“I had the dry rub CPR wings and fried pickles. The wings were fried/seasoned perfectly. The pickles were also fried well, nice and hot. The customer service was warm and welcoming. I also enjoyed playing a game of Jenga while I waited for my food. I would definitely recommend to get this place a try!“
“Came to visit Austin and was so not pleased with the food on the downtown side so we looked this place up and when I say this place is for the CULTURE !! Food was 10/10 and service was 10/10. We would recommend anybody to come here. Our server was Kori? I think that was her name but she was great and the hookah service was great as well. I’m from Louisiana and I can honestly say the food definitely is up to par to my city!“
“I ordered the gumbo, crab cakes, and bread pudding. All three were great, but the gumbo and breadpudding had me licking my lips for days after my visit. Our server, Kassie, was attentive and welcoming and the rest of the staff were just as lovely. I was overly disappointed to discover they are not open on Mondays, but the next time I’m in the Austin area I will be returning.“
“Y'all's Down-Home Southern Café is an absolute gem tucked away in the heart of the ROCK, aka Round Rock. From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted with the irresistible aroma of Southern comfort cooking that instantly transports you to Grandma's kitchen on a Sunday afternoon.Let's talk about those chicken wings. Crispy, juicy, and seasoned to perfection, they're the epitome of Southern comfort food. Each bite is a symphony of flavors, with just the right amount of seasoning to leave you craving more. And let's not forget about the size – these wings are big enough to share, but you might find yourself hoarding them all to yourself. Now, onto the sides. The black-eyed peas are a standout dish, with tender beans and bits of onion that add a pop of flavor with every bite. They taste like they've been simmering on the stove all day, infusing each spoonful with the warmth and comfort of a homemade meal. While the fried corn may not have been the star of the show, it still held its own. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, it provided the perfect contrast to the savory goodness of the chicken wings. And while a touch more seasoning would have taken it to the next level, it still satisfied that craving for Southern comfort food. And of course, Southern meal would only be complete with cornbread. Moist, buttery, and oh-so-delicious, it's the perfect accompaniment to any meal. Each bite is like a taste of home, reminding you of lazy Sundays spent gathered around the table with loved ones.Even during a pickup order, the attention to detail and friendly service at Y'all's Down-Home Southern Cafe shines through. As I placed my order, the server or bartender who assisted me was not only pleasant but took the time to repeat my order back to me. It might seem like a small gesture, but it's those little touches that truly make a difference in the overall dining experience. Their attentiveness ensured that my order was accurate and exactly what I was craving, adding an extra layer of warmth to the already inviting atmosphere of the restaurant. It's these moments of genuine hospitality that keep me coming back to Y'all's Down-Home Southern Café time and time again.“
“What a wonderful place if I may start off! Was seated down immediately and the menu was properly explained to us. Didn’t wait too long for our food to arrive. The seafood itself if I may be honest, wasn’t exactly the top tier quality I expected from past reviews. But man, the sauce was incredible! I got the Lemon Pepper Medium spice and it was just absolutely the perfect amount of tang and spice I needed. Totally made the food a much better eating experience. Size of the Crab Legs and Shrimp I got was appropriately sized. Our waiter Terry, was great! If you come in and he’s your waiter and man! The restaurant also gave us a couple of beignets to try which was a nice gesture.Overall when you come here, expect great sauce, great waiters, and a welcoming atmosphere! Price is as expected for a seafood boil (around $40 a person) and quality is hugely dependent on the season (which in our case, the season of crawfish and etc isnt the best right now). But would recommend anyone to give this place a shot ?“
“I came in for lunch with a friend and we had an amazing time. Our server Tyler was prompt, attentive and extremely helpful. He made sure we had a fantastic experience. Our food and drinks were phenomenal. The manager Keith was so friendly and continually checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back again. Thank you!“
“a perfect place for your seafood dinner!! the customer service by the guys running the truck was above and beyond what we expected, answering all our questions and providing recommendations. the new orleans po’boy was great, the fried shrimp were crispy and flavorful, and the fried fish was well seasoned and fresh. everything was prepared at order so everything was hot when we brought it home. we will definitely be going back for more!“

“Went with wife and enjoyed the new brunch menu they have on Saturday and Sundays it was delicious just like dinner options. Got the chicken and waffles with grits and bacon the grits were cooked perfectly the chicken was huge flavorful and crispy the waffle tasted like cake which I loved. My wife got the hash she loved the potatoes and how it had a bit of everything in the dish. Topped it off with mimosas which were also refreshing.Kid-friendliness: Offers a kids menu for brunch“
“Thee food was amazing! ish was on point. The boils were good though a tadbit salty. The manager did mention we could have requested to have it reboiled to remove some of the saltiness but we were happy with it nonetheless! My daugjter asked for the hamburger and said was great! Had a live band that played well and server was super attentive. 5 stars all the way!“
“I got the honey hot and lemon peeper chicken it was fried fresh and crispy yet tender inside and the honey hot in my opinion was not hot it was super tasty and very palatable and the lemon pepper is better than wingstop or wings and things or wing Daddys it was super yummy. I dont regret visiting here while on a short trip!!Parking: As long as it is not busy you can park right in front of their truckKid-friendliness: Anyone can go there nothing seemed to be un safe when we went. I took my daughter with me.Wheelchair accessibility: It’s an outside lot so it is accessible.“
“Good food and nice staff. The boudin egg rolls were good, even though the texture of the filling was not to my liking, the flavor was good and the dipping sauce was delicious. The chicken and sausage gumbo was very tasty ? I wanted to try the crawfish etoufee, however they didn't have any the day of my visit. My coworker had the fried catfish and also the turkey necks and said they were both very, very good. Overall, we both give this place a thumbs up?? and will be back to try more!“
“The food was delicious ?!! Everything we ordered tasted great. We had crawfish & shrimp boil, gumbo, fried shrimp basket, 10pc wings garlic butter & Carolina gold sauce, cajun and sweet potato fries We were not able to eat in due to our late arrival; therefore, we ordered to go. We enjoyed it all. The customer service was great!! Didn't get a chance to get the manager's name, but his spirit and energy were so welcoming. You can tell he loves what it does! Thank you to the cooks as well! We will definitely visit again when we are in this area. Highly recommend!!“
“It's finally summer, so time for road trip dates and weekend trips. And if your travel love language is food like mine, I know you'll be trying out some awesome restaurants outside of Dallas. So, I have this one for my seafood lovers! Just down the road in Austin you can find some of the best seasoned boiled seafood at @kasianboil . I have crawfish, shrimp & snowcrab while there and yes, it was goooooood! It's a Must Visit & I will definitely be going back. Pro Tip : Ask for a side of sauce.. you'll want more one you taste it. Bonus Tip: Check out their deal on @groupon“
“OMG! After a mix up in pick up time was corrected, I got my food quickly and barely had to wait. Drove 11 minutes to my daughter’s house and our boiled dinners were still hot! We were just in New Orleans last December and I have to say that this meal was better than what we had there. The flavor was perfect and my hush puppies were phenomenal. My daughter had the Cajun Boil and I had the mini headless shrimp boil. I am definitely going back!“
“We visited Pacific Star on a Friday night. We got a seat immediately. The staff were very friendly. The food was good! We had a fun experience with quick service. They have a special seafood soup that was not on the menu. We bought one to go. When we ate it the next day, it was absolutely delicious. This place is a hidden gem. I recommend it!“
