and the outstanding menu items, I also know these things do not come cheap. My wife and I (we live in the San Antonio area) are already planning our second trip to this excellent establishment(!!)“

“Great spot! We heard that this spot used to be down the road among some antique shops off of the main drag. It came highly recommended as a good lunch spot. We went in between the breakfast and lunch menus. I got a turkey, bacon, cheddar panini which was freaking delicious and the wife had some avocado toast with eggs. Best sandwich I've had in a long time. The onions were perfect.. they were super thin instead of being over powering chunks. We had dinner at a different restaurant close by and realized it was from Woerner's too. It was Delicious!“

“What a wonderful experience. Although we had to wait a bit for a table, we were able to enjoy a drink at the bar and observe the bar tenders mixing drinks and serving with smiles. Once seated, our server, Heather, was welcoming, friendly and super efficient. Our meal came quickly with a smile. Heather checked on us continually. Our food, Chicken Schnitzel for my husband, and smoked pork chop for me (with cheese grits, awesome), was fantastic. We loved the decor and atmosphere as well. We highly recommend this spot for your next meal!“

“We were put on a wait and were seated faster than the estimate given. They said as long as we answered the phone when they called, they would hold the table - so we were able to wander to some nearby shops while waiting. When we got seated, drink order was taken almost immediately. Once food was ordered it came out in about ten minutes and was hot and delicious. I had banana pancakes - soft, fluffy and hot! Very good. My wife had biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs with cheese and bacon. All of it was freaking perfect! We are just visiting but if I lived here, this would be a go-to breakfast stop!“
