“Recently enjoyed a late dinner at the IHOP in Pflugerville. Our server George was awesome. Very attentive and we enjoyed our delicious entrees! Food was hot and fresh! Him being the only server I was absolutely amazed how he handed each table and was very on point with everything! He is incredible! That man deserves to be MANAGER! He host, serves and cooks. Just by observing him I could tell he has a lot to do but he did it with a smile. We need more people like him! Will definitely be back! Thank you George for making our experience tonight amazing!“

“I’m not really a breakfast person but this place does it right!!! Wonderful selections that give you as many savory choices as it does sweet. Loved everything I got! The lemon curd yogurt was pretty nice. If you want eggs, order the Migas!!

Accommodating as well if you need something customized a certain way.

While we were eating I had made a funny face without realizing it and the owner/manager was passing by and immediately checked in and asked if the food was okay and asked if the coffee was hot enough. She did this while running around doing a million other things. So attentive and in tune and I love to see it. Will definitely be back!

“I came two days ago with my two boys and my husband. The food was amazing, we were surprised with the variety of dishes, we couldn't stop eating, we didn't eat nothing else the rest of the day, it was a wonderful recommendation by Mateo, he was our server a week ago at a Mexican restaurant and then he went above and beyond again, he was hosting, but he brought our drinks because our server was busy. We will definitely come again soon.“

We all know it’s a standard offering on breakfast menus everywhere but the First Watch offering is the best I’ve ever eaten the gravy and the biscuit are wonderfully rich and satisfying (the biscuit is as light as a feather ) the golden cinnamon roll was an awesome unexpected treat. our server was Marisa She was very attentive and kind.“

Servers are almost always the nicest, even when it’s busy.

“Had a wonderful time at this waffle house. The cook with the pink hair did an amazing job! One employee (not our server, who was also wonderful) kept us entertained with an almost incontrollable laughter with the recounting of his stories. He even had every customer engaging simultaneously giving their input at one point. He is why I go to waffle house. There is great food, great service, and the feeling of family. Especially with the wonderfully colorful people like the "standup comedian" they have.“

“Chill dude(cashier). It's fast and not bad. The gravy is thick, but it's kinda bland. The biscuits are small and somewhat fluffy. Do try their orange juice its freshly squeezed, it was hella good. This place is roughly the same price as an ihop or dennys. Honestly, you got to sit down and eat it as soon as you get it because it will get soggy. Plenty of seating, and they are organized when it comes to ordering. My biggest complaint is finding parking, I had to drive in circles just to find somewhere to park.

Parking: Hard, might need to park across the street, like the apartments or gas station. Hated parking in front of someone's home :(.“

“The best Waffle House I ever went to the food and service was amazing especially the service there was a red head young lady tha was very nice and attentive to our needs she made the atmosphere feel like home and because of her service I will recommend the Waffle House on 290 10 out of 10 service and 20 out of 10 food equality“

“Fries were a little overcooked, but the fact there was only one lady in the kitchen she did an amazing job. The cook could have just used someone else to help her with the orders. Our waitress was just downright amazing! Brenda was a sweet, kind, mature lady with a very high and kind ora! She came over with a smile on her face, showing she purely loved her job and getting to see people face to face and communicated amazingly! Brenda definitely should get a paid vacation day or two for her remarkable service so late and working the floor alone!“
