Today was my first time and DEFINITELY not the last. I got the BLT with cheese and it’s quite possibly the best sandwich I’ve ever had! The service was great and they were playing Billy Joel the whole time I was there. I’ll be back. Also, I HAVE to mention their in-house ranch dressing. I’m a ranch snob and now I have to drive to Georgetown to get my fix!!!!

The brisket is on-point, and the turkey is juicy and smoked, with a great smoked flavor that is not dried out. The menu also features broccoli as a refreshing alternative. The fried okra is well seasoned with spices and hits the mark. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant layout gives a warm, at-home feel. The place is spotless, clean, and well kept. With its friendly service and mouth-watering sampler plates, Jimmy Vega's Smokehouse is a must-visit for BBQ lovers.
