“Great experience with Cafe Juan! I reached out through their website (about two weeks before pick up date) and was contacted the same day about my inquiry. Every reply was so quick, respectful and friendly! I had never custom ordered a cake before and they made the entire process easy. The cake was delicious as well! When I came to pick it up a young man greeted me at the door very friendly, he noticed there was some bubbles on top of the cake and went back to flatten them out for me without me even saying anything. Definitely will come back for another custom cake!“

During our tasting session, Kayla was not only attentive to our vision for our cakes and desserts, but she also made some great suggestions regarding flavors. I really wanted to do something special and incorporate some kind of pineapple upside-down dessert into the sweet menu because that is Wyatt’s favorite cake. Kayla suggested for the Groom’s cake that we choose the Almond Cake with pineapple filling, and that she could add crushed cherries. This was so special to us, and even better—the combination of flavors was SUPER MOIST AND SO TASTY. “I have very strong gluten intolerance, and I love this place for their GF options. They may not be many, at this point in time, but I like them all. It's very hard to find a bakery that does GF options, especially on a top tier pro level.My favorite is the chocolate chip cookies(when you can get them). If you didn't know they're Gluten-Free, you wouldn't be able to tell. The GF Brownies are my second choice, and regular choice. Then when I'm feeling fancy or need a switch, I go for the Almond Cake. The flavor is delicate and lightly sweet, almost honey esque. Looking forward to them adding more GF options. And then if I could also request Lactose-Free addition, that would be choice and I would spend more time here than I already do.This spot is definitely worth it. “My wife finally finished her Masters thesis project on a Saturday night so I wanted to surprise & celebrate her big achievement the next day with sweets, however I couldn't find a place that was either open on Sunday or a place that did not require an order placed in advance. Suga's Cakery (Patricia) thankfully was open and after chatting with her via her website, I placed an order for 6 different cupcakes.No B.S., these were the most delicious cupcakes my wife and I had ever eaten & we come from NYC and have eaten at Magnolia Bakery when it was all the rage. Patricia's cake was moist, the icing just the right amount of sweet, and you can taste that these were handmade and made by someone who puts care into their baking.Besides the fantastic cupcakes, Patricia is the warmest and sweetest baker. After about 15 mins she text me that the order was ready. I went to pick them up & told her why I was buying the cupcakes, she took a cupcake into the back and wrapped the top in fondant with a "Congrats" written on top to celebrate my wife's accomplishment.What a wonderful, thoughtful gesture! You will not find that kind of above & beyond service at a supermarket or other big box store where you can purchase cakes & sweets.
