There’s some good pizza joints popping up around town, and some of their pies I may like slightly better, but Pedroso’s scratches my nostalgia itch for the pizza shops back home that those other places don’t. Love this joint and the diversity of offerings that you just don’t see anywhere else in town.
I'm from Chicago and for those who's been to Paulie Gee's this is what Pedroso's Pizza remind me of. They have your classic NY Style to Grandma to Sicilian style pizzas. It's always made fresh and they sell pizza by the slices during their lunch hours. Their NY style pepperoni and ricotta cheese was delicious. Stopped by here for a quick lunch and it did not disappoint. The lady that took the order was very friendly. Only waited for about 10 minutes and our order came out. We ordered 3 slices of pizza and an ice tea. The price was $21 with tip. And I'll tell you-it was more than worth it. To begin with the slices are HUGE! And the crust is so crispy.
