We had a delicious brunch on the patio today. We really enjoyed the avocado toast Benedict, which featured a perfectly poached egg. We also really enjoyed the pancake, which was huge! Best of all, they have a dog friendly patio with plenty of shade.

The Groove Thai Food is a highly recommended restaurant in San Marcos. The food is delicious, authentic, very flavorful, and fresh, with great portions and many options to customize. The service is fantastic, very good, and attentive, with sweet and kind staff. The restaurant itself is quiet, comfortable, and clean, with a nice interior despite a warehouse-like outside. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing.
Specific dishes mentioned include the Tom Kha, which had a strong fake coconut flavor and was too rich and sweet, needing more lemongrass. The Pad Thai was cooked well and not dry but overly sweet, needing more peanuts and bean sprouts. The C3 Curry with chicken and potatoes, the Pad with chicken and vegetables, and the Khao Gai Ob (SP3) were all good. The panang curry was not too spicy and everything expected. The cream cheese rolls came with a cute little carrot carved into a rose. Complimentary hot cucumber soup is yummy. The unsweetened iced tea, iced Thai coffee, and iced Thai tea were delicious. The chicken cucumber broth is a lovely warm up. The owners are the sweetest people, very accommodating and gracious. The Groove Thai Food is an absolute gem, highly recommended for dates, family, and takeout.
