We've tried many meads from meaderies all over and we weren't expecting much. We were very pleasantly surprised! You can actually smell and taste the fruit and the honey. Don't go expecting wine snobs, these are people who like to taste the fruit, and that requires some sweetness. We bought a bottle and will buy more!

Where do I begin. I'm the King of Random so I visited Texas Mead Works on the fly and had a great experience. Let's start with the staff, beyond friendly and helpful. Very knowledgeable of their selection and will guide you thru your tasting. I've never had mead before and now I'm hooked. The scenery here is beautiful. . .you can feel Texas. I tasted 5 different meads and bought 3 bottles and a jug (don't judge me). The Lucky Monk, I need this delivered to me weekly, it's that good. They offer sleeping quarters as well. Shout out to the young lady behind the bar that made the experience complete. I will definitely be back.

Stopped by on a spontaneous mead crawl and tried a tasting. We both had tried a few of their meads before, but enjoyed the experience, and tried several new ones each...and of course picked up a handful to take and to share with friends.All in all, great experience!

Close to San Antonio this little gem has such fun events. While I wished people wouldn’t bring their children to the goat cuddles events it is still a wonderful place. The staff is always super friendly and the mead selection is so good. Stay a night in their wine barrel hotel room or just come for a visit.

I went to Texas Mead Works today because I tried their products at Wein and Sangerfest last year. The mead and the impeccable service were the highlights of my visit. Susan was absolutely lovely and very accommodating to our order. We had a sample tasting of mead and wine and we went home with a bottleof Lucky Monk mead and raspberry mead. The outdoor seating is incredibly relaxing and it was wonderful to enjoy the scenery. I will certainly be back to enjoy everything they have to offer!
