McDonald's in Georgetown

“I live much closer to the other Georgetown location but always come to this one. The service is better. It's not a nightmare to get in and out of like the other location. My order has been pretty consistently correct. And most importantly, I generally get fries that are actually warm.“

“I wanted to do a 1 star but that would not be fair to all the other times it was good. So I will do a 4 star.

We visit this McDonald's every Wednesday after practice, and we usually have a great experience, which is why tonight was so disappointing.

We placed our order at 9:14 PM on July 29, 2026. The young lady with the long black hair who was taking orders was extremely rude from the very beginning. I simply tried to explain something about our order at the first window, and she spoke to me like I was stupid. She was short with us, had a snappy attitude, wasn't listening to what we were saying, and overall made us feel like we were an inconvenience instead of valued customers.

When we pulled up to the second window, I politely tried to let the employee handing out the food know about our experience. Instead of listening, she simply shut the window in my face while I was trying to speak.

I completely understand that everyone has bad days, and customer service can be stressful. However, it's never okay to take those frustrations out on customers. Everyone deserves to be treated with basic respect.

We've been coming here every Wednesday after practice for a long time because we've always had good experiences. That's what made tonight so surprising and disappointing. I hope management addresses this so it doesn't happen to other customers.“

“Listen, I always feel so silly leaving reviews. And leaving a review for a fast food place seems even sillier. But this McDonald’s slaps, The food is always fresh, the service is always great. I occasionally have to wait a long time, but my order is never wrong and everyone who works there is so kind about it. During the ice storm, they were out there, busting up the ice, taking care of their patrons and making sure people could get in and out of the line. Even if I move further away from This McDonald’s, I will drive over here just because of how delicious it always is.“
