“The Moody's Omelette and the Bread Pudding French Toast are our favorites, so far. THIS IS NOT BAR FOOD. What a finominal suprise to find LAGIT cuisine in a bar environment with live music. Guess it's expected when u get a NOLA transplant chef.“
“Good value, for good seafood. I didn’t say great seafood, but for the price, the value is here. They deliver on the Crab Shack atmosphere; complete with bar, TV’s and small arcade. Unfortunately, that also includes uncomfortable chairs for a longer stay / meal.TIP: ask about the specials and the catch of the day-type pricing and entree availability.Parking: Located in a busy area of Cedar Park - typical challenges with parking in close quarters with other patrons.“
“Y'all's Down-Home Southern Café is an absolute gem tucked away in the heart of the ROCK, aka Round Rock. From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted with the irresistible aroma of Southern comfort cooking that instantly transports you to Grandma's kitchen on a Sunday afternoon.Let's talk about those chicken wings. Crispy, juicy, and seasoned to perfection, they're the epitome of Southern comfort food. Each bite is a symphony of flavors, with just the right amount of seasoning to leave you craving more. And let's not forget about the size – these wings are big enough to share, but you might find yourself hoarding them all to yourself. Now, onto the sides. The black-eyed peas are a standout dish, with tender beans and bits of onion that add a pop of flavor with every bite. They taste like they've been simmering on the stove all day, infusing each spoonful with the warmth and comfort of a homemade meal. While the fried corn may not have been the star of the show, it still held its own. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, it provided the perfect contrast to the savory goodness of the chicken wings. And while a touch more seasoning would have taken it to the next level, it still satisfied that craving for Southern comfort food. And of course, Southern meal would only be complete with cornbread. Moist, buttery, and oh-so-delicious, it's the perfect accompaniment to any meal. Each bite is like a taste of home, reminding you of lazy Sundays spent gathered around the table with loved ones.Even during a pickup order, the attention to detail and friendly service at Y'all's Down-Home Southern Cafe shines through. As I placed my order, the server or bartender who assisted me was not only pleasant but took the time to repeat my order back to me. It might seem like a small gesture, but it's those little touches that truly make a difference in the overall dining experience. Their attentiveness ensured that my order was accurate and exactly what I was craving, adding an extra layer of warmth to the already inviting atmosphere of the restaurant. It's these moments of genuine hospitality that keep me coming back to Y'all's Down-Home Southern Café time and time again.“
“Really good Cajun food. The crawfish is always really good and I was pleasantly surprised at how good their catfish was as well. Bought some cafe du monde beignet mix there, made it at home and they came out really good! The only thing I will say they could do better is the iced tea doesn't taste that great and I wish they had more seating room inside.“
“Great experience. From the greeting to being served by Jaycee. She was right on top of things. Explained the special which was Swordfish with crab meat topping. My wife ordered it and I had a taste. I had the shrimp and fish etufea (can’t spell it).Delicious! Just had a great experience there.Jaycee was the best served, pleasant and positive. Thank you Fredas.“
“I came in for lunch with a friend and we had an amazing time. Our server Tyler was prompt, attentive and extremely helpful. He made sure we had a fantastic experience. Our food and drinks were phenomenal. The manager Keith was so friendly and continually checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back again. Thank you!“
“Our favorite place to eat. Super nice people Catfish is great. Jambalaya is amazing. Grillades and grits too. Breakfasts and lakeline taco is top notch and decently priced. Really good people too. About 6 years ago I had their beer battered catfish and I asked for some malt vinegar and they sent someone to HEB to get some. - David.“
“Pappadeaux exceeded my highest expectations! My fiance and I went there for my 54th birthday and let me tell you....the food was way too awesome!!!! All I can tell you is that please stop by there the one on 183 South. In order the scallops with shrimp and truffle risotto....... And for dessert you have to try the fudge brownie vanilla ice cream it's devastatingly delicious!“
“Thee food was amazing! ish was on point. The boils were good though a tadbit salty. The manager did mention we could have requested to have it reboiled to remove some of the saltiness but we were happy with it nonetheless! My daugjter asked for the hamburger and said was great! Had a live band that played well and server was super attentive. 5 stars all the way!“
“I got the honey hot and lemon peeper chicken it was fried fresh and crispy yet tender inside and the honey hot in my opinion was not hot it was super tasty and very palatable and the lemon pepper is better than wingstop or wings and things or wing Daddys it was super yummy. I dont regret visiting here while on a short trip!!Parking: As long as it is not busy you can park right in front of their truckKid-friendliness: Anyone can go there nothing seemed to be un safe when we went. I took my daughter with me.Wheelchair accessibility: It’s an outside lot so it is accessible.“
“Good food and nice staff. The boudin egg rolls were good, even though the texture of the filling was not to my liking, the flavor was good and the dipping sauce was delicious. The chicken and sausage gumbo was very tasty ? I wanted to try the crawfish etoufee, however they didn't have any the day of my visit. My coworker had the fried catfish and also the turkey necks and said they were both very, very good. Overall, we both give this place a thumbs up?? and will be back to try more!“
“It's finally summer, so time for road trip dates and weekend trips. And if your travel love language is food like mine, I know you'll be trying out some awesome restaurants outside of Dallas. So, I have this one for my seafood lovers! Just down the road in Austin you can find some of the best seasoned boiled seafood at @kasianboil . I have crawfish, shrimp & snowcrab while there and yes, it was goooooood! It's a Must Visit & I will definitely be going back. Pro Tip : Ask for a side of sauce.. you'll want more one you taste it. Bonus Tip: Check out their deal on @groupon“
“OMG! After a mix up in pick up time was corrected, I got my food quickly and barely had to wait. Drove 11 minutes to my daughter’s house and our boiled dinners were still hot! We were just in New Orleans last December and I have to say that this meal was better than what we had there. The flavor was perfect and my hush puppies were phenomenal. My daughter had the Cajun Boil and I had the mini headless shrimp boil. I am definitely going back!“
“We visited Pacific Star on a Friday night. We got a seat immediately. The staff were very friendly. The food was good! We had a fun experience with quick service. They have a special seafood soup that was not on the menu. We bought one to go. When we ate it the next day, it was absolutely delicious. This place is a hidden gem. I recommend it!“
“The fried fish is delicious! And the service was great too. It was quiet and calm during lunch time. I'm definitely coming back for crab legs.Vegetarian options: Its all seafood. Theres bacon in the green beans side dish. Its tasty, but probably not a go-to for vegetarians or vegans.Parking: Large shared parking lot in strip mall.“
