“Cabernet Grill is a solid place in Fredericksburg. The food was really good overall, the mac and cheese and risotto were super creamy and comforting. That honey butter, though, was definitely the star of the show! It was also really nice that it’s connected right to a bar, so grabbing a drink before and after dinner was super easy. Good food, relaxed vibe, and definitely a pleasant stop.“
“Great for a walk amongst all kinds of flowers and plants. We saw so many butterflies and pollinators in the Butterfly Garden. The moving wind catchers were really cool.
The staff is very informative and helped us pick some flower seeds for our gardens.
Overall, I recommend for a short trip from Fredericksburg.
Oh ya, don’t sleep on the pickled veggies and preserve/jam/jelly/butter section.“

“My wife Caroline and I stopped at Nury’s on Main Street in Fredericksburg. We loved the restaurant! The atmosphere, friendly staff, great selections of delicious cuisines, good quality and value. We met the owner Nury and she was so nice and friendly. We ordered some beef empanadas and loved it. We’re definitely going back. It’s our favorite spot now.“

“Omgoodness! Iykyk! This place is $$$. Greasy, juicy burgers in a paper wrapper, fries in a brown paper bag and both are as COUNTRY as you can get!! This is the place for a great burger, cold beer, hot fries and awesome music ❤️ Not even sorry about the pics of half eaten burgers, that’s how good they were! Don’t sleep on the Habanero mango sauce…..amazing“

“We went for breakfast and got there about 7:45am on the Friday before Labor Day. Our waitress was really good & helpful with my questions about the food choices. The breakfast was awesome! We also got some of their delicious baked goods to take home. Parking was easy at that time of day. We noticed that after we left, the place got really crowded. I agree with other reviews about getting there before 8am if you prefer not waiting.“
“The beautiful scenery and charming atmosphere of the Wedding Oak Winery transported me back in time to my own wedding day 25 years ago. The smell of the oak barrels and the taste of the delicious wine brought back fond memories and emotions from that special day. It was truly a nostalgic and unforgettable experience.“

“I’m not sure where to begin. My husband and I ate lunch on the back patio today with our dog, Dino. We were promptly greeted by our server Jo, who must have written the manual on great service. She was attentive, witty and full of information. Our food was equally as great, we’ve eaten quite a bit of bratwurst in this town in the past 5 weeks, and theirs is lights out. Oh, and to top it off the live music was awesome, check their schedule so you don’t miss Cliff Crawford.“

“My husband and I went to hilltop Café last night to celebrate our engagement day. It was the best food I’ve had in a long time pleasant atmosphere good music not too loud. Food was excellent. Kudos highly recommend.“
“Recommended by an acquaintance. About 6 miles North of town in an old Sinclair gas station. A small bar and 4 tables. Menu choice was a DinoBLT or hot wings. We went for the BLT. Order at the bar, no table service. BLT's came out in a paper sack. Bottle beer and canned soda are the beverage options, no water. Could well be the best BLT I ever had. $10.00. Weekends The menu changes to DinoBurger $20.00 and wings. Would have come back for that but left town the next day. While waiting around for food, wander through the service bay.“

“Ever was an excellent server. He check on us several times. Our lunch was absolutely delicious. We were seated right away. Great atmosphere. We were waited on, served and out in 45 minutes. We were there for lunch at 12:30 pm. We highly recommend this place for some great German food. This is the 3rd time I have been there and the food is always great. 10/13/2022“

“We really enjoyed our dinner at Rathskeller. I had the blackened Mahi Mahi and it was delicious. My husband said the Heavenly Tilapia was the best he’s ever had. The rice pilaf wasn’t bad, but it was more of a Spanish rice IMO. I enjoyed the cheddar mashed potatoes, but my husband was not impressed with them. Over all, our dinner was wonderful and the service was great. We’d go back again!“

“We go to Mamcita's almost every time we are in town. The food is always good, but this past weekend, we went and I went into the restroom and it was awful. The second stall was so nasty and I tried to flush it down, but the handle was broke. So I waited for the next one to open up. After I walked out, told the lady by the desserts and she cut me off right away and said they knew it. Why was this not addressed and at least put a note on the door that is was out of order? Why was not not fixed when it was reported the first time. Please keep restrooms clean-this also gives a red flag that leans to the wonder of the kitchen. This was a big turn off!!“

“Looking for a place to eat since many are closed Mon/Tues. Had to go into the oldest brewpub in TX and have a beer. Gaelyn waited on us and was fantastic. She visited with us, gave us her”local” spots to visit and was very attentive and kind. I don’t normally eat meatloaf but split with hubby and it was very good. So was the beer!“

“Grape creek was awesome as always, I've been a member now for about 4 years and the wine never disappoints. Always a hit to give as Christmas or birthday gift. I love sitting on their patio and enjoying a glass with the cheese tray. Leilani has been has helped me everytime I visit and she is just wonderful! Super knowledgeable and professional 👌 👏 👍 🙌“
