“Tadashi is a solid sushi spot in our neighborhood, and it’s great to have a place like this nearby. This time, we ordered Salmon Fatty Nigiri, Ebi Nigiri, and Salmon Nigiri. The Toro Tuna was excellent—something that’s rare to find at this level in Austin. The other nigiri were also well-prepared and fresh.

Unfortunately, they didn’t have Sea Urchin Nigiri this time, which is usually one of our favorites. The atmosphere is pleasant, making it a great post-movie stop, especially since it’s located in a plaza right by the theater. Reliable, high-quality sushi for the area, and definitely a go-to for a casual but well-executed sushi experience.“

“The best old school Tex Mex in town. Fajitas are so much better than Chuys or Maudie’s. Then there are killer items like shrimp ala mexicana with chipotle and classic lengua. Green enchiladas crush the ones from other places. Margaritas are super tasty and there’s no better staff at this family run place. It’s all very reasonably priced. Can’t recommend it enough.“

“Just picked up breakfast for the first time at Angel Donuts and Treats. I don’t think I’ll be going anywhere else for our weekly donut outing. The donuts are stellar, the cake balls are flavourful, and the macarons are perfect in both texture and taste. Staff was simultaneously helpful and laid back. Very low pressure atmosphere. The only possible downside to this place is that everyone else knows about it and a bunch of the flavours were gone within 4 hours of them opening. Go early, get the good stuff!“

“Had dinner at Homespun last night. Our first time there. It was WONDERFUL! The CF Steak & CF Chicken were absoultely delicious. Prices were reasonable. My only disappointment was that the veggie side dish servings were quite small. Otherwise, a wonderful meal. Servers were very courteous and knowledgeable. Can't wait to visit Homespun again.“

“Editing as promised: I called the store the next day and spoke to Megan the manager, she was apologetic and refunded me the meals cost.

5 stars for how they handled the concern. 4 stars because it shouldn’t happened to begin with but mistakes happen.

Will definitely try them again.

On Saturday, 9/27, I picked up my order of 10 (Order #5047699). To my frustration, I discovered that the meals were sold with expiration dates far too close to the pickup date:

* 2 meals expired on 09/29
* 3 meals expired on 09/30
* 3 meals expired on 10/01
* 2 meals expired on 10/02

This means nearly half of my order will end up in the trash. It is unacceptable that Snap Kitchen sold meals only 2 days away from expiring.

I just contacted Snap Kitchen if they respond in timely manner, I will update the review accordingly.“

“This place is a hidden gem. One of the best Thai food in Austin area and we are a regular here. You need to order in advance and the order will be ready on time for pickup. It’s not a fast food place. The food is prepared with so much effort and passion and that is evident in each bite. Highly recommend.“

“Please don’t get me wrong, the waitress was wonderful, and I’m sure the food is great—I haven’t had a chance to eat mine yet since I ordered it to go. I stopped in with my son and a friend to grab my food to go because I had to get to work, while my son and my friend ate there. I didn’t get my to-go burger until the very end of their meal, which made me late for work. When I brought it up to the manager, his response was maybe you should call it in next time and then turned his back on me and walked away. Oh no, you did not just say that! This manager is doing a huge disservice to the restaurant and leaving a bad taste in people’s mouths. Like I said, the waitress was sweet as can be, and I’m hoping the burger is as good as I’ve been told, but the manager does not need to be interacting with customers at all. Until he is gone or his customer service attitude changes, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. The audacity and rudeness he showed from the time I arrived until I left blows my mind. I work in the service industry myself, and I would never even think about talking to someone that way, especially a customer who is supporting my establishment.“

“We just had a graduation Party there. Eric P was excellent in assisting my wife with menus, food amounts and overall logistics. The Room upstairs accommodated 50 people easily and there was elevator access. The good was absolutely delicious and our Bartender Patty was amazing! Our family can not thank the Maudies family enough for an incredible event!! It was an amazing time had by all!!!! Thank you!“

“Everything was great. The spagnazza was to die for and I added fried chicken to it and that was the right answer. The crunch of the chicken just completed the dish and is my favorite thing from Cheddar's. My dates chicken fingers were great and she said they went great with the country gravy. I liked the honey mustard dressing and the sweet rolls were great but not hot. Good service and everything was clean. Overall great experience“

“I stopped here cause I was by the bus station and I decided to try their beef. It was a luncheon special so it’s only 995 and you get your main dish with rice, soup which I got egg drop, and it also comes with an egg roll. It was exactly what curry beef was supposed to taste like not overly seasoned not under seasoned just right. The eggroll was crunchy and I used the sauce they gave me to dip it in, sauce had a light spice/sweetness to it, exactly what I needed for a quick lunch. Stop by and try it you won’t regret it and ignore the rating because it’s such a disservice to it.“

“This was the very first MOD Pizza location I ever visited a few years ago, and it immediately made me a fan. The restaurant was very clean, had a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff was incredibly patient and helpful, especially since I had no idea how the ordering process worked or what to choose.

The food was fresh, made exactly how I wanted it, and very reasonably priced, which made the experience even better. The ability to customize everything and still get a quality meal quickly really stood out to me.

Because of that first visit, I’ve become a loyal customer and make it a point to stop at any MOD Pizza location I come across.“
