“Great cozy atmosphere inside the restaurant. Welcoming staff and quickly found us a table.Food is tasty and servers are helpful in case of any questions.Didn’t have to wait a lot between courses.Definitely worth a try.Closest to authentic Japanese cuisine as you’ll get in south Austin.“
“First time trying Argentine cuisine- these guys knocked it out of the park! We were there celebrating a birthday, couldn’t have picked a better place in Austin. Impressed by the homely and cozy atmosphere. Food drinks and dessert are just delicious! Definitely try empanadas and desserts on display. Wish I had taken photos of food. Going back for sure!“
“"Cypress Grill is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, the inviting atmosphere sweeps you away. The decor is charming, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. But the real star of the show is the food. Every dish bursts with flavor and freshness, showcasing the chef's mastery of Louisiana cuisine. Whether you're indulging in their perfectly seasoned seafood or savoring their mouthwatering Cajun classics, every bite is a culinary delight. Plus, the portions are generous, ensuring you leave satisfied every time. Cypress Grill is truly a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Southern hospitality and delicious, comforting fare."“
“The experience was so incredible that we went for lunch and for dinner all in the same day. We walked in, greeted with incredible hospitality, and we walked out, feeling like family. The tastes of India were scrumptious, and so much more than your typical American Indian food. The authenticity was genuine. Madly in love with this place and with the owners.“
“Some of the best food in Austin! You have to try this place. The flavors are amazing! The chefs are artists. The staff is friendly and engaging. They really care about your dining experience. Our waiter, Greg, was fantastic! (Pictured below). Ask for him and you won’t be sorry. We had the Gorgonzola ravioli, pimento cheese dip, and the Texas fried shrimp. ( also pictured below). I’ve had fried shrimp many times but what they serve here is hands down the best I’ve ever had! I hated pimento cheese, but can’t stop eating it here. Even their sides are delicious. Check it out! You won’t be disappointed.“
“Very cute little mom & pop bakery and cafe. My wife and I came here for breakfast a few years ago and we came here for lunch with our three kids today. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was great. The cinnamon roll straight-up ridonkulous! ❤️Parking: Plenty of parking in front and in the back.“
“I was really impressed with how good the coffee was! I was visiting from out of town and was not optimistic about my options. The espresso based drinks were excellent. We enjoyed their baked goods overall but I would say that many of them are overly sweet to my tastes, even the ones that are not glazed or frosted. My kids had no problem with this though! The place has a lot of good seating options both inside and outside and the overall vibe makes it a great place to relax and enjoy your coffee.“
“We had been seeing advertisements for this place so we stopped for a quick late breakfast (10am) but they were sold out of most hot and savory items. We purchased what was available and we wanted to sit and eat but seating was very meager so we ate in the car.We also ordered king cake - kind of pricey - but well made.“
“Had an amazing meal this evening! We had the coconut curry squash and it was probably the best we’ve had in recent memory. The owner came over and chatted with us and is very sweet. Highly recommend! Definitely should check this place out.“
“We were on our way to Barton Creek Pool from Hamilton Pool. It’s a beautiful little shop. We have couple of coffees for us and our friends. They have a huge choice of flavors for coffee. My chai latte was great. We thought that the vanilla latte can do better.“
“We have made this our go-to place when we want to see a movie. It is a little expensive, but all prices are listed, so there's no shock. Also, the gratuity is auto-added and well deserved (in my opinion) because every staff member here has been very nice and attentive.“
“We were looking for a good coffee place to go to after a late night. This was exactly what we were looking for. The kolache hit the spot, the donuts were amazing and the cold brew was delicious. Not to mention the people were in good spirits and very kind. We will be going there again ?Parking: We went at about 1230pm on a Monday so it may be more busy at other times“
“Amazing donuts! Amazing kola he's of regular and jumbo size. And there is this spinach pastry that is like a delicious hand held spinach quiches for breakfast. It was buttery, flakey and delicious. The staff is awesome too. The lady that owns it makes kids feel so special and welcomed and puts smiles and everyone's face. She works with her son who is jusy as friendly and engaging.Kid-friendliness: She greets every kid with a big "hello!" Makes them all feel good and smile!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“I've been coming here for 26 years. Family run and you feel like family when you come in. Great margaritas and staff! I love their breakfast, lunch specials (crispy beef tacos(!), and dinner-steak a la Mexicana, Carne guisada, stuffed avocado. We love La Posada!“
“The food is consistent which is good. You always know what you’re going to get. The employees are nice. Most of our problems are in the bench seats where I notice many busy their knees on the benches, can’t get the seats out and sit on them without blocking others walking by, and they’re difficult to put back in. I’m glad though that they fix their gates quickly because it seems kids are always breaking them. Twice though I’ve noticed there being broken gates but no one had used other means to keep them closed. Toddlers were running into the street constantly on that day and with parents being unable to see around the playscape, it made it pretty scary. Heating is another issue. There’s heaters on cold days but it seems like they’re only in one spot. All of the parents were trying to find tables that had consistent heat so we all tried to find chairs at about three tables that had heat but didn’t want to make anyone uncomfortable. No chairs available inside and even if we went inside, we wouldn’t be able to see our kids outside. The trash cans are constantly overflowing with no employee able to break away to clean them out until the crowd has slowed down. Trash blowing in the wind, trash all over the ground, trash cans covered in ketchup. Needing more trash cans or someone designated to check constantly.New Edit: They really need to take some effort in cleaning the gross grime buildup on the tables and chairs. You can see hand oil, food oils, and dirt in layers on the chairs. It’s disgusting.“
“they were open after 8 on Christmas Eve and the sign said they were open Christmas morning!! #savedtheday. We needed a few last minute items for Christmas Day with the grandparents and they saved us!! Such nice staff and a great selection of items!“
“Very popular venue with great burgers/sandwiches, other comfort foods, fries, onion rings, shakes, and sodas.Parking: Easy, on-site parking lotKid-friendliness: Very family friendly, with a clean kid's play area, great warmth from patrons and staff, with a definitive sense of inclusion for all present.Wheelchair accessibility: Can be crowded, as it's popular, however, accommodations are readily available, and the environment is thoughtfully accessible for anyone in need of extra space or gentle slopes to ramp to wherever needed.“
“We've been going here regularly for 6 years now. Always good food and good service. It's fun when there's a band. I generally get a half oyster half shrimp poboy and my husband likes the gumbo and etouffee. They're muffalettas are good too. It's not as good as NOLA, but it is as good as it gets in Austin and we always leave happy.“
“I love this location so much, i work at the ulta near by and i come in almost every day for my lunch, and the staff is amazing, not only are they so kind to me but they’re super time efficient and they remember my order and name! every time me and my coworkers come in we feel so welcome.“
“Sweet Treets Bakery exceeded all expectations with their phenomenal wedding cake. Not only did it taste absolutely amazing, but it was also a work of art in itself. From the initial tasting to the final wedding cake, working with Sweet Treets Bakery was an absolute pleasure. Their team was incredibly accommodating, ensuring that every detail of our cake was tailored to perfection. The flavors were delectable, and the presentation was nothing short of stunning. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how delicious and beautiful the cake was. I highly recommend Sweet Treets Bakery to anyone in need of a wedding cake. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and exceptional culinary skills make them the ideal choice for making your wedding day even sweeter.“
“When it comes to gluten free, vegan donuts, taste and texture are crucial factors. Collette’s donuts won’t disappoint you. I didn’t find a flavor I didn’t like and it’s so nice to eat them knowing that I won’t feel sick after. I can’t live without them in my house and my favorite is the cinnamon one. Go try! ❤️“
“Visited this place for dinner. Great atmosphere and it has good ambinace. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Food is very good, we ordered combination Fajitas, spiced it up with serano peppers. The taste of fajitas was just amazing. The flan was not very sweet and did not have usual egg smell. It was just perfect.Parking: Lot of Parking spaces available as it is in big shopping complex.“
“I love dropping by this place. First, Thundercloud, in my opinion, is the bust sub shop in Austin. I always found the service to be prompt and courteous along with a great atmosphere of a small sandwich shop. It's one of my favorite treats.Vegetarian options: I'm not vegetarian, but I do know they have goid options.Parking: It's in a strop center with lots of parking.Dietary restrictions: Same as the vegetarian options. I'd say pretty good options.“
“Went for lunch first time being there had to use the bathroom the restroom was nasty look like a gas station rest stop no paper towels the food was so bad I order a veggie burrito it had super hot peppers that was not on there menu the server never told me the sauce on the burrito was not good taste like a pasta sauce from a can so I took it back and ask for a simple bean burrito they came back with 2 flat rolled up taco threw some can sauce that taste like chili and it was terrible the owner was very nice server was very nice but the food I would never recommend anyone to eat here or use the restroom there had I know the restroom was dirty I would not had sat down or ordered any food here it is not authentic mexican food I am not sure what kind of mexican food is being served it is so disappointing“
“We went here on a Saturday night and the place had plenty of seating available. We had the cheese rolls, green curry and Pad Ke Mao.The cheese rolls were good and the dipping sauce was excellent. The green curry despite asking for medium was spicy. We loved that it was spicy and we were glad we didn’t ask for it to be spicy to begin with.Pad ke mao was good and had a nice Smokey flavor to it.We felt the food was good but was pricey for the portion sizes.“
“Great kid area. They just need more staff to actually clean tables.Vegetarian options: They have your standard American fare, and my kid usually just does a grilled cheese.Kid-friendliness: Lot of good kids options. Wish they had a grilled kid dish aside from burgers.“
“I’ve been coming to this Mad Greens location for years so it’s time I finally wrote them a review. Great place to come to get something quick that’s healthy and tastes great. I like the Southwest Bowl. Matt who works at this location is a great guy and always makes sure everything is right. In fact he knows my order before I can speak it into existence. Stop by for something healthy that tastes great - and ask for Matt, he’ll take great care of you!“
“Always fresh and tasty - and I *think* maybe healthier than most sandwich places, though I can't say that with authority. At this location, they are always friendly and blindingly fast at whipping up your sandwich. Good stuff. If you need a sandwich, you can hardly do better.“
“I love this place. The food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is very pleasant compared to many Austin restaurants. The seating is reasonably far apart, so that people are not sitting within inches of you, and it is possible to have conversation. There is plentiful parking as it is in the shopping center by Petsmart and Ulta. The staff are always wonderful and welcoming.Vegetarian options: One can order any dish without meat.Parking: Huge parking lot.Kid-friendliness: This would be a great place to bring children.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for ADA.“
“I dine here 2-3 times/week. Warm, friendly staff with low turn over which means the owner is a strong leader. Food is fresh and tasty. Prices are fair. Atmosphere is lovely, contemporary and relaxing. Outdoor courtyard is nestled under lovely hill country oak trees. Music is upbeat, lovely, but not so loud you can't think or hear someone talk across the table.“
