Awesome time at the Lobbyist! James, Hannah, and Riley were all stellar bartenders and fun to chat with. The margaritas were wonderful and wine selection was good too. The snacks were also delicious. Can't wait to hang here again on my next trip to Austin!!!
I'm not sure why the Lobbyist has so few reviews. I saw this bar when I was on my way to Zanzibar and thought, I should make sure I stop in here!The liquor selection is fantastic, they have a decent amount of options and enough bartenders it's basically one bar staff per guest. Edward was my bartender, the cocktail list was light, but they were more than willing to go off menu.I ordered a gin fizz, which despite being Edwards first gin fizz he made it on point. Great atmosphere and service. My wife and I snuck down to the Lobbyist one evening and grabbed a couple of drinks. The waiter helped me with a bourbon drink selection, also gave some additional advice on other drinks choices. Great vibe and seat choices; you can sit at the bar or at high-tops as well as chairs with cocktail tables.
