“A delightful laid-back counter service eatery serving fresh salads, bowls and wraps. Produce served by the Flower Child are sometimes organic. Their produce and fruit buying is guided by “the dirty dozen” list and presumably also by “The Clean Fifteen” (ask your AI app what these are)
In any case the Flying Avocado wrap I had contained roast turkey, Gouda, romaine, tomato, avocado and hummus. It was delicious. My daughter had a delightful vegetarian salad and my wife ate a delicious Mediterranean chicken kabob bowl. They both drank water and then finished with chocolate chip cookies. I drank a draft IPA.
We sat outside on their covered patio and enjoyed the spring weather and though the restaurant is a little far from our house in Pflugerville, I’m sure we will be back.

“I heard that this location was going to be closed starting Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 3pm for remodeling. It will be closed for about 7 1/2 weeks. That means it will be closed until mid-November.“

“KG bbq definitely lived up to the hype . Everything we had was delicious. We loved the spice to everything. Don’t skip out on dessert either both bread pudding and rice pudding were amazing . Definitely will be back !“

“I love this place so much. The employees here are always so nice, and the food is so good. The green beans are my fav thing on the menu, but really everything is good. Portion sizes are large and most menu items are still good leftover. The only downside is that there is hardly any parking, but if you go on a Sunday, street parking is free.“

“I always have such a great experience at MAD Greens, but I especially wanted to shout out the two employees Ken and John who helped me today! They are always so kind, welcoming, and incredibly fast. They make my salads SO good every single time and somehow get everything put together perfectly even when they’re moving quickly. “The best old school Tex Mex in town. Fajitas are so much better than Chuys or Maudie’s. Then there are killer items like shrimp ala mexicana with chipotle and classic lengua. Green enchiladas crush the ones from other places. Margaritas are super tasty and there’s no better staff at this family run place. It’s all very reasonably priced. Can’t recommend it enough.“

“Rented out the little house for a party on Thursday 6/6 evening with food and drinks and had a blast. The wait staff was fantastic and friendly and all we had to do was show up and order. “So far this is one of the better chicken salad sandwiches in town well the north side of town. It's more on the dry side which I prefer I don't like a ton of mayo in the chicken salad, but don't get me wrong it's not dry it's just not sloppy with mayonnaise like most places. Generally I don't care for grapes or red onions in my chicken salad unless they are pretty small diced which The Red Onion pieces are tiny and that way you don't get a huge blast of onion flavor it's honestly a nice blend of chicken salad flavors evenly. The bread always seems fresh I've even eaten half and saved a half for the next day and straight out of the fridge the bread is still soft and fresh tasting. Today I tried also a pepperoni pizza. The pizza crust is really good it tastes like Old School Mr Gatti's regular pizza crust, iykyk.... the sauce is nothing to write home about but the cheese and pepperoni was decent and amount and flavor it wasn't the best pizza I've had but very fair and consistent and I would definitely order it again I actually want to try the chicken barbecue next time. But so far the chicken salad sandwich with the potato salad side is my go-to when I'm hungry but I don't know what I want to eat and nothing sounds good there's just something really easy and satisfying about that combo“
