“our first visit here, I don’t know why we took so long to visit…We’ve been in Leander over a decade…anyway, I’ve heard great things about this restaurant, and it’s so true! we came here for our anniversary, and the food was amazing atmosphere and service…yum!!!! can’t wait to come back!“

“I rarely eat pizza, but when I get a craving it's for Double Dave's pizza rolls. The only downside is that they are inconsistent in the size of the rolls. At $2 a piece they should be a good standard size always and they're just not. But they are the PERFECT answer for a pizza craving when you don't need/want a whole pizza!

Parking: The lot is very small for as many businesses are here, so be prepared to walk a little ways to get to the shop if the spots in front aren't open.“

“After exhaustive decision making and a recommendation I decided to visit Tuscano for my birthday dinner. Made a reservation and was a few minutes late(but within the time window) and the staff were very welcoming. We were seating and were delivered by far the best Italian bread I’ve had since moving to Austin. The Burrata Caprese was an excellent starter. Our mains were the Chicken Marsala and Brisket Bolognese. My Marsala was amazing and had an excellent flavor. I did get a bite of the Bolognese, may even give that a go next time. Our waiter extremely friendly and the bus staff were equally attentive. We’ll be back!“

“Tried the Baked Penne with marinara sauce tonight and it was one of the best things I’ve eaten in the Austin area. The marinara tastes fresh, it was nice and chunky but cooked down well, sodium level was spot on without any sweetness to it, great garlic level - delicious without being overpowering. The pasta was cooked perfectly. Good mouth feel, not mealy, not too hard or soft, held up well to the fork and wasn’t overbaked. Perfect amount of mozzarella - they weren’t stingy with it and it was complimentary to the amount of pasta and sauce. The best thing about it is the large dollops of ricotta on top - it offers a beautiful creaminess against the acidity of the tomatoes that balances really well, and it was a pleasant surprise. I think there are a lot of Italian places around here that wouldn’t think of adding this to a dish, either because of the bottom line or just a lack of desire to update a classic. For the amount of pasta you get and the quality and flavor you get, I would pay twice as much as the current menu price at $6.99 - amazing value. Definitely putting this place on “The List.”“

“We live locally and this was our first time here. The pizza was delicious and the Caesar salad dressing seemed homemade and was on point. Our friend got the meatball sub and said it was fantastic. The bar is super cute, has a fun vibe and was clean and homey. The owner also went out of his way to present different wines for us to taste after the waitress let us know the wine we selected was not available. What an impressive first visit! This will be a regular for us now for sure.“
