Best donuts in town! That's why they've won awards for their donuts ! I specifically love the plain cake donuts. It's the perfect recipe and they fry it for the right amount of time. They also have cinnamon twists and glazed donuts I recommend. The staff is always friendly and warm. It's one of the few donuts shops in the Austin metro that are open 7 days a week. Thats hard to find for a family owned business. Keep up the great work. 👍🏼 🍩

I was in a rush to get some treats for my team for Nurses’ Month so I stopped here. My first time trying it, but usually cannot go wrong with mom n pop donut shops. I got a variety of kolaches which were good, but what I had never seen or heard of before was the bacon, egg, and potato bun (or kolache). Based on the reviews, Good Day Donuts is a hidden gem and hole-in-the-wall donut shop worth trying. It is a mom n pop shop with super friendly people. The inside is dated and did not feel super clean, with a dirty table and floor, but the restaurant offers a drive-thru. The donuts are very tasty, fresh, and light with a wide selection. Customers enjoyed sprinkle donuts that came with a free plastic ring in the center, cream cheese pastries, and kolaches that are some of the best in Texas. Specific meals mentioned include the bacon, egg, and potato bun, which was one of the tastiest savory buns ever, and the potato egg cheese tacos with a great portion.
