“I am unsure as to a review of Qi as a vegan. Nothing is marked vegan on the menu, although our waitress said there were a few things that could be made vegan. We were told the fried & steamed dumplings, scallion pancake, and tofu/rice dish were all vegan, but Im just not sure as our waitress seemed a bit confused at times would really be nice to mark items as vegan on the menu, especially for allergy sensitivities. I did think everything was delicious though and very creative.“
“Absolutely incredible dining experience! Went last night with the husband and the night from start to finish was amazing. The entire team was wonderful, from the extremely personable and friendly host for the night (I believe his name was Kavian) to all the chefs, staff and a great surprise was meeting Chef Ling herself! The courses were to die for and the portions were perfect. We can't wait to come back and share the experience with some friends!“
“Spicy beef noodle soup: 4/5 noodles cooked perfectly. Broth is spicy and hits right in the back of the throat. Veggies really soak up the spice. Beef pieces were limited and weird cuts.pork/shrimp/chive dumplings fried: 4/5 very chive forward. Whole chuck of shrimp in the middle. On its own, not super flavorful but dipped them in our spicy noodle soup or dumpling sauce.Xiaolong soup dumplings: 5/5 my favorite item we got. Soup inside was flavorful. Dumpling skin was thick enough to hold everything together and not fall apart when picking it up.You can order thru QR code or order at register. I'd come back to order the xiaolong bao fried.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp leading right to the door“
“Lin’s has the best soup dumplings in Austin. However, we consistently have bad service here and leave slightly disappointed. Tonight, our waitress accidentally dumped an entire glass of water on my boyfriend and he was soaked the rest of the meal. The books we bought before dinner were wet. Our waitress apologized but said “it’s just water”. Accidents happen, but we shouldn’t have to complain and whine to receive decent service. Probably won’t be back for a while.“
“Long live Ling Wu’s! This is hands down our family’s favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. We also leave feeling happy with the outstanding food and service. We always come here for special occasions or if we need a pick me up if we’ve had a rough week. We love the whole team here!“
“We got the vegan and soup dumplings along with scallion pancakes. The scallion pancakes were crispy on the outside but they were doughy on the inside. It tasted good but the texture felt off. The vegan and soup dumplings were good.We were hoping to try the rice noodles but they were out of stock. Something to try for the next time. They have a decent selection of dumplings.“
“Chengdu chilli chicken was yummy if you like spicy red chilies in your chicken. It also had asparagus beans and carrots in it. Also tried hot and sour soup was deliciousPeople were very friendly and welcoming great vibe. Checks all boxes for a nice Chinese place right around the corner“
“By happenstance my fiancé and I tried Special Noodle. On first glance, the restaurant was very clean and modern. Ordering was easy and it helped to have photos included in their app. The food and service were top notch. Everything arrived hot and I appreciated the availability of condiments at the table. The only criticism we had was that the honey walnut shrimp didn't look like the picture that was advertised and it was over battered/way too sweet. Everything else that we ordered was delicious. We will definitely be visiting Special Noodle again!“
“Megan was a lovely server. She made perfect recommendations and I could tell she herself was a fan!! The food was super fantastic. The food was delivered hot and the wait wasn't even long. I learned Sergio was the main chef yesterday and his attention to detail as well as presentation were perfection. YUM and YUM times a million.“
“We went to Jade Asian Fusion restaurant for dinner. Service was friendly and food quite delicious. They have nice bar and a huge rack of wines. We ordered Moo Shu Pork and shrimp fried rice. The quantity of both were so huge we could not finish them. We ended up carrying most of these home. Parking is plenty. Had no problem with it. Fairly good selection of vegetarian options in the menu too. Overall quite pleased and would recommend.Parking: Restaurant is in a strip mall. Plenty of paring was available.“
“It's sad that this place doesn't get more attention. Their dimsum and peking duck (top notch skin) are amazing, and the fact that I don't have to go eat these at certain time on certain days is a huggge plus over New Fortune or Bamboo House.“
“The ambiance at this restaurant is truly exceptional, and the food is great. However, I believe there's room for improvement in the vegetarian options; some dishes were explicitly unavailable ( The curries had shrimp paste in them, which cannot be removed ) in vegetarian versions. Nevertheless, it's a fantastic spot for a date night, with a bustling atmosphere and live music adding to the charm. I highly recommend trying the Vegan Yellow Curry—it was a standout dish, even though I initially hesitated to order it. As for cocktails, the Tropical Asian was absolutely fantastic.Vegetarian options: I recommend talking to the waiter before you order as the base of veg curries also have shrimp paste which cannot be removed.“
