26 Best Wineries in Fredericksburg

Invention Vineyards Wineries • $$
4222 S State Hwy 16, Fredericksburg

“Stop sleeping on Texas wine!!!

We honestly can’t say enough about Invention and all of the Heath Family wineries. The wine is phenomenal, but what keeps us coming back is the people. Every single person we’ve met has been warm, authentic, and incredibly accommodating. You can tell this isn’t a place where employees are just punching a clock—it’s a close-knit team that’s genuinely invested in creating an amazing experience.

The wines speak for themselves, too. Texas wine isn’t trying to catch up anymore—it’s earning its place alongside some of the country’s best.

Seriously… go. Book a tasting. Become a member. And if you visit on a Friday or Saturday, ask for Deb or Ashley. They’re both absolute gems and are some of the many reasons this place feels so special.“

Kalasi Cellars Winery •
414 Goehmann Ln, Fredericksburg

“Truly picked based on logo, and then when finding location was pleased it was within town. Upon arrival, just wanted to try something new. We had the whole place to ourselves, a WONDERFUL background to the wines and the Kalasi Cellars origin, and smooth as silk red wine. (Our wine educator was a fantastic wealth of knowledge- his name started with a J- the rest is lost to me in his captivating history )
Don't think Targaryen, think Telugu- pronounced kuh-li-si
Try it out! Go experience the tastings, you might find your wine preference changing. I ❤ this gem I found on a whem and I hope this review guides you there too.“

Texas Heritage Vineyard Winery • $$

“On our way to Austin TX, GaeGogi and I made a pit stop at this wine collective tasting room (canines are welcomed inside :-)

Today, a typical Friday, a band will be playing music on their outside patio (Sundays too).

Maby locals will swing by for the music and wines... Or a fair amount like me, will enjoy some wine inside while escaping the heat.

Friendly folks, knows all of the locals's names... Cheers!“

Both regions are stunningly represented, and you truly can't go wrong with a glass from either. A must-visit for great eats and stellar pours!“

Shipping was easy with lots of options and the wine was packed with care. I can see why the Tempranillo is a favorite with a unique flavor and warm rich feel perfect for a cold snowy night by the fire. I will replenish my stash and hope to visit the source, soon.
