“The Club Sandwich is fabulous: Lots of shaved turkey and ham; plenty of crisp bacon. But CAUTION: if you want the terrific salad as your side, ask for it to be on a separate plate. By the time mine was carried from the kitchen to our table, the delicious salad dressing had slopped out and soaked the sandwich.“

“Super cute, romantic place to grab a bite, so a glass of wine, listen to some local live music, and watch the sunset. The ambience is like no other in Fredericksburg. Feel the hills of hill country. The owner was so friendly, a total character, and very chatty if you took the time to engage with him. He rallied the restaurant at just the right time to walk up to the viewing deck for the sunset. They food was solid, you'll be glad you went.“
“Quaint house with tasty pies. I had a chocolate pie with a whipped cream topping. I can not remember what pie my sister ate but she enjoyed it. I got a slice of apple pie to go and my sister got a slice of peach pie to go. They were very enjoyable.“

“There are several German places in Fredericksburg but I chose this one to celebrate a special event with friends and family and was happy with it. They were very accommodating in having tables for us beside each other for our big party. Prices are reasonable for quality German food. Got the pork schnitzel and it was very yummy. Good fried breading without being too thick or greasy, great sides. Everyone was happy with their meals. Highly recommended if you need a place to celebrate with great food in Fredericksburg!“

“We went here twice in one day, that's how great this place is! We went for drinks and apps the first time, then a second time for dinner since my husband INSISTED that he needed another Hill Country Mule. The food was tasty, but the drinks were phenomenal!“

“Michelle, owner of Namaste, catered an entire weekend retreat for me. She did an amazing job! The food was wonderful, the presentation was beautiful, & her presence was a welcome addition to the group! If you're looking for healthy food that tastes delicious, you definitely want to eat here.“
“Rachael was amazing. She treated us like queens. When we walked in, we were asked to move down multiple times because other people were walking in. The front workers desk didn't come back to us to help us get what we wanted. Rachael noticed, pulled us to her table and recovered the experience back so we wouldn't request the stop. 10 out of 10 would go back and I'll be calling ahead to make Rachael will be there.“
“As members of Safari, we brought our daughter and son-in-law to enjoy the wonderful wine and atmosphere.Casey (KC) was in charge of our group and she was so knowledgable, professional, friendly and fun that our guests decided to join the club as well.On the other hand, we came back the next day to celebrate our daughters 30th birthday (yes, that day was her exact birthday), and even though we were all member now, the person that served us, denied any special treatment for the birthday girl by telling us that "as members, we already had a complimentary glass of wine".We left very dissapointed by the second treatment they (she) gave us.“
“Go see Matthew!! He's got the best personality and does a really great job of explaining the wines. My husband and I had a great time and we highly recommend Baron Creek Winery. ?? The bruschetta was delicious!!Thank you, Matthew, for being a wonderful host. We are grateful for you! ? See you next time!!!“
“We have two teenagers and the last couple of years many of the wineries in this area only welcome 21+ only. This is crazy, we have been bringing our children to wineries since they were babies. My husband and I would always sit outside with a glass of wine; playing cards, chatting with our kids, and admiring the view.I called many of the wineries we had enjoyed in the past and they told us teenagers were not welcome anymore, and that is how I ended up calling Pontotoc Weingarten. I had never heard of them, but they said families were welcome and we decided to check them out.It was a little difficult to locate their Weingarten at first as they are tucked away between 2 larger buildings, but we had no problem finding parking right across the street. I have family from Germany and have visited the country many times, and Pontotoc reminded me of a Weingarten in a small German town. Pontotoc is right off Main St. but didn’t feel like it because of the thick rock walls surrounded the garden. There were plenty of places to sit outside and the small building and location was absolutely lovely. The owner was amazing and suggested the sangria which we tried and it was delicious! I don’t like sweet drinks, but this sangria was very subtly sweetened and had hints of orange and lemon. The wine we tried was also wonderful. This has been my favorite place to visit for wine in Fredericksburg and we will be back. I can’t wait to try their picnic basket! The best part of the experience was being able to have our teenage boys warmly welcomed. If you want a romantic place to bring your date or a relaxing outside location to sit and visit with your family, make sure you visit Pontotoc Weingarten!“
“My recent dining experience at Vineyard Bistro was nothing short of exceptional, thanks in large part to, Travis Mangum. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were greeted with the inviting scent of culinary delights and the picturesque backdrop of the vineyard. The wine selection at Grape Creek was also noteworthy. With a solid array of wines to complement the meal, we found the perfect pairing for each course. Whether you're a wine connoisseur or simply enjoy a good glass with your meal, you won't be disappointed. And let's not forget about the ambience—the vineyard in the background provided a stunning backdrop for our meal. As we dined, we were treated to the serene beauty of the vineyard, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to our day.In conclusion, if you're looking for a dining experience that combines exquisite cuisine, fine wine, and a beautiful ambience, look no further than Grape Creek.“

“Such an amazing brunch spot in Fredericksburg. Usually a 15-20 wait but so worth it. Have to try the Josephine. Don’t knock before you try it. It works so well together. Omelettes are always a hit too. Must go when you’re in town.“

This is the place for a great burger, cold beer, hot fries and awesome music ❤️ Not even sorry about the pics of half eaten burgers, that’s how good they were! “The owners are as sweet as their homemade, in the shop, never frozen pies! We have a number of favorites, especially the pecan and cherry, with runners up, chocolate cream and lemon meringue. There is no need to fret over baking a pie at home for the holidays. Tawnie, Merle and Jade make the pie as good or better than what you make at home. Rely on them to prepare the perfect dessert for your family and friends! Simply scrumptious!!“
“Arrived here on a Saturday around 1pm. It was very packed, since it was graduation weekend, however we got lucky and found seating outside in the shade. We absolutely love coming to this winery, this was our fourth time here. The staff is friendly and kind, our girl Jess gave us the best tour ever. She was amazing!!!!! And knew so much and was funny and cool. We just ended up buying the wine by the bottle, which is fairly priced. They did have an event in the pavilion at 4pm for a wedding that was happening. I love coming here the wine is amazing. I love that we can bring our own snacks to make our own charcuterie board, since my friends and i are picky about our boards. I will definitely be coming back here in the cooler months!“

“Food is incredible and the service is excellent. We asked our server, Sean for recommendations and he didn’t miss! The crab appetizer is delicious, and the little shot glass of soup when you sit down is quite possibly the best soup I’ve ever had. Start to finish, everything we ate was excellent.“

“This place is delicious! We got in line about 15 minutes before they opened, so we got right in for dinner. We had our food within 15 minutes of sitting down, and were in and out in a total of 40 minutes! Very impressive. My husband got the lasagna and I got the #4. They were both delicious. Servers were attentive and kind. Definitely recommend!“

The service was great. You will be in awe with water well that is in the restaurant with a see through glass looking down. I will definitely come back again.“

“We couldn’t get into one restaurant & stumbled into this one. What a blessing!! All 6 of were seated immediately. The food was fantastic! We all got something different so we could try most of the menu. Not one disappoint, all was absolutely delicious! Save room for dessert- that’s an order!!“
“Recommended by an acquaintance. About 6 miles North of town in an old Sinclair gas station. A small bar and 4 tables. Menu choice was a DinoBLT or hot wings. We went for the BLT. Order at the bar, no table service. BLT's came out in a paper sack. Bottle beer and canned soda are the beverage options, no water. Could well be the best BLT I ever had. $10.00. Weekends The menu changes to DinoBurger $20.00 and wings. Would have come back for that but left town the next day. While waiting around for food, wander through the service bay.“

“I was on a road trip with my family and we needed some lunch and we ended up going here. We were seated instantly and the seats were very comfortable. Our N. Y. pizza didn't take much time to cook and it was absolutely delicious! Our waiter was very nice and attentive. The pizza wasn't cut too well but we are messy and that didn't stop us! Amazing place, I highly recommend.“

“German cuisine but if youre used to the jägerschnitzel back home this is pretty different... Supposedly you can order in german but our waitress just starkes at us with a blank Expression so maybe its only the owner who speaks it.Still, very unique.“
“Hye cider is hands down the best cider in Texas. You honestly can’t get better. It’s not overly sweet like most ciders and offers a variety of ABVs for every taste. Don’t pass them up at HEB or go in for a tasting and ask to speak to the head cider maker Nate, he’s always willing to talk shop (if he’s not busy!) and is very knowledgeable about Texas booze in general!“

Really cool place in a beautiful, quiet part of hill country. Just redeemed the best texas restaurant lists after the catastrophe called hilltop cafe.“

“My daughter arranged a wine tasting tour for my birthday. Andreucci was my favorite. Authentic, elegant, the atmosphere was perfect. Our wine expert, Carlos poured exactly what my palate desired in a red wine for my tasting. Thank you for that wonderful experience. You were amazing with our party. You are greatly appreciated! I will be back.If you enjoy fine red wines at room temperature, with extreme attention applied for proper aging, authentic, Italy family owned winery, you must visit Andreucci. You will not be disappointed. We visited the new location on this tour.“
“Very kind and welcoming! Also, we like sweet wines and the server asked at first if we liked sweet wines and offered a taste of the sweet so we could decide which one we liked. The tasting room is very nice and homey with couches or chairs“

“Girl's night out!We went on the 290 wine bus tour available right the parking space in Inn at Baron's in Fredericksburg TX and it was initially not a great ambiance for the first few wine places we stopped by. But this place had mixture of music and it was good! The dj read the crowdAnd didn't just play one genre. I'm not a fan of rock and country music which is understandable why majority of the wine places play it but this one played R&B, hip hop, Latina etc music! We had so much fun. Having the Maine Food truck was a bonus (that's another review)“

“Good food at reasonable prices for a buffet, AND it has a LOT of choices! Soups, a lot of salad toppings as well as dressings, a good selection of different kinds of pizza and some sketti/noodles, and a few good desserts as well! There isn't much svc for a buffet, but the people there always keep the buffet line clean and full of items, and they come around to take your plates - a well managed place! No atmosphere, but I'm not looking for that in a place like this - just good food and good prices, and they have it! Well done Mr Gatti's! ??“

Small Menudo, barbacoa with eggs and American breakfast. All standard plates but exceptional flavor. Food was fast and staff was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend as a great alternative to what Fredericksburg offers or if you have a craving for some great Mexican food.“

“I had the Papa Bear breakfast with biscuits and gravy with a shirt stack. We went early so there wasn't a wait or lack of service. The biscuits were light and fluffy. The gravy wasn't too thick. The pancakes were delicious. The only complaint was the coffee could have been stronger. We will be back.“
“Absolutely stunning grounds with a nice members program. Service is always stellar. Wines are probably some of the best in the area depending on your tastes. The Oregon Rogue Valley wines are delicious as are the estate options grown here in the Hill Country.“
“I didn't stay here, but as soon as you turn into Fredericksburg, this is the 1st restaurant, and we had been googling the menu beforehand. “We really enjoyed our dinner at Rathskeller. I had the blackened Mahi Mahi and it was delicious. My husband said the Heavenly Tilapia was the best he’s ever had. The rice pilaf wasn’t bad, but it was more of a Spanish rice IMO. I enjoyed the cheddar mashed potatoes, but my husband was not impressed with them. Over all, our dinner was wonderful and the service was great. We’d go back again!“

“I’ve been here many times, over the years, and always had a good experience. I just want to give a shout out to the young man who helped me, today. Sage was very personable, KNOWLEDGEABLE, helpful, and friendly. There don’t seem to be many staff, there, right now, but he was doing an awesome job. Thank you—from the lady who bought 4 coral vines and asked if you could trim down the stakes. Sage is a definite asset to Wildseed Farms! Great job, young man!“
