“We met friends while traveling from San Antonio to the DFW area. FD had really good food at a reasonable price. We had a group of 8 and spent over $200, including tip. We just felt rushed by the server. She brought the bill before it was requested and kept checking back. I didn't get a refill of my water, but the food was pleasant surprise in Pflugerville, TX.“

“We drove into the area for a few errands and, per the usual, I he time of the morning was just right to add Round Rock Donuts to the list of stop.Drive through was stretched around the block, but there were a few spaces open in the quaint lot. We rolled into a spot, I remained while the wife and toddler went to grab something amazing…Some customers were already in a line hanging out of the entrance into the middle of a covered patio. Weather was cool, early spring, however, she was going through the entrance about 8 minutes after being the last person in line.About 6 min passed before a notable silhouette happily stepped through the swath of waiting customers, a visible newly adopted hoppity hop in her step indicated a happy Mommy!23 minutes in all from entering the parking lot to exiting. 2 dozen glazed donut holes, half dozen glazed and 1/2 dozen chocolate donuts… this glaze… you just can’t get it anywhere else and if you had it decades ago with the original store, then you KNOW this glaze today. Sweets for your soul!Careful… if you are one of those early adopters that is finally making their way back to their roots… the original store burned down a few years back and the new store was constructed in the same location.If you haven’t been yet… bucket list donuts… get some of that goodness for your soul!Parking: Parking lot spaces are maxed out and that does make It difficult for larger vehicles to squeeze around. There’s always at least 2 cars that go around the lot the wrong way. Keep your eyes open!Kid-friendliness: Donuts, holes, other sweets… definitely kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking lot does have accessible spots and through to the building.“
“The portions are large, and it’s worth around $40 for two. They also have a keto bowl too. I love to make my own bowl. I really like all options they have like the jalapeño is nice and spicy and the crispy onion and nori and seaweed just makes everything go well together. I got the salmon and tuna and they were cut into nice cubes size. I do wish they have more fish options but it was delicious.“

“I went alone during a slow lunch period and got a cold cuts sandwich. It tasted quite good. The biggest issue was the wait time. It took them 10 minutes to take my order, then it took them 25 minutes to make a sandwich. The service was friendly but slow.Probably a great place to get a pizza while hanging out with friends, but the wait brought my experience down. Not a bad place, though.“
“I would give the service an extra star if I could. Uchiko is definitely a place for special occasions and you should absolutely make that here. The food was amazing, well explained, and they did a great job accommodating for a food allergy, and even asked us if we wanted to try something new and it was excellent. The food is top quality, service is as good as you can get, and the atmosphere was great (though we got there early). Cannot recommend enough.“
“Food and drinks are high quality. Service was excellent. We had a large party of 12 and made the reservation about 2 weeks ahead. Most of the party arrived 30 minutes early and we waited in the bar area per the hostess' request. I'm pretty sure our table was ready by the 15 minutes-- til 4 pm mark, but the hostess didn't let us know, until 5 minutes after our reservation, and I had to ask to be seated. With that being said, the Manager that was standing at host stand the entire time started eye balling our family table glancing down at his watch, staring at us... and repeated about every 5 minutes. This started about 1.30 hours into our meal. We had birthday cake and a few presents. I noticed he did the same thing for another large party. It was just okward and weird and we felt too rushed to eat, drink and visit with family. I'm pretty sure our ticket was well over $600. There was a wait at the door but I noticed about 5 empty tables/booths at that time. Maybe next time just let folks enjoy their company without having a passive-aggressive manager peering down their steps of service and timing their stay. 2 hours was not enough time to permit him doing that. Next time we will go somewhere else with the large party.“
“I love uppercrust, but ever since they changed the bearclaw recipe, I've been disappointed... it was better before. It was tender and bready and chewy and had a good amount of filling. I think they changed it to the croissant dough, and I love a croissant, but it doesn't work with the bearclaw for me! They had a special and unique thing there that nowhere else had, and now it's always dry, kind of tough, and sometimes the filling is just a log of cream cheese and somehow a log of intact (not melted) chocolate. At this point I'd rather go somewhere else than face the disappointment of my favorite pastry in austin being gone. I've given it so many chances since the recipe change and it's just not what I want! I loved it before!!! Change it back pleeeeaaaasseeeeeee.They have a lot of other great stuff though... their coconut cream pie has a layer of chocolate between the crust and the filling and the whole thing is delicious.“
“Went there yesterday with my friend for the first time. The place is so cute. It seems to be busy all the time. We got different pastries and milk tea. I loved their boba milk tea, I had to take one to go for my husband to try because it was so delicious. We also got the chocolate croissant, cream cheese brioche, mochi egg tart, regular egg tart, and coffee pastry. Of course we took most of them to go, they’re so delicious, some of them still taste good the next day. Will definitely be back, and will always recommend, everything taste so fresh and good. Everyone is nice and friendly. And it has a casual atmosphere. Great place.“
“Our group was taken of by Sue who was more than exceptional. Her care for us was beyond what we could've expected. Food was extremely good, they didn't have to wash the dinnerware, we wiped everything from the plate. The only caveat for me (I'm 72yrs old) was the seating. The chairs after a while were uncomfortable and the table for 4 was cramped. But over all we will return just to be with Sue once again.“

“This BBQ joint is absolutely amazing! The sausage and brisket are delicious but the ribs are out of this world! I really enjoyed the mustard-based sauce. The spicy version is not too spicy. I recommend trying both. The colesaw is some of the best I have had. Even the bean and potato salad was good. We had 14 people in our party and they had no problem seating us. The service was very friendly. This was the place recommended to us when we came to visit by locals and I am so glad we came!“

“We came in trying to cut thru the parking lot and deceided to stop in. It was our first time even though we lived in this neighborhood about 12 years ago. When you walk in it smells like bread. They bake everything everyday and when they are out of something it is out. My daughter wanted to try the morning bread but apparently we took too long and it was snatched up. I ended up getting the Spinach Feta Danish which was good. It was the perfect blend of spinach and danish. I didn't think it would mesh but it did. I also got the Caramel Apple Pie which I eat later. My daughter got the Foliage Sausage Bread which she loved. It was soft enough that it didn't mess with her braces and she said it felt she was in another country. She also got the Vanilla Cream Doughnut which she had immediately after the sausage bread and she loved it. I tried it and it was better than any doughnut I have had. I also got the Honey Lavender Matcha Latte and I will say I have tried matcha at a couple places trying to figure it out. I think I found the one I like. It does pick up bc as soon as we got ours the place started picking up. They have tons of seating inside and outside. They offer free wifi but I had no need for it. They have signs advising to that since it is so fresh to eat same day or within a day. I can honestly say that this would be a hike from S Austin that I am willing to take. We will definitely be back so my daughter can get that morning bread and so I can try more.“
“I planned to go to Chinatown North for dim sum but the sign at the entrance said to head downstairs for dim sum, where Street is below. The waiter said they are connected but different establishments and the dim sum servers upstairs would come from the lower kitchen anyway. I ate here with a close friend after wrapping up weekend meetings in Austin. The place has a good vibe and friendly service, quite modern and clean. We shared six items and everything had great flavor, with the turnip cake and prawn siu mai being my favorites. Above average pricing for dim sum but I think that comes with the experience. Good spot for a date or with friends. I would go back.Parking: Free parking lot around the building.“

“We ended up having to end our dinner abruptly, when the manager was making rounds she asked how we were doing and we asked for togos for all of our food and the check. She was so sweet, brought togos and helped pack up the food. Our waiter was also super sweet and the food was delicious as usual. Thank you guys for going above and beyond.“

“The restaurant has a great selection of delicious and affordable Japanese food. I’ve ordering here for a while now and the fishes are always fresh and the sushi pieces are big. They have an amazing gyoza and special sushi rolls. Also, they offer lunch specials with a great price (Monday to Saturday from 11:00-2:30pm).“
“I appreciate the smaller menu that made it easier for me to choose what to eat. I got the garden bowl plate with chicken added and my friends got the poke bowls. The portions were huge! I would have split with one of my friends as I ended up having to throw away some of my food afterwards which I hate doing. :( the food is fresh and I love how healthy you end up feeling. The service was wonderful as she gave us some of her recommendations and was very friendly. I love how the booths have pillows which add to the atmosphere in creating a cozy space to relax and eat. They are environmentally friendly with paper straws and reusable dishware that is great to see!! The food was delicious. The peanut sauce made my dish a sweet flavor and when mixed with the teriyaki chicken was very enjoyable. Things are prices quite reasonably - I spent $12 for two mini pies, a cookie, and a brownie. There is one outdoor table with two chairs if you want to snack while you're there.Dietary restrictions: Free of top allergens - nuts, gluten, dairy, soy, and more! And they only use oat flour in one product which is great for celiac people who react to avenin.“

“One of our most favorite sandwich places is Ike’s sandwich shops. We have come here a lot of times. I think i love their versatile menu and how many choices they have for vegetarians and vegans.Their World famous Dutch crunch bread is my favorite choice for my sandwich. It tastes so good. My husband usually orders Friday the 13th. For vegetarian they have vegan chicken, vegan beef, eggplant, vegan bacon in sandwiches almost 20 varieties. I love their James and Giant peach and Barbette, even though I have tried a couple more and also loved it. I also recommend getting their freebies with dirty sauce. It’s so good.They have cool names for their sandwiches too. I also like their Voodoo flavored chips and Mandarin, cardamom and turmeric drink.Overall it’s a must try restaurant and you’ll keep coming back for more.Vegetarian options: They have clearly labeled vegetarian and vegan sandwiches. An entire section with about approximately 25 sandwiches.“

We got there 15 minutes before closing so I asked the girl behind the counter if it was ok that we still order something … she responded with an attitude, “iF iTs QuIcKkKk”… Eww.What scoop of ice cream isn’t quick? And aren’t you still open anyways? Like girl, I worked in the service industry for 10 years and we were never allowed to respond to anyone like that. “This is a really chill cafe where you can get a lot of work done. They bake this fresh at their other location every day and then bring it over to this location and other cafes.I like that it’s not cold or loud and the wifi is great. “I usually stop at Fleming’s for happy hour but Friday we decided to drop in for dinner. This is a great spot for a quiet dinner. The food and service are great. I will say not all their side dishes are the same quality so choose carefully, but the steaks are perfect every time. They have a great wine selection and some glasses are very reasonably priced for the quality. All in all great experience for a quiet dinner“

“Baked 'n Sconed is in the building I used to crank donuts out in before going to college. I remember that location fondly and was so happy to see another shop going in. Their scones are incredible, service quick, and the coffee hot and delicious. I'm partial to the cherry turnovers and won't ever pass an opportunity to pick one up. It is a small space with some tables, a sofa, and a bar to sit at. There is also a picnic table outside. I do see some folks working out of the location, but it doesn't seem you'd be able to park it there for a long time. I highly advise checking it out and getting a ham+cheese croissant!“

“Such a cute little spot. The coffee is really good, but most coffee tastes good to me so... but was nice to have all the vegan options without the upcharge. The vegan baked goods really stood out, though. I don't know how they do some of it, and I cook a lot. Will be back regularly!“
“The wings and cocktails were great, but my server, Julianna, was the best. She came to check on me and my family and brought us everything we needed before our food even came out. Our drinks were made fast and correctly while our food came out in less than 10 minutes. Great service and great family friendly restaurant!“
“My wife finally finished her Masters thesis project on a Saturday night so I wanted to surprise & celebrate her big achievement the next day with sweets, however I couldn't find a place that was either open on Sunday or a place that did not require an order placed in advance. Suga's Cakery (Patricia) thankfully was open and after chatting with her via her website, I placed an order for 6 different cupcakes.No B.S., these were the most delicious cupcakes my wife and I had ever eaten & we come from NYC and have eaten at Magnolia Bakery when it was all the rage. Patricia's cake was moist, the icing just the right amount of sweet, and you can taste that these were handmade and made by someone who puts care into their baking.Besides the fantastic cupcakes, Patricia is the warmest and sweetest baker. After about 15 mins she text me that the order was ready. I went to pick them up & told her why I was buying the cupcakes, she took a cupcake into the back and wrapped the top in fondant with a "Congrats" written on top to celebrate my wife's accomplishment.What a wonderful, thoughtful gesture! You will not find that kind of above & beyond service at a supermarket or other big box store where you can purchase cakes & sweets. We like to support local small business and Suga's Cakery has two new life-long customers. A truly great place to indulge when that sweet tooth acts up. I promise that you will not be disappointed!“
