Food is incredible and the service is excellent. We asked our server, Sean for recommendations and he didn’t miss! The crab appetizer is delicious, and the little shot glass of soup when you sit down is quite possibly the best soup I’ve ever had. Start to finish, everything we ate was excellent.

This is a phenomenal dining experience, from appetizers to desert everything was just wonderful. My friend had the steak with maple sweet potatoes, and I had salmon and mashed, the snickerdoodle creme brulee was delightful! Last but certainly not least, our waiter Rich’s recommendations were perfect, his humor was so appreciated, we enjoyed him as if we knew him for a long time!

My husband and I are here in Texas for his birthday. We stopped by Cabernet Grill for dinner and it was absolutely fabulous! Service, food, ambiance all 100! Nothing quite like this in Birmingham, Alabama!

Everything was ok to good. Definitely not as good as we had hoped-for. We saw a video raving about the Rib-Eye Chicken Fried. For the price, it was way off. It is a very awesome place to see. But it is on the very pricey side. They wanted to charge us for extra lemons for our ice tea. That's the cost of doing business, they said. Unfortunately we won't be back.

Fantastic, food, drinks, service, and atmosphere. The chicken fried ribeye with lobster was perfectly cooked and lightly battered, and the lobster was succulent. The bread pudding and the maple brown butter cake were melt in your mouth delicious. Great service and atmosphere.

DONT expect hospitality if something’s wrong with ur food! Horrible steak don’t order the chicken fried steak ribeye or the strip steak! Very dry and gritty! Mashed potatoes were horrible tasted like they sat for hours ! Not whipped potatoes they were brown and literally a kid size portion! They charge $39 for that plate?! The management came and rudely took up our plates and decided to charge us 50% so, $20 for mashed potatoes or grits?! Not!Prejudice Mexicans so sad for the owner who is not doing his diligence in keeping professionalism with his workers especially James manger who has not a single idea how to be one!I would say to the owner stop by in San Antonio sit inside salt grass on 281 San Pedro and SEE THE DIFFERENCE IN SERVICE AND FOOD!!All the owner has going is his ambience cabins and liquor“This made sense because we devote tremendous attention to even the most minute details of every dish that leaves our kitchen, knowing that our reputation rides on each plate.”This is a quote from the owner ! It’s all just a superficial front. They don’t care about the plate that goes out onto the table their reputation does not ride on each plate! It’s because jame said he didn’t care if I write a bad review he was only interested in calling the cops for &39 if I refused!!’Unbelievable unfortunate that I had to argue to not pay for the steak taken from my table and then charge me $20 for the grits! I would gladly paid the food I ate but they didn’t care the embarrassment and the reputation that was about to be posted on here specifically for the order that we had ordered .The food is horrible and over cooked. Apparently customer service is at the bottom.They stole my food and wanted to charge for what I was going to give to my dog.

This was a wonderful place for dinner. The outdoor seating is really nice. The food was excellent . I had the chicken fried ribeye. I can never have regular chicken fried steak again! My server was very knowledgeable about the menu but was also able to answer my questions about the area. He was very helpful. Excellent meal!
Won’t accommodate a party of 8…. This was our favorite restaurant in Fredericksburg. The wife and I try to visit any time we come to wine country. We will be in town this weekend for my 40th birthday and my sisters 30th and we’re looking forward to a great dinner at our favorite place but were told they won’t seat our party of 8. They said they couldn’t even guarantee us two tables near one another. Extremely disappointed as a party of 8 people really isn’t a large party. No explanation, no attempt at trying to figure out a solution, just a sorry we can’t help and won’t even try.
