“Wow, what a difference compared to Dairy Queen! My wife and I like to take our two and one half year old grandbaby to get ice cream when we babysit. This is generally in the evening. We have been going to the Dairy Queen on Elliot Knox because the other location is so rude and doesnt need our business! Every time we go to this location on Elliot Knox, even though its still a couple hours from closing, they have the bucket with the bleach water out on the floor mopping, trying to get a head start on their closing tasks. Well, it is obnoxious trying to eat with the strong smell of cleaning chemicals. If it was a one off, I would ignore it, but it seems to be the case every time! This time we tried Baskin Robbins, and boy what a difference! The place seemed imaculate, yet there is no hint of cleaning products being used while they are serving customers. And of course all the choices of ice cream! The only minor complaint, and I will still go back, is that tip thing when you pay with a credit card!!!! Why should I tip someone who simply hands a cone over the counter to me? Its not like it's table service! I hate that, and can't help but wonder if they will short you in the future on the size of your cone, if they remember you chose not to tip!!! If they change that I will bump the stars up to five!!!!“

“For our Anniversary in 2022, my wife and I decided we wanted to get a cake to celebrate. We both like old-fashioned butter-creme icing, and not that new light, marshmallow-ish stuff that bakeries put on cakes today. We wanted a layer-cake with thick butter-creme filling, as well as icing on the outside. Emily's Cakes came through for us. The cake we got was more than expected and was absolutely delicious! We're planning to order another one this year, if we haven't waited too late. We need it by Sunday of next week 7/14/24. Is that even possible?“
