Lone Star Kolaches offers a variety of tasty kolaches, including the popular ham and cheese option. The food makes up for the occasional spotty service, with some staff appearing disinterested. The ham and cheese kolache is a standout, especially when ordered at opening time when it's hot and fresh. The menu also features vegetarian options and other flavors like Polish Sausage Sauerkraut and jalapeño kolaches, which customers praise for their juicy sausage and spicy kick. This casual eatery provides a simple, to-go format, making it a great option for a quick bite. Customers find the food to be consistently delicious and satisfying, with the option to have items warmed up upon request. While the ambiance may not be ideal due to a partially missing roof, the quality of the food is impressive. Staff at the window are friendly and helpful, and service is quick and easy. Overall, Lone Star Kolaches is a solid choice for those seeking tasty, satisfying kolaches with good flavor and freshness.
