Where do I begin. I'm the King of Random so I visited Texas Mead Works on the fly and had a great experience. Let's start with the staff, beyond friendly and helpful. Stopped by on a spontaneous mead crawl and tried a tasting. We both had tried a few of their meads before, but enjoyed the experience, and tried several new ones each...and of course picked up a handful to take and to share with friends.All in all, great experience!

We've tried many meads from meaderies all over and we weren't expecting much. We were very pleasantly surprised! You can actually smell and taste the fruit and the honey. Don't go expecting wine snobs, these are people who like to taste the fruit, and that requires some sweetness. We bought a bottle and will buy more!
