“My family has been going to Baris since it opened in 1997 when we lived in Pflugerville. My youngest son turned 21 and requested Baris for his birthday last night. We haven't been for a few years as we moved about 30 minutes away. It was so much fun visiting an old fave. Food quality is amazing, the menu hasn't changed and we were delighted to see the daughter that was bussing tables as a kid is now running the restaurant. Such a local gem. “Brandon the general manager and Johnathan our server were beyond fantastic! We were a ginormous party of 43 people MOSTLY teenagers (band kiddos coming from state solo & ensemble) and we were greeted with the biggest smiles and happiest group of guys ready to help us feed our kiddos dinner! Drinks and food were fast and served with a smile. These guys deserve more than 5 stars, if the RBB is ever back in Pflugerville we will definitely be making a stop back over here!! “My family stumbled onto Mandola’s ItalianKitchen in Odessa Florida. What a delightful restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was excellent. We were greeted at the door by the manager, Chris. He explained how the restaurant ordering and seating worked. We ordered at the counter, where the young woman patiently took our order, clarifying along the way. The wine selection for the casual environment was impressive. We were given a table number and we found a seat. Immediately someone brought warm focaccia bread and Italian oil to dip it in. Our food arrived at our table surprisingly quick. The portions were huge (luckily we were provided to-go boxes when we were ready to leave) The servers were friendly and professional. The chefs were visible as they prepared the food. Our used dishes were removed promptly as we finished one course after another. Then Chris, the manager who first greeted us, came to our table to ensure that our experience had been not just satisfactory, but excellent. Which it was! We are putting Mandola’s Odessa on our favorite restaurant list for when we return to Tampa. Thank you!“

“Our server was Anthony, he was so patient and attentive to our elderly parents and really made us feel like family as cheesy as that is. The service was fantastic, the manager came over to chat and ask how everything was which was a nice touch. The food was delicious and the portions were good sized. We even took advantage of the $10 take away meal they have for our son at home. The hosts held the door for us on the way out and they even had mints! I think this will become a go to spot for us in the future.“

“I made an order from here the other day off of grubhub because I had a really bad craving for pasta!! Unfortunately with the terrif etc pasta has become very expensive when eating out so I hardly ever go out for italian now!! Also there are delivery fees. I was very pleased with my order. I choose mangia la because they had a aged cheese on the spaghetti and it was soooo good!! I really do recommend this place everything was good and well packaged!!

We had Father's Day with two fathers and were happy to enjoy an old favorite. Our table of six had complimentary salad because tables of five or more get it!

I asked if they could mix minestrone with chicken gnocchi (smoothes out the acidic tomato broth) and they did.

Generous helpings and excellent service from Caleb - he's a trainer and was on any needs we had!

“This was my first time ordering DoubleDave’s. My daughter’s school was having a fundraiser and 20% of our order went to them so I thought I would try it out. I ordered two pizzas and a salad online for delivery and the food arrived pretty fast, however, only the pizza arrived. Honestly, I didn’t feel like calling the restaurant to complain that we didn’t get our small salad so we just ate the pizza and said all well. Then I got a text that our salad would be arriving asap and not even 5 min later the delivery driver was at our door apologizing. Now we order food for delivery at least twice a week from various restaurants and we understand things get forgotten, but NEVER have I had a delivery driver actually return to the store to get the item and bring it to us after it was forgotten ESPECIALLY without me even complaining about it. This act alone will bring us back to DoubleDaves in the future because customer service is key. But also the food was spectacular!“

“Excellent experience here. Showed up just after 4pm on Mother's Day and was seated promptly, though it was already almost full. Had our baby with us and thought I read they had highchairs, but they actually didn't. It's a pretty small space though, so I can understand them not being able to fit them. Baby sat in my lap. House wines were good. Pizzas were EXCELLENT. If you like wood fired Neapolitan, this is the place for you. We tried three veggie pizzas (potato, zucchini, and mushroom). Each was unique and fantastic: the potato was creamy and garlicky, the zucchini was citrusy with a little spice, and the mushroom was savory and rich. The happy hour prices are very reasonable for the quality. Finally, we got a chocolate torte for dessert not expecting anything special but holy moly it was delicious! One of the best slices of chocolate cake we have had, and I'm a fairly harsh critic. Moist, almond flour cake base, not too sweet but with a TON of flavor. The frosting was an orange-infused mascarpone and wow, I mean superb. The combo of flavors was to die for. Service was great too. Nothing to fault, besides maybe being a little cramped. We will definitely be back!“

“We went to the Research Blvd Marcos the other day. The pizza was so yummy. I wanted to contact the manager to let him know we accidentally packed up one of their pizza pans when I was sliding my mom's leftovers into the box. Just noticed today. I will bring it back ASAP. Sorry for that; we've been kind of out of it lately. But that was really good pizza, even for Marcos. We feel lucky to have such a nice pizza chain. Before we even realized the cheese bread was missing, they showed back up about 15 minutes later with it and apologized for the mistake.
