A fun stop for lunch or dinner. Good drinks and a varied menu in a self service style environment ran by the daughter of Hondo, the owner and self proclaimed Mayor of LuckenbachWe ordered far more than our share just to sample. Texas fried steak was tender with a nice crust. Good burgers made just right. Onion strings were very tasty with the complimentary dipping sauces.Queso for a couple was very generous, more like 2 couples. Good margaritas but not too strong.

It’s a fun place to go. Awesome ambiance. You order the food at the bar and then pick it up from the kitchen. The food is unique, interesting, but we didn’t love it. We had two different kinds of enchiladas and two different quesadillas. If you’re going for the food, you might try somewhere else. If you want a really fun place to get a drink, it’s a good spot.
