“We got to try Simmer Down Cafe for the first time the other night! I was surprised that there were almost no customers on a Saturday at dinner time. It seems like a pretty cool hangout spot, so maybe it gets busier later in the evening. There's a bar, a patio with seating and a pool table, a little lounge area with couches, and even a few slot machines. The food was basic but not bad, and our waiter was friendly. It's great that they have breakfast options available all day! There were two gentlemen working the whole dining room, so hopefully other staff showed up later. There was nobody behind the bar, and I did overhear one of the gentlemen say that all the bartenders were fired, but maybe he was referring to somewhere else. It's nice to see staff still in good spirits and working hard even with just two of them!“

I went there before I had to go back to work after one of my work deliveries I bought some barbecue beef, turkey & cheese, beef Philly cheesesteak kolaches that is stuffed in bread peach pastry and some Polish sausage with cheese kolaches, orange juice for my coworkers I would recommend that you go earlier because they run out of some of the food items Their food is delicious. I no longer eat pork and alcohol for Christ Jesus and I don't judge others according to what they eat and drink because Christ Jesus drank wine. I drove back to the main work location and continued the rest of my day delivering auto parts“

“The IHOP in Georgetown has a great vibe, with big windows and oak trees all around. We love their food! The manager and staff recognize us and are super friendly. It's usually busy, so you might have a bit of a wait for a table. There's a big lobby to hang out in while you wait.“

The food was amazing, we were surprised with the variety of dishes, we couldn't stop eating, we didn't eat nothing else the rest of the day, it was a wonderful recommendation by Mateo, he was our server a week ago at a Mexican restaurant and then he went above and beyond again, he was hosting, but he brought our drinks because our server was busy.
