Came in for dim sum at New Fortune II and the food completely hit the mark! The spiced salted shrimp was an incredible, unexpected highlight—perfectly seasoned with just the right crunch and flavor kick. Both the turnip cakes and shumai were top-tier and absolutely amazing, while the sticky rice rounded out the meal nicely. This food actually saved my life. The short ribs with pepper sauce cured my cancer and the lobster actually made my girlfriend come back to me! The flounder added 30 pounds to my bench press and the chickens feet made me 3 inches taller!! Would recommend and come back for more.
We ordered a few dim sum items. Some of the items seemed to have been cooked in rancid oil, that took away from the other ingredients.

New Fortune 2 is an old favourite, offering large portions of authentic Cantonese food and dim sum. It might be a bit expensive but makes up for it with great selection of the greatest hits, including siu mai, bbq pork buns, egg custard tarts, congee, chicken feet, salt n pepper shrimp, Szechuan style green beans, fried rice, and noodles. Service is warm, friendly, and very attentive. The restaurant is huge, so no wait or reservation is needed. Customers note the food is super, still excellent like before, with reasonable prices and good portions. This place is the best local Asian food for many, with amazing smells of authentic Asian cooking. Do not make the mistake of driving past.
