A must go to when visiting Fredericksburg. Fair warning it does get packed at normal breakfast/ brunch hours so be prepared to wait or go a little earlier to avoid crowds. You can’t go wrong with an omelet and pancakes. If you’re a breakfast person generally, the Mama Bear is an easy go to. I strongly recommend getting the sour dough toast as the flavor is delicious.
First time being here. Their service was excellent! We had the Papa Bear and French Toast Breakfast!! If you have not tried this place, then you are missing out!! They serve breakfast throughout the day!!

We were put on a wait and were seated faster than the estimate given. They said as long as we answered the phone when they called, they would hold the table - so we were able to wander to some nearby shops while waiting. When we got seated, drink order was taken almost immediately. Once food was ordered it came out in about ten minutes and was hot and delicious. I had banana pancakes - soft, fluffy and hot!
