“Grape creek was awesome as always, I've been a member now for about 4 years and the wine never disappoints. Always a hit to give as Christmas or birthday gift. “Truly picked based on logo, and then when finding location was pleased it was within town. Upon arrival, just wanted to try something new. We had the whole place to ourselves, a WONDERFUL background to the wines and the Kalasi Cellars origin, and smooth as silk red wine. (Our wine educator was a fantastic wealth of knowledge- his name started with a J- the rest is lost to me in his captivating history )

“We had an amazing private tasting experience at Slate Theory Winery. The wines were outstanding—thoughtfully crafted, balanced, and full of character. The cave setting was truly incredible and made the whole experience feel unique and intimate. Our host, Alisa, was the absolute best. “Stopped in at Augusta Vin on a Thursday. Spent several hours there enjoying a tasting hosted by Ryan, the best of the best. My sister and I both joined the wine club and recommend you take the time to visit and take in their beautiful place and all the views with wine it offers.“

They feature delicious Texas wines that beautifully showcase what Lone Star winemakers can do, followed by a wonderful selection of classic California favorites. Both regions are stunningly represented, and you truly can't go wrong with a glass from either. A must-visit for great eats and stellar pours!“
“Jim welcomed us with a warm greeting. He spoke about the winery and the museum. Was knowledgeable and helpful choosing wine since I’m not a wine drinker. The museum has a lot of moments captured of AJ’s life during his career. We had a great time relaxing and seeing a bit of racing history.“
“Until I can make it to Texas, I’m bringing Diamond Vineyards to me in central New York! I ordered a shipment with selections of Tempranillo, Tannat, Mourvedre, and Melee and loved them all! Shipping was easy with lots of options and the wine was packed with care. I can see why the Tempranillo is a favorite with a unique flavor and warm rich feel perfect for a cold snowy night by the fire. I will replenish my stash and hope to visit the source, soon. We honestly can’t say enough about Invention and all of the Heath Family wineries. The wine is phenomenal, but what keeps us coming back is the people. Every single person we’ve met has been warm, authentic, and incredibly accommodating. You can tell this isn’t a place where employees are just punching a clock—it’s a close-knit team that’s genuinely invested in creating an amazing experience.
The wines speak for themselves, too. Texas wine isn’t trying to catch up anymore—it’s earning its place alongside some of the country’s best.
Seriously… go. Book a tasting. Become a member. And if you visit on a Friday or Saturday, ask for Deb or Ashley. They’re both absolute gems and are some of the many reasons this place feels so special.“
