“Last stop of late day drinking in Pflugerville. This place is a classic dive bar and two in our group found it fun. Pool tables in front and back room, stage for live music and lots of seating. Missed not having local craft beer on tap but their beer fridge is well “
“It's a classic neighborhood bar. It's also about community and family. A great core of regulars rally around, lookout and support each other. There's no other place like it. Is it heaven? No, It's Hanovers. And that's pretty damn close.“
“Very polite staff. I wish I'd caught her name, because our server was so sweet when I sent back the Jellyfish salad and she let me sub it for eel. There wasn't anything wrong with the jellyfish - it was well put together, and if you like spicy, tangy seafood dishes, then PLEASE give it a try.The eel was phenomenal, though. Sweet and savory, it practically melts in your mouth, and it goes very well with the caramelized onions. If you were our waitress and you see this, I was a little too shy to thank you as much as I wanted to. I really appreciated your patience and kindness. We were the fourtop in the booth right by the door.“
“Love Billy’s! Great burgers, and the vegetarian one is very good if you don’t want beef. Only had one bad experience with very greasy onion rings. We usually go when it’s not busy because parking can be an issue and you sometimes need to park a couple streets over.“
“This place has such a warm vibe. Great in the morning for espresso and lovely later in the day and into the evening for beer or a glass of wine. It's easily overlooked because it's in a multi-tenant building, but I love having Burnet Go-To in the neighborhood. If you're looking for a comfortable spot to go by yourself or to meet others, I highly recommend Burnet Go-To.“
“Came by with my wife to kill an hour before eating at Foreign & Domestic. It's a cute place with a nice sitting area out back to go with the inside atea. We ordered some pimento cheese w French crostinis and pickled vegetables to eat with our drinks. My wife enjoyed an N/A equivalent of an aperol spritz ehile I had a bourbon sour w bitters that was pretty tasty. The salt on the crostinis and strongly pickled veggies paired perfectly. Nice music--mellow--played in the background and our bartender was friendly and very helpful identifying my drink choice. Happy Hour had some great deals, too. We'll be back.“
“Food and drinks are high quality. Service was excellent. We had a large party of 12 and made the reservation about 2 weeks ahead. Most of the party arrived 30 minutes early and we waited in the bar area per the hostess' request. I'm pretty sure our table was ready by the 15 minutes-- til 4 pm mark, but the hostess didn't let us know, until 5 minutes after our reservation, and I had to ask to be seated. With that being said, the Manager that was standing at host stand the entire time started eye balling our family table glancing down at his watch, staring at us... and repeated about every 5 minutes. This started about 1.30 hours into our meal. We had birthday cake and a few presents. I noticed he did the same thing for another large party. It was just okward and weird and we felt too rushed to eat, drink and visit with family. I'm pretty sure our ticket was well over $600. There was a wait at the door but I noticed about 5 empty tables/booths at that time. Maybe next time just let folks enjoy their company without having a passive-aggressive manager peering down their steps of service and timing their stay. 2 hours was not enough time to permit him doing that. Next time we will go somewhere else with the large party.“
“Cool little neighborhood dive bar. We stopped after a game at q2 yesterday and ordered 2 brentwoods, straight bourbon, and also a "happy meal."Good prices and tasty drinks. I really enjoyed the brentwood and my buddy appreciated his whiskey which was old grandad. Cant go wrong with a happy meal anytime... (lone star and shot of whiskey)“
“Part of the ROCK THE ROCK pub crawl, they were the last stop for my group. They were very accommodating and went out of their way to serve our group some beer after the previous 3 groups drank all the provided donated beer. Staff was working their tails off too as I had the largest group. The patio was awesome and a big hit w the group. Thanks for being awesome hosts.!!!“
“I haven't eaten here as their kitchen has been closed on my visits. Good bar/pub though with a decent selection of beers and a very serviceable Guinness poured! (The bartenders are also really fast to take your order and make sure your glass isn't long left empty! Excellent service)“
“This is our go to comfort food place with the friendliest staff in town. We usually share the large fish and chips with a couple of beers. The cheeseburger is great too though make sure you ask for medium rare. It's a fantastic place to eat, drink and watch a race or other sporting event.“
“One of the few bars in Austin that has no problems with showing Jeopardy on the TV with the sound on. For some reason all other places refuse to have the sound on because "people want the music on", when those people are like one or two old men drinking “
“Review Update: BRING CASH (Dropped one star)We visited with our daughter for some apps and drinks on Sunday. On Monday I called in to ask why the extra charge of nearly $100? They advised that it was a 'temp hold' added when opening a tab and should 'fall off in 24 to 48 hours'. Today, was surprised to find the pending charge of $99.76 is STILL on my account 2 days later. I get that you want to mitigate for deadbeats vagabonds and scallywags, but this could be a serious game changer for folks on a tight budget. I strongly advise customers to BRING CASH to avoid Brass Tap holding onto such a large amount of money for more than 1 day. Also, recommend to first eat elsewhere; The Taps' once scrumptious and unique selection of hors d'oeuvres and goodies has become 18th century brig chow at best; much different qualtity than when they re-introduced their menu a couple years back: Korean Nachos, used to be our favorite. Salty thick sticky sauce, state fair cheap chips... simply overpriced and just 'meh'. (chicken wings were the star; at least edible to be fair).--Previous Review .. indeed still stands, overall--Such a fun place. I love to try beers that just can't be found elsewhere... The patio outback is fun too! These homies even sell decent cigars!“
“My little hidden burger and beer joint! This is truly a place to unwind after a long work day or catch up with friends. It really is a little hidden if you don't recognize the right exit. Service is always fun and funny. They make the day go by with a funny sense of humor. If you don't get, don't come lmao. Good and draft beers are on point!“
“One of my favorite places to grab an amazing cocktail, not only is the service always amazing but the drinks and the food are continually superb. The gin gimlet is my absolute favorite and the house made lime cordial is out of this world.Ashley, one of the waitresses there is also an absolute angel and loaned me her jacket on a chilly night on the patio. Can you even ask for anything better than that? Every server that we’ve had is a true gem, and every bartender is an artist, I cannot advocate for this place enough.“
“Great beer, good food and the service, well, it wasn’t terrible. Beagle B just wasn’t that friendly. I sat at the bar with a buddy for more than 2 hours. It wasn’t very busy and when I went back to order more beers it was like he had never seen me before. I’m terrible with names so I thought well, I get it. Although I agree with everyone making a living wage, I don’t agree with a gratuity being added without me knowing about it. 15% is way below what I normally tip and even though the service wasn’t great, everything else was. So to be forced to pay a gratuity is something I find frustrating. Especially since even though the service sucked, I would have paid more. I feel that the service might not have sucked if Beagle B actually had to work for his tip instead of it being handed to him. If you decide to work in a tipped environment, you should have to earn that tip.“
“The bartenders are always on point with service, they are funny & very welcoming. They have a good variety of drinks and I just found out they have chilled coffee! I love to go there and play their Firelink games, so much fun! I had an issue with the money machine one time and the owner was just so super sweet and checked it out for me. The place is always clean and smells great! The atmosphere is unbelievably fun with a great variety of music being played on their digital jukebox. There is no food served there anymore, so I cannot leave review on that. Everything else is fantastic!“
“Stopped in to have a late lunch with a friend. The beer, food, and service we're not only fantastic but super quick! It' a great spot to catch a quick bite or unwind and meet up with your friends! I'm definitely going to frequent this place!“
“We attended the End of the World eclipse event. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the drinks were good. The venue is a great place to sit outside and enjoy your food or indoors has a cool vibe. I highly recommend going to Cork and Barrel!“
“I've been to The Growler Bar a few times now. Last night my wife and I went for the bar's 10th anniversary. While there were a lot of people there the bar made sure to set up extra seating. Also despite how busy it was all our food came out way faster than I expected. We had the Spinach Arugula Salad, Potato Skins, Pretzel, and Meatball Sliders. All of the food was excellent and the service was fantastic. There are a few other bar's that might be closer to is but this one is by far my favorite. They have a system that keeps up to date on which beers they have on tap and how much of the barrel is left which you can check out on their website. I highly recommend checking them out if you are looking for good food and good beer ?“
