Cabernet Grill is a solid place in Fredericksburg. The food was really good overall, the mac and cheese and risotto were super creamy and comforting. That honey butter, though, was definitely the star of the show! It was also really nice that it’s connected right to a bar, so grabbing a drink before and after dinner was super easy. Good food, relaxed vibe, and definitely a pleasant stop.
Went here for a family dinner. Service was wonderful from Michael. Drinks were delightful. Deviled eggs for appetizers were good, not too heavy on seasoning. Entrees included the flounder, which was good. It was sitting in a little too much butter for me. I did the sweet potato mash as my side and it was really good. My husband had the chicken fried ribeye and said it was ok. For dessert, we shared the chocolate cherry cake and it was very good.
This was an experience for the books! We came for our 8 year anniversary/a late honeymoon (married June 2026)! We felt so special coming here! Great service & even better food!
